I think this site is ok for a quick overnight. Electric and water hook up’s are good. No other facilities. Next to Ohio river with some views. Most of RV are people living in them or working folks staying for summer. Felt safe.

Site 15 - Blue Heron Hideaway
It was a peaceful and relaxing weekend for us. Quiet campground except for the road traffic, but you can block it out. Wish there was access to the river, but there was a view. The train going thru twice a day never bothered us. Barely heard it inside the camper. There was a awesome gift shop across the road from the campground and close to other restaurants and businesses. Wish there was more for kids to do, but there is a playground up the road. We will definitely go back again. Our host was awesome!

Site 17 - Blue Heron Hideaway
Quiet spot tucked in just over the Ohio line, right on the banks of the Ohio River. Very inexpensive place to stay overnight in your camper or RV. Sites available with water and power, and sites without. There is no toilet available. An active rail line and barge channel do pass behind the campground. Big grassy spots abound, bring a long lead and it's a nice place for your furry friends to explore, just keep them away from the active rail line.

Blue heron campground was right on the Ohio river with an awesome view. It was so peaceful! Also, convenient walking distance to Dollar general.

Blue Heron Hideaway
The power plant is visible from location, as well as a train coming by every night at 1:00am. It’s about 15 feet from the campground and feels like it’s inside your camper. The highway is on the other side and you can hear traffic from it all night. The water on our site was turned off. Needed to use the one on the other side. Make sure if you want to be close to the river your vehicle and trailer can get up steep hills as it was fairly difficult to access.

Just what we wanted for a lady minu
Blue Heron Hideaway
Quiet spot to recharge. No worries at all. Beautiful view from our river front site. Train came by but wasn’t a bother at all. Full hook ups.
