Tumbleweed gets the job done

Tumbleweed Ranch RV Park
I stayed at Tumbleweed RV Park in Fort Stockton and it delivered exactly what you expect from a West Texas overnight stop: simple, easy, and no drama. The park is older, but the sites are level, the hookups work, and check‑in is quick. It’s right off I‑10, so getting in and out is a breeze, especially if you’re towing.
The park is quiet at night despite being close to the highway, and there’s plenty of room to maneuver a larger rig. Wi‑Fi was available but I didn't use it as 5g worked fine. This isn’t a resort, but it’s a solid, dependable stop when you’re crossing the state and just need a safe, clean place to rest.
If you’re looking for convenience and reliability on a long travel day, Tumbleweed gets the job done.

I didn't get a chance to stay here due to travel changes. But Antonio was so wonderful in his communications with me; that I will definitely include this location on my next trip going through Ft Stockton.

Got in later than expected but owner still met us. We had our pick of sites as we were the only ones there. Small campground but great for an overnight stop. Close to freeway. Only problem was glitch in communication.

Great for an overnight stay. There are sites with overhangs, but cannot accommodate any tall campers. Full hookups available, but no amenities.

This was a very nice clean, level, and conveniently located park. We enjoyed staying here for a one night stop over and move on. Having it veteran owed is a great plus. Price is just right. Would stay again if I’m back this way.

Electric hookup allowed my air conditioner to cool off little camper! That is all I needed.
Hipcamp listing said potable water available but I didn’t find any.

Our spot was directly next to the very busy road and we could hear large semis and vehicles all night. No shade. Overall an easy and close to the highway quick stay if you’re just traveling through.

This location worked well for us, off the beaten path, but close enough to hop back on the freeway. Host (Antonio) was fantastic with communication and accommodating. It had what we needed to get a good night’s rest, run our AC with electricity and even had water and sewer hook up. No complaints.

A safe place right off the highway to have full hookups. No whistles or bells, but covered the basics for full hookup. 14 slots and a few wood car ports. Kids backyard jungle gym. Slot was pretty level, I didn’t put out stabilizers or slides for just a night of rest. No shade.

I love love loved the fact that there were spots with a built awning to get some shade from the sun, I don’t know why that wouldn’t be bragged on more. It made relaxing outside so much more enjoyable since we didn’t have to put up our canopy and worry about the wind taking like Mary Poppins coming from the sky. Very close to a lot of stores and food places. Host was very quick to respond to answer any questions I had.

Very friendly family with a good spot on the side of the local highway. There was definitely some traffic noise, but it was perfect for the two nights we were there. They even brought us delicious cookies from their bakery.

This was one of my first RV parks in Texas. I was originally intimidated by west, but When I arrived at the Tumbleweed Ranch , I felt welcome and appreciated for my RV traveling adventure. I arrived early , but Antonio was very understanding and accommodating on that day. The weather was cold and the wind was so strong, but my set up with all the hookups made me feel super safe and prepared. If I drive through TX again , I will totally stay here! Thank you Antonio!

Great spot for an overnight off of the interstate. The sites are big and the price is good. The owners even brought out hot chocolate and sugar cookies for my wife and I, which were delicious.

Hosts were awesome. Offered hot chocolate and home baked cookies. Allowed us to pick our spot since it's off season and we were 1 of maybe 3 trackers there. We take ownership that we did not read there was no toilet or shower. It was fine for our overnight stop with early departure.

The spot was perfect for a one night stay on our road trip. There were full hookups and many of the sites had things to provide shade that I can’t think of the name of. Parking was also very level so we didn’t even have to unhook our tow vehicle.

Extremely noisy area, dogs barking during the night, other cars in the park coming and going around the clock revving, people walking around sites with flash lights at 3am. No rest was able to be had.
