Discover the beauty of Stone House Lodge nestled between northern New Mexico’s most popular recreation areas, El Vado and Heron Lake State Parks. Come and relax in this beautiful, fun and friendly environment. We are surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers in a wooded setting. We have five unique rustic cabins, each with their own special features. The cabins have been recently renovated and have electric and hot water. Our RV sites are spacious long level pull-throughs and have access to water, septic and electricity. Our premium RV spaces are secluded with mountain views. Community showers and restrooms available. Our Dry Camp Sites are secluded and peaceful with mountain and lake views. Our campsite amenities include Restaurant and Bar with music and dancing on Saturday. The Convenience Store features a fishing tackle shop, wood, ice, snacks and necessities. Guests will enjoy a large covered pavilion with grills, picnic tables, grill/fire pits, bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. We are a 2.5 hour drive from Albuquerque located just 3 miles past Heron Lake off of HWY 95.

We loved how it was tucked away in the mountains. Tons of wildlife! We saw deer, turkeys, HUGE jack rabbits and also heard elk. The staff was VERY nice and the food at the café was also very good. We would definitely stay here again next time were in the area.

This place could be awesome. The location is spectacular unfortunately we overlooked an abandoned double wide. We were up on the hill behind the cafe/store. Roberta is lovely, her cafe is nice. The staff is great. Some of outbuildings are in disrepair and there Is a strong smell from the other end of campground near the big green tanks. The deer came to visit every morning and the song birds were lovely

This was a great site! We arrived late due to brake electrical issues and are grateful to Mike, who suggested a great (and safe) route to get things fixed. This location was beautiful! We didn’t get to visit the cafe on the property but heard its a great spot. Highly recommend, wish we could have paused a bit longer! ✨

Site was not level as advertised- site was in fact sloping which made leveling not impossible but a bit difficult. Male host was courteous female host was not very welcoming.

Stone House Lodge RV 30 AMP
The Stone House Lodge has amazing views of El Vado Lake and great access to both El Vado and Heron lakes. Roberta is a great camp host and provides everything you need to RV camp with complete amenities and a small store. We will definitely consider keeping our RV at Stone House Lodge for the season next year.
