Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

We sit on about 2 acres between Millersville University and the Susquehanna River. With farmland on 2 sides of the property and a quiet lane on a third, it is an excellent place to unwind and enjoy the open sky. This is an ideal location for families and outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, rock climbing, cycling, caving and paddling. The property is set up with a fire ring and braai for cooking over wood, outdoor shower, and toilet.Kommetjie is the name of our hometown during our year in South Africa. It means little bowl, and it was refreshing to our souls. Now on a little hill in Farm Country, we hope you find just that. Pitch a tent in the open field, sleep under the stars, or park your RV! You can enjoy breathing the fresh air, watching the garden grow, and playing outside! We are about 15 minutes from the Safe Harbor climbing areas, 15-30 minutes from multiple hiking areas, and 10 minutes from the Susquehanna River.
