Very beautiful view. The night sky was amazing! Could see the Milky Way. My kids loved it. The hosts were so kind and took the time to let the kids feed their goats. Great experience!

We chose this location due to the serenity and dark skies for stargazing, but what blew us away the most was the host's hospitality! I can't say enough about the personalized experience my family and I had. We were truly treated like members of the family. I am recommending this place to everyone and we will absolutely return.

One of the most beautiful nights of star seeing I've had in my life. On a night with clear skies this camp sight is one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. The hosts were delightful and brought a fire pit/s'mores and even let us rent an air mattress for the night. 10/10, definitely going to bring my family here for clear weather.

Amazing location! 10/10 would recommend! Really got to appreciate nature and the stars at night and the hosts were very friendly! The camp site has a nice sandpit to set up the tent, a trashcan, a small table and a fire pit.

We had a great time on Polly's property. Fenced in with a great hilltop for the kids to explore along with the goats and llama. The walkable bathrooms and the short firearms range onsite were an excellent bonus. The owners were great to work with, provided very good communication and let us borrow some telescopes for stargazing. Easy commute from Austin area. We will go again.

Great spot while road tripping. Easy to find, on a pretty piece of land, very nice and accommodating host. I was the only occupant but even if there were others, there is enough space to not feel cluttered. Would stay again.

This is a lovely, well kept, tidy property. We enjoyed our quick one night stay while passing through the area. The owners were really nice and friendly, they made us feel welcome, and were extremely accommodating of our late arrival time due to getting stuck in road construction and then getting caught behind slow moving Semi's later, on a two lane highway. Our group was self contained but they had recently installed two nice clean flush toilets with sinks. If I am ever in this part of Texas again I would make it a point to stay here.

The hilltop site had great views and plenty of shade. It was very quiet and peaceful! The provided table, sandy spot for a tent and metal fire pan were a very nice bonus!

Tom and Polly were great! So many great amenities for my stay for the eclipse - real toilets and sinks (all very clean), food truck, fire rings, even a telescope!
I was just sleeping in my car, so can't comment much on the camping experience, but there was plenty of room and I didn't have any issues. No marked sites, just pick a part of the field, first come, first serve. Folks pretty much ended up on the perimeter.

Awesome experience viewing the total eclipse from Polly's and Tom's land! We had a rented pop-up camper and set it up with other campers in a large field, with plenty of room to spread out. Tom went out of his way to make sure we were settled and helped fill up our water tank. Polly and Tom had really prepared for this event. They had nice portable bathrooms set up, prepared bonfires, made burgers for those who wanted it, and had homemade jam and crafts for sale. We walked up the hill to watch the eclipse, and it was beautiful and peaceful up there. They are starting to set up some unique abodes, including Snoopy's dog house and an old school bus, and we could tell that this will grow into a unique and special retreat in the future!

We came to Polly's for the April 2024 Eclipse and really enjoyed our time. Her family is so sweet and the property was perfect for the Eclipse. The wide open skies are incredible and we hope to come back in the future for any meteor showers or stargazing events. We had a fantastic time! 10/10 recommend!

Polly, Tom, Jimmy, and their dogs really made our trip out to hill country Texas special. Their hospitality is the one to beat, and the much-loved unassuming property is surprisingly memorable as among our travels throughout the country and abroad. We were in a campervan on a wildflower filled field that was very level. Polly takes every single thoughtful improvement up a notch (or ten) and she still loves teaching youth. We hope to return some day and see her long term vision for the property come to fruition. Google Fi LTE cell coverage in our campervan was good.

Polly and her family was amazing. Spot was wide open with plenty of space to stretch out plus they had food truck and flushing toilets. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay on Polly & Tom’s land. Polly is an excellent & available Host. The land is beautiful, plenty of open space so campsites are not too close. It was a quiet & peaceful stay. We were boondocking 3.5 days with another camper. There are open skies for star gazing at night & Solar power during the day. There are nice clean toilets at the site for those who are tent camping. There are fire rings available (seasonal). During our Eclipse stay there was a food truck available for 1 dinner & breakfast to purchase this I think was special. There were fresh eggs / jams /jellies available to purchase. Polly & Tom have many up grades coming which are taking shape.
We highly recommend their location.

We came here for the solar eclipse of 2024. Polly and Tom had a six acre field mowed and had set up telescopes around the field for visual star gazing. What was great is that they had set up a food truck with burgers and cold drinks for dinner and also had breakfast available. They also had 5G (T-Mobile) and use Venmo for payments for the food truck!

Poly, Jimmie and the family were AWESOME hosts. Very hospitable, caring for guests, rolled out the red carpet for everyone. Made it a super fun venue. Can't wait to back. Awesome bathrooms, great food, awesome homemade jams, beautiful venue, gorgeous TX hill country. What could be better?

Though it was cloudy when we were there you could tell it would have been a spectacular show of the heavens on a good night. Which is probably 99% of the time we just have that kind of luck sometimes. Polly and Munkey were super sweet and accommodating and there is plenty of room and solitude.

Hilltop Vista
Polly and her family were so accommodating to take us in late at night after our other host cancelled at the last minute. Not only that, but we had one of the quietest and most restful night's sleep on our road trip, in a pasture under clear skies. I would highly recommend this campsite to everyone!
