LeJackz has a quiet forest feeling and is secluded. LeJackz runs stud Bazadais cattle on the property. There is a natural spring and rock pools in Elva's creek, but is not running at the moment. At Le Jackz you come to relax and unwind and allow nature to be your therapist. The property is located near Maclagan, a small town situated at the foothills of Bunya Mountains National Park. The majestic Bunya Mountains were formed 30 million years ago and thought to be the remains of an old volcano. The national park features both wet and dry rainforests, grasslands and open bush supporting a diverse range of plant and animal species. From December to March, Bunya pine trees drop cones containing edible seeds known as Bunya nuts. For those keen to do a bit of site-seeing, there is an abundance of nature walks, cycling, historical tours in Toowoomba and Dalby. NOTE: dry weather access only. Plan B can be Quinalow caravan park if need be.

Great little hideaway. You can tune out from the outside world or climb the hill to make a call or send a message. A quick one nighter for us as we passed through, will definitely be back for a longer stay

What a beautiful spot to camp. So quiet and two families booked out both sites so very private . Relaxing and the view from the hill is stunning . Especially at sunset. Definitely going back. Will be great once the new toilet is done too. Even had a lovely visit from the farm dogs as we left. Thanks Kahn

Peace and quiet

If you want peace and quiet in the shade of a huge couple of trees, this site is for you. The odd message gets out on the mobile, but that's it. Kahn is a friendly guy and looking to keep the improvements coming.

Beautiful spot to stay at. Directions were clear enough to easily find where it was. It rained heavily during my stay and ended up needing the owner to tow my car out which he was more than happy to do. Had a great time.

Was a lovely spot, perfect to relax and enjoy nature! Booked both sites, but wouldn't really need to next time. Hosts were lovely, and there was a picnic table on top of the hill next to the camp which had amazing views!!

BEST CAMP SPOT!!

We loved this place! We originally booked as a base to explore the Bunya Mountains but the property is truly what made our long weekend great. This spot ticked all the majors for us, seclusion, epic views, running creek, friendly hosts & room to explore the property. Without a doubt the best hipcamp we have been to! Would return again and again!

Peaceful spot with beautiful views

We loved it and would definitely go back again. The other camp site is about 50 metres away so it still feels really private. The current drop toilet was a bit scary to use because of a few big resident spiders!. Once the toilet/ shower block is finished close by, it'll be absolutely perfect all round. Walk/ drive around the property is recommended.

Pretty nice bush camp!

It was a beautiful private camp, the place seemed massive. For under 20 bucks you can’t go wrong! I’m sure there was cool bits of the property that are known only to the owner. I’ve been on places like that before and the owner listed their fav spots:) I loved the place! The dingoes howling scared my woman and that’s fair, we’d just watched the azaria chamberlain movie. Pretty nice to sleep on such a beautiful farm so close to the bunyas. Thanks for the chance to stay on your block!

Totally underrated !! Kahn's property is an absolute GEM. The pictures certainly do not do it justice. We booked both sites and will certainly be coming back. Kahn even gifted us some amazing fresh produce from the farm that was just sensational.

i had an incredible weekend, it was a beautiful little spot. the cows weren’t shy. incredible night admiring the full moon with a little campfire. such a kind and accommodating host, will definitely be booking another weekend.

Both sites booked!

I booked both sites and it was amazing! So nice to be totally secluded and just enjoy the property. Kahn was a great host - we caught him in the cattle yards on our way back from a day trip and he was so lovely, even taking time out of his day and offering to show us where to find the creek. There are two sites on a cul-de-sac style patch of land that sit about 50m away from each other. But we’ll definitely be booking again soon and maybe even return with a group of friends :)

Always a winner

This was our second camp here and it was just a good if not better. This time we took our sister and Two young children on their first camp trip. The sites are easy to set up, and pack down from with minimal dirt/mud. The grass was lush and beautiful to camp on. The resident cows and calves were cautiously friendly and as cute as ever. Highly recommend this camp and booking both sites for added privacy and relaxation vibes. If it has rained a lot ask Khan directions to the secret creek…hidden gem.

Old Oak Tree

A moo-ving big sky experience!

Kahn has selected two awesome sites on his property. We booked Old Oak Tree and Old Fig Tree for an extended group but that fell through so we only used Old Oak Tree (a magnificent Silky Oak). The two sites are about 150m apart but are arranged so separate groups of respectful campers could be onsite and wouldn't bother each other. The cows came and checked us out but we obviously passed the test because they just sat down and chilled out with us. Wallabies, Paddy Melons and birdlife all around. I hope the Whip Bird finds a mate soon! Kahn is working on some facilities for tent campers but if you're already self sufficient then you won't need them. We will be back! thanks Kahn!

Peaceful camping

The camping location was beautiful and so peaceful. The only issue was the flies due to the cow patties around the camp site and the bucket/toilet. It did look like they were in the process of building a small building that looked like a toilet block. I would recommend adding another camp site on the hill to the south that overlooks the valley. Amazing views from that hill. Would come back again for sure.
