We loved camping at the Harmon Homestead! Extremely quiet and relaxing. Friendly hosts that go the extra mile to make your stay amazing. When you go ask to meet the animals. They have goats, pigs, chickens, emu, and the friendliest pup who may come to say hello. Highly recommended.

Brittany’s site was great. There is plenty of room to turn around and get backed into the sites. Her location is a short drive to town for anything that might be needed while at her location. I’ll definitely stay here again if my travels bring me in the area.

Our trip to Virginia at the farm was a wonderful getaway! The camper was clean and comfortable and the hosts even provided s’mores for our campfires. We all had such a fun time petting the goats and piglets. I definitely recommend a visit to the farm! Thank you Brittany ⭐️

The RV we stayed in was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked, and the refrigerator was larger than we expected. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked well and kept it cool, even in the muggy weather. The set up at the site is really pretty and inviting with outdoor seating, lighting, a grill and a privacy screen between this RV and the next one. We got fresh eggs from Brittany and they were delicious. There are fire-pits already set up and grills available too. We took a tour of the farm and got to meet the animals. Brittany and her husband were very welcoming and have information available about local sites to visit. This was our first time RV camping, usually we are in a tent and we had a comfortable, fun time!

We had a blast! From the moment we pulled in Brittany and Josh went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were treated to a tour of the farm which included chickens, roosters, goats, pigs, ducks, and an Emu. Breakfast was fresh eggs from the farm. And we left with a frozen chicken from the farm. Our two dogs were greeted by a Great Pyrenees who wanted to play and romp. Our 20 lbs Mini Aussie slept well. Firewood is one cost and all you can burn. The best part was watching Brittany and Josh work the farm. All the while knowing we don’t have to do a thing… but sit back and watch. It was a great stay and I’ll bet it won’t be our last.

Bunkhouse RV on Farm Blueridge View
We had an amazing time! Brittany and Josh are fantastic hosts, so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The RV was comfortable and cozy - the A/C was so necessary during the hot weather. Lots of nice amenities were provided like coffee, toiletries, charcoal for the grill. Instructions for check in, operating the RV, and driving directions were all easy to follow. Would definitely recommend!

First of all, Brittany is friendly and down to earth, very welcoming. That was so important for us!
It was easy to find her farm, and close to the folks we were visiting in town. Perfect!
The site is level, all hookups worked well, easy to get to. She helped us get oriented.
The farm animals are fun to watch!
Our small dog enjoyed having a little off-leash freedom on the farm.
We were so comfortable we stayed an extra day.

Brittany welcomed us in to her home when there was a tornado warning. Great location to access Shenandoah. We would definitely go again. Good people, nice place.

Brittany, her husband, and 2 kiddos are incredibly welcoming for the site to be directly on their property on the back side of their house. They let me arrive early (even on the day of her daughter's birthday party!) and offered to allow me to stay as long as I needed to the next morning. They have a big white fluffy Great Pyrenes, Charlotte, who may visit you down my the campsite (she is a livestock guardian dog after all!). There is also some fenced areas containing goats, pigs, emu, and chickens. We passed them on our evening stroll down to the creek. The site has hookups for everything you'd need - black water clean out, electric, and water. In addition to a fire ring, chairs, and a picnic table.
This spot is far superior to any campground. Especially since you can add-on some fresh local eggs to your stay :-)

We loved our three-night stay at Brittany’s beautiful farm! My husband and I stayed without our kids for this trip, but this would be a perfect place to return to with children because of the playground and farm animals. This would also be a good spot for a multi family trip since you can bring an RV or rent one that they already have! Loved having full hook ups. The hosts were so kind and helped us out with a few items we forgot to pack. We hiked in Shenandoah and visited Sperryville, but mostly read and relaxed. I would 100% recommend this spot and we hope to return someday!

My family loved camping at Brittany and Josh’s farm! They were so welcoming and helpful at check-in. Our toddler absolutely loved meeting all the animals, especially playing with a baby goat. She also loved the playground! We stayed in our RV next to their RV that’s for rent. I also loved the sweet thank you card they gave us!! We would love to return and would highly recommend!

We camped in our 23 ft Airstream on Brittany and Josh's Harmon's Homestead. It's a small location with full hookups for 2 trailers and another permanent trailer there for renting. The homestead was secluded and very quiet and we enjoyed the small livestock farm--hogs, goats, chickens, and an emu. The nearby small town of Culpeper is a fun place to site see, with specialty shops and some really good restaurants. We'll probably return.

Very spacious site and able to park with woods a s fire pit right at my door. Loved that there we animals on the farm too...will definitely be back!

We are a retired couple who loves to hike and this was a perfect place for us. Brittany and Josh are very friendly, kind and are more than willing to help. The atmosphere they have created on their property is very quiet, relaxing and comfortable. It was a perfect spot for hiking at the National Park. It is about 1/2 hr drive to the park and some of the better hikes. Culpeper is also close for restaurants, breweries or necessary supplies. We would definitely camp there again!

We had an awesome time at Harmon Homestead - Brittany and her husband were super welcoming and it was awesome that they had fresh eggs and firewood available for us. I loved meeting their farm animals and I’d definitely recommend this place.
It’s not as far to all places in Shenandoah as some of the reviews on here suggest, we hiked the lower oak falls via white oak canyon on AllTrails which was way closer than some other parts of the park.

Brittany’s land is great! We loved the pigs and chickens and goats. My kids loved playing on the playground. She met us upon arrival to help us park and came back down with a dozen farm fresh eggs! We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Brittany and Josh were incredible hosts! So friendly, welcoming and willing to help. Their property is beautiful and secluded. The set-up is really well thought out - the full hook-ups made things easy and there was plenty of space for my husband to back up our travel trailer into spot #1. Our dog Lucille loved meeting all the animals - we can’t wait to bring her back to check out the area more. Perfect spot for a long-weekend of hiking and checking out local beer, wine, and small VA towns! Can’t wait to try the farm fresh eggs we went home with. We will be back!

Brittany's was a wonderful host. She helped us get settled in and our camper hooked upped. She provided local recommendations of places to visit. The campsite was well maintained and even though close to another site was not an issue. Harmon Homestead is a great location to explore the area and within 10 minutes of Culpeper.

We loved our stay at Harmon Homestead. The hosts are very nice, helpful, and great at communicating fast. Their home is inviting yet private. It was quite, away from any busy streets. We loved watching the animals and using the walking trail. Any shops and restaurants you needed were close by, but Shenandoah was a bit more of a drive.
