Stone Hill Farms is a 14-acre working farm and estate in Chesterfield, Virginia, just about 10 miles from downtown Richmond. Guests can enjoy a quiet farm setting with open pastures, mature trees, a spring-fed pond, gardens, horses, chickens, ducks, and the normal sights, sounds, and smells of an active farm. Our location is especially convenient for RV travelers visiting Richmond or passing through the area, with easy access to Route 288, Chippenham Parkway, and downtown without the longer drive into more rural campgrounds. The property offers plenty of room to relax while still keeping restaurants, shopping, events, and Richmond attractions within easy reach. This is not a crowded commercial campground. We offer a very small number of RV sites for guests who want a simple, peaceful overnight stop with easy access and a little more space. Expect horses in the pasture, chickens near the farm buildings, occasional farm activity, and plenty of country atmosphere. Best for: overnight RV travelers, couples and families visiting Richmond, road-trip stops, and campers who prefer a small private farm over a large campground.

Site 2 | The Oaks | Shaded RV Site | Up to 65 ft

Booked 1 time
Vehicle site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 65 ft
Enjoy a peaceful RV stay beneath the mature oak trees at Stone Hill Farms, our 14-acre working farm near Richmond, Virginia. The Oaks offers a spacious, shaded grassy area overlooking the farm, with plenty of room to relax. It's ideal for self-contained RVs, travel trailers, and larger campers looking for a comfortable countryside stop. The site sits on high, dry ground with a gentle slope. Some leveling may be needed, particularly for larger RVs. While the area can accommodate rigs approaching 65 feet, maneuvering and leveling become more challenging at that size. Low-hanging branches may also affect taller vehicles. Please contact us before booking an exceptionally large or tall rig so we can confirm suitability. Stone Hill is an active farm with horses, chickens, ducks, and occasional farm activity. The Oaks is located near our chicken area, so guests should expect normal farm sounds, smells, and early-morning roosters. Whether you're passing through Richmond, visiting family, or simply looking for a peaceful place to unwind, The Oaks offers a spacious alternative to a busy commercial campground.
