Winegrove is our home base for our working beef cattle properties which includes our small hardwood timber mill. Winegrove consists of 656 acres. The three Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 400m apart and as much as 600m. P1 is very open with amazing views and P2 and P3 also have great views but are more sheltered and private. Book one or all three and explore the property. Note: Splinters Lookout P1 and Fig Tree Lookout P2 are out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Firewood for sale by the bag via extras or at homestead. Please note firewood cannot be delivered on short notice.

This was a lovely site, Larissa had put effort into the site with a hammock and signage to look outs and viewing spaces, our only issue was the amount of cow manure, to be fair we booked last minute and Larissa did let us know they hadn’t had time to clean the site of the cow manure and gave us the option to camp at P3.

Camp site was amazing with a beautiful view over the Clarence River. It was private, but nice and open with easy access. The camp set up with big logs, fire pit and a cute hanging chair in nearby tree. Larissa (host) was super helpful. Would highly recommend.

This was by far our favourite camping spot on our whole trip. Larissa was so helpful. The view from the camping spot was magnificent and peaceful. We will highly recommend this spot to everyone and hopefully return someone soon

Beautiful river campsite

What a lovely part of the river. We camped at P3, the nearest spot to the water and it's a great campsite, with lovely views, 2 large flat spaces and good shade in the heat from a decent sized fig tree. Easy 2WD access to the site and likewise to the small but lovely river swimming beach.

Peace and tranquility

We loved our stay at winegrove. It was quiet,spacious and private with nothing but the cows for company. Relaxing by the river under the shade of the trees was awesome. Our hosts left a sup and canoe for our use on the beautiful river. Amazing place to camp .....we will be back to explore more of the camp sites available

Very private and quiet, generous space for camp set up with great walks to explore surrounds. Highly recommend this magic spot. Larissa is extremely informative with weather conditions and very friendly to communicate with.

Quiet with magic view.

Easy access with our off road caravan to a magic quiet knoll overlooking the Clarence River with incredible views. Large grass area with access to long walks, great to take the dogs and family. A decent hike to the river so for us a great cooler weather location when you don't want to be in the water all the time.

We have had a beautiful weekend camping. It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. It was an amazing view over the river. Sitting by the fire at night, waking up to lots of fog, and the sun breaking through, made it so magic. There was another camper near by, but far enough we couldn’t see or hear them. We were so thankful, for their help, when our car battery was flat! So great to have someone close enough! We absolutely recommend this place for future campers! Our host was so helpful and super friendly! Thank you so much letting us stay on your beautiful farm!!!

We loved camping at Larissa’s farm - the kids swam all day in the river and loved exploring the land. We found the walk down to the river easy and perfect sandy area for swimming and launching kayaks etc. Larissa is a delightful host and nothing is too much trouble.

Very nice spot to swim in the river with a beautiful access point, we watched a spectacular sunset from the water. It was fun for the dogs too, they had a blast cooling off and playing in the water.

Camping with a view

If your looking for a spot that feels nice and remote it doesn’t get much better then this, Larissa is more then helpful with anything you need and the property is beautiful. The walk down to the Clarence river isn’t too bad and there’s a few bass if your flicking in the right spots. Thank you again Larissa

Awesome spot!

What a great experience - Amazing views in every direction - very private with nothing to bother you but a few curious cows. Access down to the sandy riverbank was easy and the dogs had an amazing time off lead swimming and wrestling in the sand. The River was a great spot to cool off in the afternoon. Loved every minute!!

Magic on the Clarence

Beautiful camp site overlooking the Clarence, all grass with plenty of room as you're the only one's there. Beach area to launch kayaks. Definitely need a 4WD to access, mainly if damp or raining for one short section just before camp site. Definitely be back.

Fantastic property and fantastic host to match! Ample space and privacy with a view of the river. River itself was great for swimming and kayaking. We enjoyed the scenery and exploring the property. Total Privacy on the River

Amazing views and total privacy! We stayed for two nights with our family and just completely chilled out and relaxed being totally immersed in nature. Bird watching was incredible and made use of the canoe to paddle up the river and float back along the current. Would love to come back again! Thanks Larissa for a fabulous camping experience 😊

A delightful stay in nature

This place was a delight to camp at. My lover and I had a wonderful time together, and it felt like we had the privacy and solitude in nature we were craving. It was easy to find, the signage was clear and easy to follow, and the land itself is gorgeous. Thanks so much! Will be back for sure.
