Beautiful spot on the Mary river, lovely mowed paddocks, nice open spaces out sites. A little road noise from the highway but didn't take away from the experience. Would book again

Blue Gums River Retreat
Another amazing weekend away with our group of people and dogs. Facilities were spotless and cleaned daily. The grass was like lawn, no bindies or prickles. Access to the river tor the kayaks was very good . Owner Tracey popped down to see is and have a chat which made us feel very welcome. We love this place !

Blue Gums River Retreat
Beautiful huge sites, (we were in site #4), not crowded together, with plenty of room for 2 caravans and a large gazebo for the teens to swag under :)
Felt like I had my own home away from home to enjoy by the river, with easy access to the jetty/pontoon for swimming and kayak launching.
Fire pits were large enough to fit our 3 camp ovens in for cooking, as well as enjoying the flames in the other side, to sit by.
Hosts were very pleasant, dropped off our pre-ordered firewood just after we arrived and offered further assistance if required. Only saw them again when they came to clean the portable toilet each day.
This hipcamp has been on my to-stay list of favourites for ages and we were very happy with it - we will definitely be back!

This place is the absolute BEST!!!!! Big open spaces, fishing, swimming & relaxing... We have been here twice now and we love it. We'd stay for a month if life would allow it.

Blue Gums River Retreat
We had the best time at Blue Gums River Retreat. Tracey was so friendly and accommodating. The campsite is situated alongside the river which made for a beautiful scenery. It was also very refreshing to swim in the fresh water river. We will definitely come back! Loved it!!

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places to camp right on the Mary River the hosts were lovely people the facilities and grounds were clean and well maintained, we took our boat and water skied from sun up to sundown with family and friends there is plenty of room for vans tents boats and campfires I highly recommend Bluegum river park as a destination thanks for having us Tracey and you will definitely see us again Regards David

Fabulous
The selfish person in me wants to give a bad review. You see if I do maybe I'll keep paradise to myself. But in all honesty everybody should enjoy this offering.
Grounds are beautifully maintained; access to river great and the space is big enough for you not to feel crowded.
Thank you Tracy and Rod. Your hospitality is ever present in your place. Your communicating is well received and your response friendly.
Needless to say this will be a regular camping spot for me, the smalls and the all fours.

Camping with our fur baby.
The site at blue gums retreat was perfect. The limited sites were large with space for groups. The fur babies from all campers were well behaved. Great views of the river. Tracey was a friendly host.
