Our stay at Deerfield Dwellings was great! Really enjoyed the Daisy camper. The bed is very comfortable. The porta-potty was clean when we arrived. Everything was clean and we got a jug of water with our stay. We were just passing through to go to a show at the Blue Ridge Music Center but wish we could have checked out Floyd more since it looks like a cute town.

Found this place on a whim because it was a good stopping place on my road trip and after arriving and spending a little time in this CUTEST town I wish I could have stayed for way longer. Set up so sweet, super cozy, and love the location so much.

Daisy, as the name states, is an adorable vintage camper set in a field near Floyd. They have everything well organized & prepped for your arrival. We were greeted by their dog. The space is small & cozy with a comfortable sleeping area. A short walk takes you to the hammocks overlooking the mountains. We did yoga there after we checked out. I really liked the way they cut paths through the fields & didn’t mow them. It added to the being in a nature vibe. It’s a short distance to town and eateries. The port-a-john & portable shower were clean with shampoos & body wash. Firewood is available for a $5 fee. It was seasoned & burned well. I really enjoyed our visit & will return!

We booked Daisy last minute on our way down to North Carolina. It was a wonderful, peaceful stay! We had everything we needed and the place and views were beautiful. Stargazing there was amazing! Book now!

We loved Daisy! The camper is amazingly clean and so cute. We loved all the decor and personal touches and the space was perfect for two people. It was a mom and son (11yo) trip and we felt super safe staying on the property. I would highly recommend this property.

Daisy was truly a magical lil’ scamp. The property is incredible and very peaceful. The proximity to Floyd is unbeatable. We fully intend on staying there again

Daisy was amazing! The camper and lot were closer to the house than we expected, but the barn offered privacy. The camper is truly magical and beautifully decorated! The water in the camper wasn’t running so we struggled to figure out a way to clean the dishes, but it was only a minor fraction in our experience! Definitely would recommend for any relaxing getaway experience :)

We had an absolute wonderful time! It was just the quiet, relaxing getaway we needed. We celebrated our “mini-moon” after getting married a few days earlier! Daisy, and the rest of the property was clean and had everything we could have needed for a perfect glamping experience. Bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks overlooking the property by day, and winding down with a nice fire at night. Camille was a responsive, welcoming and gracious host, assuring us of anything we could have needed. We would absolutely go back without a doubt!

Staying in the Daisy camper was an absolute dream! Super accessible but still secluded. The camper was perfectly cozy for a cool fall night. The port a potty was seriously the cleanest and nicest one I’ve ever used. The lighted pathway to the port a potty was so thoughtful. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!! We cannot wait to visit again!

Our weekend stay in the camper was absolutely perfect! The views are gorgeous and the experience is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and book. Camille is so kind and quick to respond to any questions you may have. This was our first trip post-quarantine and everything felt very safe and taken care of! We will absolutely be back as soon as possible!

Loved Daisy! It is cute as a button, immaculately kept, and very comfortable. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful. The hammock stand on top of a big hill is a nice touch. Camille and her dog Stella were very friendly.

Daisy was a real treat. It’s conveniently close to the center of Floyd, but just far enough outside to feel rural and separated. The RV was quaint and clean and had everything you needed. Definitely be sure to take the short walk up the hill to the private lookout area and enjoy the beautiful Mountain views. I would definitely come back

Ahhhdorable!! The bed was comfortable, plenty of space to relax inside or out, and nice touches to make you feel right at home.
Yes, the toilet is a porta-potty BUT it’s super clean and no one else uses it. Everything is well lit if you need to get up in the middle of the night and the bathhouse is stocked and clean as well.
Wineries super close and try the little town of Floyd is almost as cute as Daisy. Book this place!!!

The camper Daisy exceeded my expectations - very clean and hosts provided so many thoughtful little details (stack of firewood, lots of card and board games, coffee for the morning, etc.). Property was lovely and very quiet, I especially loved the shelter with hammocks at the high end of the property - perfect spot to bird watch and catch the sunset over a beer! Would love to come back some day.

This camper is so beautiful! Well decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable! Definitely exceeded my expectations. There are board games provided by the host as well as local recommendations for food. The yard is very beautiful as well. There is a walking trail around the yard. There is also a place you can hang out in chairs or hammocks. We arrived around sunset and were just amazed at how beautiful this property is! Definitely recommend and would love to come back and stay longer.

A blissful and quiet getaway from the everyday! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Everything was thoughtfully prepared in a well-stocked Daisy, and the shower house even had fresh towels waiting for us. We were able to kick back and relax without a care in the world. The only thing more I could have hoped for was a touch more privacy (i.e. space between sites). Overall, a beautiful vacation we would gladly repeat. Thank you, Camille and Scott!

We had a great time staying in Daisy! All of the little details in the camper were so nice! The hammocks at the top of the hill were great, the bed was so comfortable! Only negative was the hot water didn’t work in the shower, so we had to take a cold shower, but we will definitely be back.

This cabin is everything we hoped for. Comfortable bed, thoughtful design touches that set a great vibe, AC for the warmer nights. And on top of that, Camille is sweet and helpful. Could not recommend this place more.

I went to get away for my birthday and it was great! The only thing that kinda bothered me was i could see their front door from daisy's door, but it was okay because we didnt see them much so i still had the privacy i wanted. I have AT&T and had ZERO service in floyd, which i thought was great because i really got to disconnect. The views were great and daisy was so cute! They have other places so i would love to come back with some more friends one day. Camilla was so nice and made us feel welcome.

This little trailer is so cute and perfect. We had everything we needed for a "glamping" experience, but far away from the hustle of normal campgrounds. The property is secluded and beautiful. Camille and Scott were easily available if we had questions (which we did about the stove, just needed to turn the gas on). I will definitely make the time to come back to this Hipcamp spot.

Camille’s property is just BEAUTIFUL! The camper had everything we needed. We loved the compost toilet and outdoor shower. Everything was cozy, clean and inviting. Camille’s attention to detail is impeccable. I hope we can come back sometime :)

If you're looking for a unique experience and a quiet getaway on a mountain farm - this is the place! Upon arrival the outdoor fire pit was loaded with wood and ready to enjoy. Nearby in the town of Floyd you can sample what's on tap at Buffalo Mountain Brewery and the RV is stocked with information about other fun things to do in the area. The host was very responsive offering extra coffee, setting the RV temp just right, and even helped jump my car after a winter snow storm blew through. Highly recommend and is reasonably priced!
