You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a tent. We also have a nice running creek that you can take a cooling down soak in or just enjoy watching the many wild life that are present throughout the creek, fish , eels and turtles. It`s truly just a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever happens to suit your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and locals. Site 1 right down on the creek grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging BBQ. Site 2 is our newer spot work in progress your situated up the top away from the main creek access but still with your own small dirt path down to the creek. A smaller paver firepit still plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. Onsite we have our recently installed shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone`s convenience. Please take note of our extras available when confirming your booking.

Lovely quiet stay by the creek, we enjoyed watching the fish, eels and turtles. The fireplace was setup nice with seating, cooktop and solar lights. We got our 9 metre van in, just, with the turning down the side of the house, take it slow and you will get through and past the tree. Perfect stay if you want a camp all to yourself.

Perfect base to explore the area !
Loved our stay as did our dog. Took advantage of mad paws 🐾 with a dog sitter so close by. Thoroughly enjoyed the bird life, butterflies 🦋 and fish/turtle in the creek. We stayed on site 2 although site 1 is a better option for those with a large Motorhome like us. Loved the beautifully manicured grounds. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Great secluded spot to switch off!
Great little spot hidden away at the back of their property, even though you're on the property you really feel like you're miles away from anywhere. Super quiet and incredible star gazing at night. Fire pit area was awesome with some solar lights for when it got dark, really adding to the atmosphere. Our little lad enjoyed the creek and it was super freshening to dip into once we'd pack up the next morning before we hit the road. He also loved feeding the fish which was a really nice touch that some fish food was provided. We took our dog too and she enjoyed lounging around on the grass and around the fire at night. We opted for firewood to save us some hassle on the way there and the mix of kindling & logs was very generous- great value if you don't have means to prep your own. We'll 100% be back as we're Cairns locals so was great to find this gem to unwind and switch off close to home.

Site 2 Back Tree Shelter Area
There were so many bugs! We couldn’t keep any of our lights on, even our orange lights as there were swarms of bugs including horse flies, we had bugs flying around in our rooftop tent after opening the fly for 5 seconds. The creek site 2 wasn’t flat at all so we spend 30 minutes trying to find a flat spot, in the end we used maxtraxs under the wheel and were still not level. We had 2 nights booked and ended up leaving after 1. We booked through Hipcamp and it says showers available, there are no showers and the toilet was a porti potti which didn’t appear to have chemicals in it, sitting in the dirt. The host was super lovely but unfortunately we won’t go back.

What a magical spot. Plenty of space. Beautiful river surounding our camp site to swim in. My daughter loved feeding the fish, spotting eels and turtles. Lovely thoughtful extra, lights, table, chairs and camp fire cooking. Easy distance to Josephine falls, Goldren hole and Babinda boulders. My massage was totally amazing thank you. We will definitely be back.

Very private and well kept camping spot. The creek wraps around the grassy area and is very refreshing. The owners have put a lot of thought into the site, we loved our stay! Would definitely come back. Thank you!
