(19)
Cabin · Sleeps 4
The cozy Farmhand Cabin overlooking the stream is secluded among the willow trees in the lower pasture of a working livestock farm. A tractor path leads from the road to the cabin.  The cabin is a short walk to the dairy barn, farmhouse and farm kitchen.  Horses, goats, sheep, cattle and chickens wake you to an incredible farm and food experience.  The farm is located on a quiet country road.   The one-room cabin is 10 feet by 11 feet and accommodates up to two adults and two small children. To accommodate additional persons (up to two and no more), bring your own tent, bedding and towels.  There are two wide single beds. Bedding, down comforters, towels for two persons are included. The Cabin has electricity and is equipped with an electric fan/heater.  It includes a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven.  For outdoor cooking, there is a fire pit with a grill.   Everything you need for fire pit cooking, including pans, utensils.  Bring your own wood and charcoal.  Dishes, silverware, coffee and tea are included but most guests bring paper plates, etc. The Cabin has an outdoor wash sink attached to the cabin.  The hot water propane shower and compost toilet are 20 feet from the cabin.  Meat and eggs, milk, granola, soup and pot pies may be available for purchase from the farm.  Meals, prepared with the farm's meat, eggs, dairy and produce, with advance notice, can be delivered to the cabin.  $65 per person for five-course dinner.  $45 person for three-course dinner. Picnic lunch - $25 person.  Grazing Board is $25 person. Enjoy the farm's programs and activities such as Tours and Chores, Farmer for a Day and other workshops.  Advance notice needed for meals and programs. We cannot provide farm programs or picnic lunches on Saturdays or Thursdays from the end of May to the mid October. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:   Two cats are regular visitors to the cabin.  Sometimes there are horses and goats in the cabin pasture.  The farm is home to many dogs. If you are allergic or uncomfortable with cats, dogs, livestock or horses, the cabin is NOT for you. If you need a break from the chaos and want to wake up to horses grazing by your cabin window, if you want to sit on the cabin's porch and listen to the murmur of the stream and the bleating and lowing of sheep and cows, if you want to cuddle a lamb or pet a goat, if you want to splash in spring-fed streams and ponds and stroll through wooded pastures and wildflower meadows, if you want to be where life is simple and every breath is a reminder that there is an abundance of beauty and magic still in the world, this cabin is for YOU.
