Founded in 2016, Hill Country Casitas was created, designed and built by husband-and-wife team of Ron and Mary. Long-time residents of the area, we welcome our guests to the land we love and our slice of the Texas Hill Country. Hill Country Casitas is a luxurious, 13-acre, hill country getaway in Dripping Springs, just 29 miles from Austin. Perched on a hill overlooking the Pedernales River Valley, Hill Country Casitas is close by to all of Dripping Springs’ many natural parks and wineries, breweries and distilleries. Conveniently located near all the many wedding venues in the Wedding Capital of Texas, the Casitas are newly constructed, individual houses with grills, kitchens, fireplaces and amazing views.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of The Ridge, the CeCe offers unobstructed views of the natural landscape. The Polly Ann is located at the end of The Row, right next to the pool/hot tub. Both offer the comfort and peacefulness of our one-bedroom Casitas with the convenience of being near all of the amenities you want! La Benita (ADA) is located right in the heart of our property and offers comfortable and convenient accessible accommodations. With close proximity to the pool/hot tub and the Pavilion, enjoy your stay with ease. All have covered porches with wood burning fireplaces and feel like your own private hideout on the ranch. Meander down the trail or just outside your door to the pool/hot tub deck or relax and bring the outdoors in.

Los Amigos

Located at the end of the Mesa, the Roberto, is our most private two-bedroom Casita, often referred to as "a cabin in the woods". Los Amigos, is the most centrally located of our two-bedroom Casitas and offers expansive Hill Country views! With 820 square feet of space and an expansive covered patio, these Casitas have an abundance of room for a family or friends traveling together. It is a short walk to the new Pool and Hot Tub to enjoy the Texas sun. The master bedroom includes a handcrafted king bed, while the guest bedroom offers two full-size beds. These Casitas contain a fully appointed master bath with double vanity and a guest bath with a walk-in shower. A queen sleeper sofa is provided in the living room for additional sleeping capacity. Cook family meals in your kitchen or relax and play a game by the wood burning fireplace on your front porch. Bring the dog too!

The Retreat

The Retreat combines the style of our studio Casitas with flexible space, often used for corporate meetings. Two comfortable queen beds accommodate up to four people with plenty of space for extended capacity to include a crib or queen air mattress (+$). Soaring pine ceilings with plenty of windows to let in the natural light, a fully stocked kitchen, and a spa bathroom with a walk-in shower offer everything a small group or family may need. Venture out to your front porch for expansive Hill Country views, or relax and take in the fresh air. This Casita also features a 70” flat screen TV for movies and family fun. Close to our pool/hot tub, outdoor Pavilion and fire pit as well!

The Whole Property at The Casitas includes all 11 Casitas sleeping 44 in 13 bedrooms with private baths: 2 Two Bedroom/2 Bath Casitas, 4 One Bedroom Casitas and 4 Studio Casitas; PLUS The Retreat with 2 queen beds or to use as indoor meeting space. The Casitas are spread out across 13 acres with breathtaking hill country views. A Pavilion is available for group gatherings and The Retreat is available for meetings and small functions. Additional fees and contracts apply. A 3 bedroom/2 bath Ranch House is also available to add on and sleeps 7 more.
