Welcome to our Bluebird Retreat and Sanctuary. Enjoy close to 40 acres of natural and peaceful surroundings, hiking trails, bird sounds, and solitude. We are located just a few minutes from the heart of Floyd ~ a one stop light town that is known for its music, local food economy, arts, crafts, and community.

Glamp In Our Wildlife Habitat

Our first glamping tent is just steps away from our home. Surrounded by a beautiful garden area and steps away from an outdoor shower, toilet, and sink, this 200sq ft space is perfect for one or a couple. The bedside lamps and overhead light are solar powered as well as the ability to charge your phone(s) inside. This stay is ideal to folks who want to be near the entrance to the road and have the opportunity to interact with us. Spend you days witnessing gorgeous sunsets and say hello to the cows. Please note this site is towards the back of our yard but not very visible from our home. There is a short walk to your site from the gate. We ask that you park at the gate then walk to your glamping tent. Scott and I both work from home most days and are happy to welcome you and show you around.

Think slow mornings, a hike through the woods, and a seat for you and your best friend on the beautiful deck right outside of your tent door surrounded by trees. Whether you're staying the night or more, we'd love to have you.

Spring is here and nature is calling. Our Sunset Glamping tent offers beautiful views, privacy, and the sounds of nature. The large wooden deck extending outside your beautiful tent provides spacious outdoor space surrounded by the forest. Think slow mornings, a hike through the woods, and a seat for you and your best friend on the beautiful deck surrounded by trees. Whether you're staying the night or more, we'd love to have you. Guests will have a short walk to communal composting toilet, sink, and shower. Lamps and charging stations inside the tent are powered by solar.
