Today you can stay on the abandoned property and explore what remains. All the equipment is already set up on the perfect site. Each campsite is strategically placed in a secluded area to give you a truly unique, private and worry free camping experience.

Located on the edge of a pine grove, this site has a beautiful view of the Catskill Mountains. Plenty of space to have family and friends spread out, pop up tents and join on the adventure. Stay at and explore what was the site of The Catskill Game Farm, America's first and largest privately owned zoo. The tent is tucked into 203 mountainside acres with 100+ buildings and old animal shelters, 3.5 miles of paved pathways and remnants of the abandoned zoo still in tact. The site includes a large canvas tent with a queen size memory foam, fire-pit, picnic table, and we provide a jug of water. Please bring your own drinking water and bedding as well as camping gear for any other tents you want to set up at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase and if you are bringing your own firewood it must be from within 50 miles of the site according to New York State Law. Please note: the interior stove that is seen in photos is no longer in the site due to past guests.
