From Romantic Cottages to family-friendly Vacation homes and luxury Treehouse Suites, to cushy glampers -- minutes from Austin and sweet downtown Dripping Springs -- but a world away, and with all the comforts of home! The Alexander offers quiet surroundings, scenic Hill Country views, and easy access to all this wine country area has to offer including natural wonders like Hamilton Pool and Pedernales Falls State Park, multiple wineries and distillery tours, Camp Lucy, Wimberley, festivals, wedding venues and much more. Our accommodations are situated for privacy, with porches and views, but still offer lovely spaces to gather around a Fire Table for a cozy evening under the stars. Want to cook out? We have several common-area grills for your use. And the GLAMPING? That's in "Ava's Wayback", on the back 20 acres of the property -- with perfectly-appointed, cushy glampers. Your own deck, and a big piece of starry Texas Sky! There's something for everyone here. And we offer easy access to a great grocery store and restaurants as well.

The Happy Hideaway Camper (Sleeps 2-4) is big, with 2 fireplaces! There's one in the bedroom (great king bed, with closet, dresser, and seating ) and another in the large living area. The living area has cushy heated recliners, streaming TV, electric fireplace, and a sofa that opens for optional Queen bed. Enjoy a spacious, fully-equipped island kitchen — and another kitchen outside! Fenced for privacy, you have a beautiful space that includes comfy outdoor seating, as well as a bistro spot, and a perfect propane fire table. Just a walk outside that fence and stroll the our 40 acres or beautiful Creek Road, where horses and cattle roam. It's lovely here!

With a private King suite on one end of the home (with a private entry) PLUS 3 more bedrooms with ensuite baths in the main part of the home, there's lots of privacy. There are TWO living areas, one up and one down, along with a full kitchen, dining space, streaming TV up and down, and the prettiest porch you've ever seen. You'll love this gorgeous front yard, too! This home will accommodate a total of 9 guests. Outdoors: Beautiful front porch overlooks a very spacious fenced front yard -- watch the sunsets from here, comfy outdoor seating area on patio under the big oaks, outdoor dining table, fenced back yard and great grill for your use as well! Centered under a beautiful white chandelier, the space offers a bedroom area, sitting area, a stocked Coffee Bar in the cute kitchenette and a vintage wardrobe for storage. This suite features a comfy Queen bed, seating, and an electric fireplace. The bathroom has a stone shower with a separate vanity space, and the kitchenette has a microwave, mini-fridge, sink, and all the dishware needed for a simple meal. There's also a great sitting porch to enjoy the view of the Texas Hill Country, PLUS lounge chairs on the back patio. Fully cooled and heated (plus that great little fireplace), Wi-Fi, hairdryer, TV with streaming capabilities, and iron & board. The front room has sitting area with an electric fireplace, banquette dining, a sofa (that can pull out into another bed if needed. The bedroom has two cushy Queen beds, with a dresser and streaming TV. The full bathroom has a tub with shower, toilet and vanity. Outdoors, there's both a great sitting porch to enjoy the views of the Texas Hill Country, PLUS a dining table on your shady back deck. Our best Hipcamp experience!!

The Mack at the Treehouse

This is hands down the best Hipcamp we've found. The owners were great—super responsive and genuinely friendly folks with an amazing dog that came by to visit. :) We stayed in the Mack treehouse at the top and also had the Goodnight for a night. Both are really well designed with incredible pastoral views, especially from the elevated Mack. The treehouse sitting area was our favorite spot—perfect for hanging out as a family while enjoying the outdoors but still having the comfort of being inside. The property is huge and perfect for family walks. We loved exploring the grounds and taking in the peaceful landscape. Heads up on a few things: Construction from Austin is pretty heavy right now, so add some extra drive time if you're coming from the east. The beds are very firm—just something to be mindful of depending on what you're used to. Hot water pressure is low, which makes sense for a sustainable setup out here. The amenities room is awesome—stocked with ice, books, games, cornhole, and good local info. You can tell the owners put real thought into it. The stargazing is unreal. Thanks to the Dark Sky initiative, the night sky out here is some of the best we've ever seen. All in all, the peaceful setting and attention to detail make this a place we'll be coming back to. Can't recommend it enough!

Very peaceful and relaxing.. Went with my grandson and his friend. They had A ball. Can't wait to come back this time with the husband. The Outdoor kitchen and fire pit was my favorite.
