This is the only RV site on the Lil Bit Of Heaven Campground, giving you privacy and peace from your typical RV campground. It includes full hookups: water (clean well), sewer, and electric hookups. You can also access the permanent bathrooms on site, a picnic table, and the group campfire on the river. Note: this RV site is located right past the gate and does not require any complicated or tricky driving to get parked. It is a packed gravel pad.

You are booking campsite #4. This is our most private campsite and has the longest walk (approximately 200 feet) from the parking area to where your tent site is. This is an approximately 8x8 flat tent pad. Your campsite is very near the river for relaxing sounds of moving water, and many different types of river birds are to be expected. It is common to see eagles, herons, hawks, owls, and many songbirds along the river. This is a fantastic place to star gaze as no light pollution exists. You are about a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute drive out of Marblemount. Walking into town in the morning for a coffee is very easy. We highly recommend Karina's Deja Brew for coffee and breakfast! You can also find groceries, camping supplies, and just about anything at Chom's Grocery (the blue building next to the Chevron gas station). You will have approximately a 200-foot walk from where you park your car down to your test site on the river's side. You can access the group campfire ring, clean water, toilet flushing, shower and picnic tables. Campfirewood is provided on-site most of the summer.

This group test site has two large tent spaces (approximately 12 x 12 packed gravel and sand pads - level) and can accommodate two groups of 4 for 8 people total in this reservation. Your test site is about 40 feet from the edge of the Cascade River, and you have unobstructed star-viewing and the sounds of the river and river wildlife throughout the night. This listing includes tent sites #1 and #2 right next to each other. It is about a 100-foot walk from where you park your car to where you can pitch your tent. A large group campfire with log seats is available for use. Some of the amenities include permanent flushing toilets, picnic tables, fresh drinking water, shower and firewood on site (most of the summer). Three more tent sites can be booked on this property if you want to camp with a larger group. We enjoyed our stay in campsite #4 along the river. The campsite is private and well suited out needs while we explored the hiking trails in the area. The hot shower was amazing after a long day hiking. One minor thing, there's no cart or wheelbarrow to help haul your things to your site - that would be really helpful. We'll definitely book again when in the area!

Quiet retreat near the N. Cascades

We enjoyed a quiet three nights staying at Shane's cool piece of property in our 28' travel trailer. It's a great location for exploring N. Cascades National Park without needing reservations at national park campgrounds (or if they're closed in the off-season, as they were for us). The river is a short walk away and is lovely, plus there is some road noise, but it was fine at night. It's a short walk west down the road to the park by the boat launch if you want an evening stroll after dinner. One note for anyone in a trailer: the utilities (power/water/sewer) are set up on the wrong side. I had to dump our gray water using a bucket and wasn't able to connect black water. Fine for a 3 night stay, but not ideal. Also, rather than pulling into the property head-first, I recommend flipping around in the gravel/pad road out front first for an easy backup. Overall, a great stay in a beautiful place!

Nice location, river access, uncrowded site. It was a nice place, the only downside was that the way the site is arranged, there is a yert right in front of the RV space, so you get a front row seat at seeing your yert neighbors and they do as well. Otherwise a nice site that I would stay at again.

We Left

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Long story short: we arrived to the galaxy dome around 8pm, and it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous campers. Bed unmade, dirty sheets, stuff on the floor, etc. Messaged host right away but didn’t hear back from him for a while - long enough for us to decide to seek other lodging, secure another place to stay, drive to Concrete, and check in to the motel. Host did contact me later, but we’d already checked in at the Cascade Mountain Lodge (which looks a bit questionable from the road, but is really clean and comfy and I would stay there again!) The last two weeks I’ve put off leaving a bad review, cause I just hate to do it. Host did issue a full refund and I got all of my money back, so I appreciate that. Dome smelled really musty, like others have said. And all the camps were quite close together, way closer than photos seem. Those two things were not deal breakers, but used sheets and uncleaned room are. We are frequent tent campers, but if I’m paying for a bed I assume it would be clean.

Pre Labor Day camping trip

Absolutely beautiful place, Will definitely stay again on an off holiday. Close to restaurants and a gas station for last min items. Yet you feel so far removed. Definitely recommend the upriver Grill and Taphouse. Absolutely gorgeous outside eatery and delicious. Camping wise upon arrival, we realize the spaces were pretty tight and close together. You have to walk through one neighbors space to get to the bathroom, and at the time only one bathroom was available for our entire stay. Our neighbors next to us were quiet and chill, kids and dogs. We had no issues. But I could see how multiple people packed in so tightly could cause a little bit of frustration. Overall, I absolutely loved the place and would love to visit again. The tent camping sites looked cute and quiet. There’s a beautiful fire pit by the river. And if you walk up towards the bridge, there’s a nice little swimming hole. 100% recommend on a slow weekend with not a lot of travelers.

Our camp site was very private and right on the river. Bathrooms are clean and the shower was amazing - so thankful to have both! Great location for river rafting, hiking and exploring of nearby small towns. Zachary was very responsive and helpful (thank you for the firepit at the site!) We would definitely camp there again 🙂

Visiting N. Cascades National Park

Great place to pitch a tent. Only one RV site that is FHU. It is large enough to accommodate my 40’ 5er. The property was very clean. Sounds of rushing water can be heard from the nearby river. Host was easy to reach and quick to respond. I highly recommend Zachary’s land.

I liked my tent spot by the river because it was private and quiet. I enjoyed the hot shower and flush toilet. Tent site #4 was a long way from the parking area, too far for me to bring my cooler and other things down (I was camping on my own). A wheelbarrow or something like that would have been useful.

Starting with the good: There’s 30A and 110 power, water and dump area for the RV spot. The pad is level and easy to back into (if you back from the road, don’t try to drive your RV into the camp then back it in). The location is just down the road from the tiny town of Marblemount, only 20ish minutes from Diablo. The bathrooms/shower appear to be in good order. You can hear the river from the RV lot. Bad: This wasn’t private, whatsoever. The yurt on the property is right next to the RV site, making any privacy in the grass area impossible. We ultimately just made camp on the road side of the RV to enable privacy but it’s not level and overgrown. Someone showed up 2/3 days we were there and pressure washed and used an impact drill to do something. It was quite the nuisance when you’re supposed to be out in the middle of nowhere camping. If you get a tent site, they also offer no privacy as they are right next to each other and anyone walking to the river will cross through. Lastly, you can see the river but there’s no river access. Overall, we weren’t thrilled with the experience but can’t expect someone to be there doing maintenance EVERY time, or at least I’d hope not. For large groups, this would be a fun lot to book out all of the spots. Take highway 20 into the location rather than the cascade river road, it’s a much better sight.

My partner and I loved our stay at Little Bit of Heaven Campground! The near by town was a great to grab some food and drink if we didn’t want to cook in camp. The sound of the rushing river put us right to sleep. North Cascades was an easy drive from the site!

I loved the space, the tent area is very clean and the site #3 is separated from site 1 and 2, in case you need more privacy. The sound of the river was very peaceful which helped me sleep. Having a shower comes very handy after a long day of hiking. Totally recommended!

Great spot for tent camping! There were five tent camping sites near the river with a communal fire pit. The spots are fairly close, but we didn’t mind that, we enjoyed chatting with our neighbors. Only complaint is that the toilet paper in the bathroom ran out the first night we were there and was never replenished while we were there (2 nights). Super close to North Cascades National Park and other gorgeous hikes in the area.

Great spot close to the North Cascades and close by town! Overall satisfied but need to clarify a few details for any future travelers. The site is 30amp only, not the advertised 50amps. Secondly, the connections are on the wrong side (a bit nit picky) but just know you will have to either have an extension or just get on the ground and run the power, water and sewage underneath. And lastly, the spot is a bit tight for a big rig (30ft +) to get into. My advice is if you are entering from the bridge/town side is to find a way to turn around before entering and try to back into the location (may require some scouting). If you try to enter head on you will find yourself having to make a U turn in a less than desirable space for a larger rig. But once you get in, and run your connections underneath. The place is wonderful and even has off site parking for your truck! All in all a 7/10 from us :)

It was a beautiful campsite! Marked parking and Amazingly clean facilities with a nice shower and flushing toilets. Felt very luxurious! Pretty close to the other tent sites with a shared fire pit. Luckily the people staying at the site next to us were super cool! We had fun getting to know them. Dog friendly but be very careful your pet doesn’t get swept away by the River! I’d recommend they don’t get close at all. It moved very quickly.

Host gave easy instructions. Gorgeous views at the river front, right off route 20. Perfect for an overnight stay while visits the national forests or parks in the area. Camp sites were a good 30-40 feet from each other, allowing for good privacy
