I love the surrounding area, feels like you’re in the middle of no where. The trailer has everything we needed. We just wished that the hot water worked a little better since we love hot showers. Ace was very nice and responsive. We would definitely come back for the fire pit.

Was a nice trailer. Was nice and quiet. Went during a cold snap the trailer got a bit cool at night. The fire wood is not dry very smokey and pops. Watch fire carefully.

Set up a last-minute weekend trip to Elm Grove and enjoyed its welcoming space! We enjoyed the nature and quality time together away from our busy schedules. The campfire, cozy little RV, and twisty trees surrounding the space made for a great family weekend. A large buck even stopped by for an early morning visit. Ace was an ideal host with lots of care and consideration for your camping experience. Recommended!!

Beautiful spot! Ace’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway—stocked with everything we needed, close to hiking in the hill country, and felt private in the little grove. Would love to stay again!

The RV was comfortable and cool in the Texas summer. The site was beautiful and well maintained. The thoughtfulness that has gone into setting this place up is apparent in everything from the tree fence that sections off the spot to the conversation pit to the string lights.

The camp site is private and quiet. We had lovely fires in the fire pit with wood provided by Ace.

I loved the grove of trees, campfire circle and lights outside. Really grateful for the safe space, working amenities inside the trailer and the coffee :-) AC works super well! Thank you again Ace for supplying my dog and I with water from your well!

Everything was set up with such thoughtful touches. The side of the RV exceeded my expectations and the host had the lights on waiting for us. The outside area gives you a feeling a privacy. The fire pit was ready.. with wood.. which is a rare sight and luxury to see at a Hipcamp. We felt like we could have easily stayed there for day and have had the best time grilling out and visiting the lake even though we were just there for a night.

Very clean! Close to town but yet hidden in the woods! Very private, felt like we were all alone! The hanging lights, hammock and fire pit were perfect! I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

If you are looking for
Serenity and natures beauty - book here. Away from the hustle and bustle, this RV was exactly what I needed. Loved the cute homey feel and everything was what I needed. The nighttime string lights added such a nice touch to unwind after a day visiting Medina River in Bandera! Also, why book a 5 star hotel when you can have a thousand star sky. Thanks, Ace and I look forward to booking again!

Fantastic site! Ace is a brilliant host, and the amenities are better than expected. A local fire ban was in effect, but the site has lighting available, so ace has everything covered. I'll be back...and hopefully soon.

I thought the entire property was very thoughtful. There were so many little personal touches, I wish we could have stayed longer. They even left coffee for the machine. Top notch! It felt secluded and intentional. I highly recommend.

As soon as we walked in the RV smelled of fresh linens and was so clean! We loved our stay and had fun outside with the small fire. This is definitely somewhere to take kiddos to learn how to start a fire!

Ace is an excellent host and is very accommodating. The camper comes well equipped and is refreshingly clean. The outdoor space is excellent as well. There are plenty of chairs around the fire pit with wood stump "tables". Its very serene and peaceful, you will feel like your miles away from civilization, while being near everything Lakehills has to offer. Cell signal is good if you have AT&T and I was able to complete a Zoom interview while there. If you're a 5 star hotel type person, stick to the hotels. If you enjoy the simple things in life, with simple amenities, this is the place for you. You will not be disappointed.

We had a great time here, super amazing atmosphere, the host Ace was very nice and helpful, the trailer was clean and very well stocked as well as comfortable for me and my wife, will definitely be returning in the future!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Upon arrival we were greeted by smiles and warmth. Ace told us we could extend our check out time as there wasn’t a booking on Sunday. He also loaned us a small kayak for our kids.
The camper had everything we needed. We didn’t realize that we should have gotten our sleeping bags. Anyway, the camper had extra blankets and a small heater to keep up warm.
We enjoyed a roaring fire thanks to the firewood provided.
We also had bottled water. Small things that we didn’t even expect made this stay enjoyable.
We would recommend the place. Medina lake might not be impressive, but the campsite is very nice to have a relaxed time.

In a convenient location, host was extremely helpful and great with communication. RV on site was a huge plus! Had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Right as we got there the place had our name on it! So cool and cute, perfect place to park and so much space, not far from the lake at all. Everything was clean and very well kept. Great privacy, and Azarja was an amazing host. Helped us with the directions and showed us around. I’d give it a 10/10 everytime.
