Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Unplug and recharge at this beautifully crafted off-grid timber-frame cabin, tucked away in a secluded corner of my homestead. We live on a dead-end road beside a large town forest, where we grow fruits and vegetables and raise chickens. The cabin is 125 square feet and features a very comfortable queen-size mattress. There is an outdoor kitchen, a hammock, a cedar-lined outhouse with a composting toilet, and a fire ring. You'll park by the barn and walk about 100 yards to the cabin. There are plenty of great hiking trails in the town forest, several nice swimming holes nearby, and beautifully dark night skies. Brattleboro is a 15-minute drive, and Greenfield, Massachusetts, is about 25 minutes away.The cabin is tucked away in a secluded corner of my 2.5 acre homestead. Surrounded on two sides by woods and perched on the edge of a small field, you'll have access to an outdoor kitchen, a fire ring, a hammock, and an outhouse with a composting toilet at your disposal. There is also a sauna which I can fire up for an extra fee.
