We have 5 acres available to guests that is surrounded by pastures and forest. There is a creek bordering the property that is dry much of the year and flowing in the spring after heavy rains. There are trails to the creek, and a road along the pastures. Wild blackberries grow along the drive in the spring, beauty berries in the summer, and grapes throughout the property. A great off-grid stay with septic, well water, and solar or generated power. We are pet friendly - please contact us to ensure your pets meet our (minimal) requirements. Please clean up after your pet and an additional security deposit may be collected.Nestled halfway between Houston and Dallas, a cozy glamping retreat awaits! Enjoy a renovated 1962 Airstream trailer outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a kitchenette, shower, queen bed, and wifi. Relax and roast marshmallows around the fire pit, catch a glimpse of deer and other wildlife, or take a nature walk to spy the friendly horses and cattle in the surrounding meadows. 15 minutes from Madisonville and 25 minutes from Crockett. Guest Occupancy Agreement Signature is required. No parties. Cute Comfortable Camping

I recently rented the Airstream for one night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was more than amazing!! Emmelyn is so responsive and helpful, and the place itself is so cozy and nice. There was obviously alot of thought that went into it, with the inclusion of things we may have forgotteb like toohbrushes, etc. 11/10, I can’t recommend enough! Such a nice little get away from the city!

Relaxing and Secluded!

The property was fantastic and the hosts were super responsive and helpful! We unfortunately got stuck in the mud getting up the driveway (definitely try to go with a 4WD vehicle if you can) but Emmelyn was super fast to respond when we messaged and helped make sure we were taken care of. We opted to park at the end of the driveway by the road, but the area was super remote and we felt safe leaving our car there, and walking the 200 yards or so to the property. Once we were there we had a fantastic weekend relaxing with our new dog. The pool was refreshing, the AC in the Airstream was strong and the property was very relaxing. We’d definitely stay again (but we’d rent an SUV next time around 😂)

An Absolutely Charming Escape

Tranquility found!

This three day retreat was pretty close to perfect. Everything was as expected, exactly as advertised, plus there were some unexpected bonuses. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. It was pleasantly ever quieter than I had expected, especially at night. During the daytime, I heard /saw many different and unique birds in the trees around the property. In fact, I counted nearly a dozen unique species with the help of an app (I’m not normally a birder) and the terrific WiFi onsite! This is the perfect place for restful relaxation in a quiet & tranquil setting. I plan to return often!

It’s a perfect couple retreat, especially if you’re needing to wind down and just enjoy the serenity of nature and each other. Emmelyn reached out to us and checked on our first day. This place is where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Making a fire to make s’mores was fun; the hostess provided plenty of firewood. A new addition is the suspended swings near the fire pit, so much fun. This was my second time here and I’ll definitely return. It has everything you need to prepare your meals and enjoy a good cup of coffee. The place keeps getting better each time.

Great spot!

This little space is exactly what I was looking for. It was secluded and clean and warm inside (outside was chilly and rainy) so it was definitely cozy. Communication with the host was great and she let me have an early check-in time. I didn’t get to adventure much because of the weather but I will definitely be back so I’ll have another chance. There’s coffee/tea, a hot plate, bathroom amenities and a super cute, clean shower. If o could afford it I’d come once a month to detox from my city life. Its a wonderful place!!!

This classic Airstream is adorable and very comfortable. We extended a night for three nights stay. The hostess was quick to answer any questions. The bed is super comfy and the hot shower is amazing with great pressure. Everything you need is there, from cooking necessities to great tasting coffee. I’m definitely returning to enjoy the camp fire outside.
