Our unique location is close to Bend city limits and right next to Horse Ridge Mountain Biking Trails. BLM land surrounds the area, and is even accessible from the upper part of our property. Come out and enjoy the high desert and expore the juniper forest. We have tent camping sites and one tipi. We are currently in the process of still building out our glamping pods. However in the mean time you can currently book a stay at thoses sites for tent camping. The tent sites offer a comfortable setting for your tent in the sandy dirt. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire pit. We have a small community area! There you will find a mini outdoor kitchen with a blackstone and a bbq. (We have no water on-site) This is also where the trash bins are located. There is also a basketball hoop, yoga deck, and pull up /hanging bars. Next to the community area is where you will also find the bathroom, which is a clean porta potty. Come enjoy wandering the juniper forest and sage brush in Central Oregon’s high desert. We are next to 100’s of acres of BLM land, including the Horse Ridge Mountain Biking Trail System. There is hiking, biking, horse trails and ATV trails all nearby. Our open skies are great for daydreaming and stargazing. Come see how bright the milky way is out here Sage Ridge. Sage Ridge is only 15 miles east of Bend right off of Hwy 20.

Our unique tipi has been hand painted by us is now available to book. Inside we can provide two twin mattress pads, please send us a message to let us know if you would like to use them. Bedding is NOT included. There is a small table for your use as well. This site also includes a picnic table and an outside fire pit. There is also some mini fairy lights inside for your use as well. You are more than welcome to bring your own propane fire pit for use in the tipi. We request no wood burning fires inside at this time. There are porta potties near the community area. Enjoy wandering the juniper desert on hundreds of acres of BLM land or stargazing under our dark skies. CAUTION: Stay on developed road/ parking spots! This site is located centrally on the property, closest to the bathroom and community area. It is one of the larger developed sites with plenty of options on where to pitch a tent or invite more to join you. Don't forget to bring your hammock, there are a couple trees that have offer the perfect set up. There are porta potties near the community area. Fantastic site!! Great community area for people to gather and bbq or shoot some hoops or get some exercise on. Hosts are warm and inviting and just lovely people. Firewood for sale as well with a Venmo option to pay. Bring your own shade. No water on site. Close to lots of hikes and trails. Definitely stay again. The owners have really thought this place out. Great for stargazing

Peaceful High Desert Tipi Camping

Tipi on Coyote Hill

Beautiful high desert, cool tipi glamping, spacious picnic table, thoughtful lighting, peaceful sleeping under a big sky of stars. Very responsive property owners. I think I was the only one staying there and it looks fairly newly created… I enjoyed the lighted paths which helped with a nighttime dog walk. I arrived late after a concert in Bend but it was easy to find my spot. This tipi site would be great for a small group of friends or a family, although it fit just me and my dog as well. The tipi inside is quite spacious inside. Although there were 2 twin mats and a twin cot, I used the cot for my belongings and put my queen size air mattress on top of the mats for the perfect glamping restful sleep. Could have easily fit several more sleeping mats. The owners provide a cooking stove/hot plat and grill. (Although I was kind of confused as to where the ‘community kitchen’ was or perhaps I envisioned something else. But what I might do if I were stay there again is come prepared with my proper camping kitchen as there are not things there for you to use for cooking with and take over one of those tables for that. I figure if you are spending more money to stay in a tipi you might as well have access to a good glamping kitchen :) Then you still have the big table for hanging out. I’d definitely bring a pop up tent to go over it for morning shade. I recommend staying here

We loved camping on Sandy and Tim’s land. We would recommend this campsite if you are looking for high desert camping. You will find a great spot here. The area was well laid out, with sites generously spaced out. It also had a nice communal area. Having a clean portapotty was great, and we appreciated the handwashing station. It was amazing to be within 30 minutes of Bend.

Camping here was an absolute delight. The owners have thoughtfully designed and built the site. Each camp site is set up beautifully. And the community area was amazing. They sell firewood (letting you lay via Venmo), have a community grill and basketball hoop and exercise platform. This place really blew me away.

Camping at Sandy and Tim’s place was a wonderful experience! The communal area, wood bundles for sale, and whole environment was such a treat. We’d definitely make a return trip!
