Camping under the stars
Absolutely loved the peace & quiet of this site. You get to see all the stars overhead while listening to the sounds of the bush. Great hike/4WD track through the property. Chris, the host, was also very welcoming kind but not intrusive which made it feel like I could have been in a national park not on someone’s land. Beautiful property! Highly recommend 👍🏼

Nice secluded spot atop a hill, big enough to fit multiple vehicles and tents, with plenty of flat areas. Very short drive into Dayboro for any supplies and great for day trips into d'aguilar national park. If your priority is to avoid being camped up next to other random people like many national park sites, this place is good to go.

Human Batteries.... Recharged!
We stayed at Camp 6. Wow... Just Wow. Located at the bottom of the valley, we were camped right next to a small creek that due to recent rains had some water running through, but is probably dry most of the time. You can't camp here with a normal car, 4x4 a must and a nice easy drive even with the trailer. Overall, this was a new experience for us, usually going to beaches and locations with big views. Here, you are surrounded by trees and nature, and the tranquility of it was sublime. Thank you Deb and Chris for what all of us MUST describe as our BEST CAMPING EXPERIENCE EVER! ❤️🏕 ❤️

Peaceful and challenging 4 stars
Overall it was a great experience, very peaceful, the site was spacious and clean, Deb was a very pleasant and helpful host, and it's nice and close to Brisbane. There are no amenities and for the price I thought a toilet would be nice. I would normally just dig a hole as a toilet, but you aren't allowed here because it's a catchment. The track into the camp site is a bit tricky. I reccomend a proper 4x4 and have your wits about you especially if it's a bit wet. I was towing an off road camper trailer behind a 4x4 in the dry and while it wasn't hard it definitely got the pulse up a bit. If you are looking for a bit of peaceful bush close to the city and are ok with a challanging drive and don't mind carrying out your used dinner it's a fantastic option. Thanks Deb, we enjoyed our stay. 4 star

The hosts (Deb) were super helpful and contactable. The campsite was an oasis nestled in the trees. Site 3 was flat, secluded, clean and had ample space. The property was quiet and well signed. Met a few horses on our travels too! Would definitely recommend!

Real bush camping
What a great spot! Little tricky getting to the camp site while towing the camper, but well worth it! Beautiful, relaxing bush setting. Camp sites are well spread out and the no parties rule means it’s nice and quiet and you feel like you are the only ones there. Friendly, welcoming hosts and felt very welcome.

We enjoyed our stay here, secluded little site surrounded by trees. Site is in a single zone above the other sites on a hill. This site is long and narrow, but still enough room at the end to have 6x3 gazebo across the site. Flat ground but rocky and very hard, bring good strong tent pegs! Hosts have a toilet tent set up (byo loo) for use which is a lovely gesture. Site gets equal amounts of sun and shade at this time. The 4WD track was fun, BIG steep climbs up and down the hills around the track. Very peaceful place, lots of big lizards! If you’re looking for some where that feels a million miles but still close to town this is it!

Simple little bush camp. Isolated in some lovely bush. Great communication from Chris and was excellent to have the bag of wood dropped off before arrival. We took our dogs and they had as good a time as us. Definitely recommend it.

So close to home
A wet start to this trip, driving on dirt tracks in the dark to make it to the site. Thank you to Chris and Deb for putting up direction signs to help me find the site. Woke up next morning to see I was surrounded by hills and the bush. Bliss. The site was flat and of a good size with a large firepit. Kudos for the shower tent set up near the site as well. I had a glimpse by torchlight the night I arrived of the small watercourse at the edge of the site. But seeing it in daylight revealed the interesting rocks it contained. I did have a bit of a challenge driving up the steep track when I left as the rain had turned the dirt into slippery mud. But with determination and a high clearance, diesel 4WD I made it. On my second try. At one point during my drive to leave the property I had to stop and admire the view of the township of Dayboro. Mental note to arrive in the daytime next time. Thank you Chris and Deb for sharing your property with us. I will certainly visit you again.

Great spot that is not too far away
It's not far but feels like a million miles away. This is a great spot for a few nights under the stars and disconnecting. Keep in mind that the campsite is in a water catchment so bring a portaloo with you and help keep the campsite clean. Chris is a fantastic host, he will keep in touch as needed and is not far if you need a hand. Sites 5 + 6 are close-ish so if you want a little more privacy then choose site 6. Overall, it's a great spot without a massive drive. Chris & Deb are awesome hosts and you will enjoy a relaxing time out at this spot.
