Campsite 7 was awesome! Easy access to hiking trails without have to drive anywhere. Bath was very clean. Shower was really nice. We will be back.

We had a great 2 night stay at Circle C Campground essentially inside the Sam Houston National Forrest. The park trails began 50 yrds from our campsite. The sites themselves were very large, and there are only 7 total campsites, so it felt very spacious. There was a lot for the kids to do and they roamed freely with no worries from mom or dad about them all weekend. Terry was very friendly and has spared no expense improving the property to allow campers to enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Super peaceful and the perfect place to take our family camping. We stayed at #5. It had a great view of the whole site and close to the walking trail. Terry has a great setup. There is a bathroom and shower area. Complete with hot water. A covered area that also includes picnic tables and grills. Terry came by everyday and checked on things, he even supplied all the wood we needed for fires. It was a super cold weekend and we could not have had a better experience. He has a couple tanks and we were able to feed the catfish, my girls loved it. He has campsites and a tiny house. Lots of fun, would definitely recommend and we will be back. It’s far enough outside of town to get away from the city lights, but close enough to drive if you need to go to the grocery store or grab some goodies.

I really enjoyed staying here. There was no cell service on my phone (AT&T), which meant it was quiet. Terry returned my text message in a decent amount of time when I had a question about the site. I really liked the fact that there was a stack of firewood at each site.

Camping at Circle had to be one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in Texas! Being from the PNW it brought a balance of forest and comfort! The outdoor shower was awesome and the campgrounds were very clean. Terry the host is also very nice and always willing to answer any questions you have!! I will be back soon.

Terry was very nice. Nice bathroom/shower/cooking area setup, much better than most camp sites. The lone star hiking trail also leads right behind the campsite and there is gate access to it. I would camp here again.

Though we were just looking for an overnight stay, we would definitely consider returning if we plan to camp outside Houston. Site already had chairs, and it was nice to have firewood. Was a bit disappointed the previous campers left trash including plastics and aluminum in the fire pit. Would definitely recommend proper tires and maybe four wheel drive if there’s a chance of rain, as we temporarily got stuck in the sandy mud.

This location is so quiet and has various accommodations that we utilized during our tent stay in JULY! Everything from directions to host communications and actual pictures is accurate. My family and I did tent camping as long as we could just for the fun of it and to disconnect and it was exactly what we needed. Will definitely return as we cool down through the months here in Texas, but will look into renting the cabin with A/C next time.

Terry was friendly, patient and understanding as I made my way into town, exhausted from a long workday and hours on the road.
The property was secluded and quiet, and the amenities were well-crafted, quality built, and meaningful. I loved it here, and will certainly try to find my way back!

Camping was easy for our family of six, which includes four children all aged seven and younger, at Circle C Campground. Even our dog, who typically doesn't enjoy camping, seemed to have a good time. We will definitely be returning!

Circle C CampGrounds was a convenient location for me to spend a night while hiking a short portion of the Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) The campground is spacious and peaceful, and just steps away from the trail. I enjoyed the comforts available such as the lighted pavilion with sockets for charging my phone, potable water for drinking, and a flush toilet and outdoor shower. This campground is a nice option for folks who want to backpack but are not quite reading to rough it overnight at a primitive campsite along the trail. I had the entire place to myself on a Tuesday night in April. I did not meet Terry in person but we had great communication via the app and by text. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

Circle C was a great place to camp, I was very comfortable, I love that he provided firewood free of charge, Terry was very accommodating and helpful. the hiking trails next to the campground were really nice. the campground itself was kept up very nice as well as the bathroom, shower area, it was nice that there was available hot water and electric in the common area if I needed it.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend camping at Circle C! On arrival we were met by the owner Terry who showed us to our spot (4) in the corner and stopped for a chat. Very nice guy! The campsite was great, all sites nicely spaced out, firewood and fire pits provided. We enjoyed a days hiking on the various trails which pass the camp gate (including the Lone Star Hiking Trail). There is a pavilion with toilet, shower and cooking area available for use, it was always clean and well stocked with the needed. All in all a great trip, we will be back for sure- thanks Terry!

We loved our stay on Terry's land! It was such a beautiful area and had great amenities. The toilets are clean and there is a sink and picnic table area you can cook and clean up in. We enjoyed the hiking trails that were accessible right from the site. Terry was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

I am a 58 year old woman and stayed in the cabin alone for 3 nights. I loved my time there. Terry provided everything one would need for a stay including coffee, creamer and sugar! . But, he also went above and beyond paying attention to the smallest of details to create an amazing experience including leaving a walking stick by the door as there is direct access to the Lone Star Trail. I enjoyed a fire in the pit including the wood and starter. Terry checked in with me twice to make sure I had everything I needed. The cabin is spotless and beautiful adding to the vacation experience. I can’t wait to go back and bring my grandkids! Thank you Terry

Terry's campsites were wonderful. The little lake is beautiful, and it is connected directly to the Lone Star Hiking trail. Fresh water, firewood provided, clean, and easy to find. Couldn't ask for more.
