Escape to Afton Meadows Retreat! Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s scenic countryside, our open campsites offer the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. You will wake up to the gentle sounds of nature (maybe some farm animals) and spend your days exploring the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether you're stargazing around the campfire or hiking nearby trails, peace and serenity await at every turn. Conveniently located near local vineyards, breweries and farms, with quick access to 64 and Skyline Drive, the property is 15 minutes to Waynesboro and 35 minutes to Charlottesville. Come find your peaceful escape in Afton! You can pick your perfect site, we are very flexible. We also offer a very sheltered site right next to the house that is almost completely level.Set in an open field with mountain views, this campsite is the perfect base camp for all your adventures. This site is fairly level, and you are welcome to spread out. Most of the field is available for tents, but RVs may need some leveling. Sunrises here are spectacular, and it is a short walk down the road to a local vineyard. Depending on the season, we have fresh figs and cherries for our guests.

Set in an open field with mountain views, this campsite is the perfect base camp for all your adventures. This site is fairly level, and you are welcome to spread out. Most of the field is available for tents, but RVs may need some leveling. Sunrises here are spectacular, and it is a short walk down the road to a local vineyard.
