Las Puertas de San Pedro is a private estate with coffee, cocoa, and more crops, located in the beautiful Tetuán 3 neighborhood, near Jayuya, a place full of breathtaking landscapes and views. Just a few minutes away, you will find the Globo Aerostático de Jayuya y sus Ziplines (Aerostaic's Jayuya Balloon and Ziplines), as well as rivers, restaurants, and other tourist attractions. Located at Finca Las Puertas De San Pedro, a working coffee farm in the mountains of Utuado, Puerto Rico, Los Pinos Camping Site is ideal for tent campers, car campers, and van campers seeking mountain views, fresh air, and a peaceful rural experience. 🌿 Experience a Coffee Farm Wake up surrounded by coffee trees, birdsong, and beautiful mountain scenery. Guests may explore designated farm roads and trails at their own risk while enjoying the unique atmosphere of a working coffee farm. Looking for things to do during your stay? Ask us about nearby tours, coffee experiences, hiking opportunities, local attractions, and other activities available in the Utuado and Jayuya area. Mountain roads can be narrow and winding, so daytime arrival is strongly recommended. ⚠️ Please Read Before Booking This is a rural mountain property. Expect insects, wildlife, changing weather, and natural sounds. Rain is common in the mountains and is not considered grounds for refunds. Guests must bring all camping equipment, bedding, cooking supplies, food, lighting, and personal gear. No potable water, electricity, hookups, picnic tables, or trash service are provided. Pack in, pack out. 📍 Important Note Los Pinos Camping Site is NOT the campsite with the large rock and wooden bench frequently featured on our social media. The summit is a wide, level space at the very top of the mountain, featuring open 360° views, big skies, and a constant mountain breeze. This is a quiet, off-grid environment intended for guests seeking a slow, simple, and nature-focused experience. Please read carefully before booking: This site is strictly for self-contained vehicles only (overland rigs, vans, or properly equipped compact campers). You must have your own bathroom solution, water, and power. 🚫 Not suitable for: - Regular cars without camping setup - Guests planning to sleep in ground tents as their main accommodation - Anyone expecting amenities like bathrooms, water, or electricity Looking for amenities? If you need a site with bathroom access and water, please check other listings within this same Hipcamp profile or message us before booking. If your setup does not meet these requirements, please do not book. This helps avoid cancellations and ensures a better experience for everyone. Additional tents are only allowed if they are part of a vehicle-based setup. You will be staying within an active coffee farm, which makes this an agrotourism experience rather than a traditional campsite. You may explore designated areas at your own risk and visit nearby attractions such as Hacienda La Guadalupe, Cerro Morales, and other local points of interest. Restricted areas: The houses Marsellesa and Limaní are private and not included in this reservation. Access to those areas is strictly prohibited. This is a remote, minimalist, fully off-grid site (no hookups, no facilities). It is ideal for experienced campers who value privacy, silence, and self-sufficiency. If you enjoy exploring, bring your bicycle and ride through the scenic roads of Barrio Tetuán 3, known for its peaceful rural landscape. Nearby experiences: Hacienda La Guadalupe – Coffee tour (approx. 2 min) Amazar – Breadfruit processing (approx. 15 min) Finca Vista Bella / Vinos de Puerto Rico – Vineyard (approx. 30 min) Note: All external experiences must be booked directly with each provider. Los Pinos Mountain View Camp
Fue muy relajante, los baños estaban limpios y el lavamanos también. Tampoco nos quedamos nunca sin papel o jabón de manos, me encantó. También me encantó la fogata, fue mi parte favorita del campamento. 10/10. Llegar es más fácil de lo que parece.

Nos encantó este sitio, fue un lugar para desconectar. Jesus y Madelyn estuvieron pendientes en todo momento y dieron un servicio al 100%. El terreno es gigante para escoger donde quieres acampar, por las noche estuvo riquisimo con el frio y los sonidos de la naturaleza. La fogata estuvo super también. 10/10.

Los Pinos Mountain View Camp
Las Puertas de San Pedro nos regaló un amanecer hermoso, pese a que estaba nublado. Sus anfitriones, Madelyn y Jesús, se mantuvieron comunicados todo el tiempo con nosotros para asegurarse de que llegáramos bien y la pasáramos chévere. Nos permitieron recorrer la finca y Madelyn fue muy generosa al regalarnos hijitos de algunas de sus plantas medicinales. La vista desde la cima de Las Puertas de San Pedro es preciosa.

We loved this campsite so much. The views are absolutely gorgeous and had no trouble getting there with a 2wd low clearance car. Hosts are incredible nice and gave us an impromptu tour of their beautiful and impressive coffee farm.

This is a beautiful place in Utuado, Puerto Rico. The view from this mountain top is extraordinary. From the middle of the island, you can see all the coastline it’s a beautiful site. The temperature in the morning was 62° and that is wonderful. This was for the area of the camping.

The tent site was beautiful, and the host friendly and helpful with good directions. Be aware that this spot is high and exposed to nearby houses and roads where people sometimes drive play music as loudly as possible when they are partying, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

Since the beginning it was magical. Jesus and Madelyn welcomed us and gave us a full tour of their coffee plantations and other camping areas. Later, Jesus followed us toward our campsite to ensure that we would arrived well. He even gave us another site to choose since our’s was muddy. Additionally, they were very responsive to our messages, they even texted us a couple of times during our stay to ensure we were fine. We forgot dish soap and they helped us. Something we will always be very grateful for. From the beginning of the campsite, everything was amazing. The views were stunning. Not many campsites have these views. This one is a winner. Lots of spacious terrain and amazing views. And it was cold which was perfect. Lots of stars to see. This has been the best campsite Ive ever been too. Not many campsites are this perfect… Trust me.

Excelente espacio para acampar. Super privado, vista increíble. Por la noche baja la temperatura como en casi todo el centro de PR y se disfruta mucho tambien. Jesus super atento estuve pendiente a que no nos hiciera falta nada. Regresamos pronto !

Despedimos un año 2021 y recibimos el 2022 mi novio, mis 2 hij@s y yo en la Finca Las Puertas de San Pedro, un experiencia espectacular no hay palabras para describir este lugar tan hermoso, con un paisaje maravilloso de día y de noche. Puedes apreciar parte de la costa norte, el lugar esta bien cuidado y la atención muy buena de parte de sus dueño. Recomendado 100%

Súper súper encantado... Jesus y su esposa fueron muy amables, muy atentos desde que me comuniqué con el hasta que me acomode en el spot. Pasamos una experiencia única, la neblina nos tenia abrazado y estaba bn fresco allá arriba. Todo fue bonito a favor del clima en Las Puertas de San Pedro yo vuelvo a visitarlos y lo recomiendo al 100 ✨

Jesús y Madelyn fueron muy amables y atentos, incluso nos buscaron cuando nos perdimos al llegar. El spot ofrece una experiencia única para disfrutar la naturaleza desde la altura y asimismo cuenta con facilidades más que cómodas para aseo personal. They also share an exquisite knowledge about surrounding plantlife, which anyone would enjoy hearing about. I’d be delighted to visit again.
