The site was quite lovely. The unit was very clean & nicely appointed.
Hoever, the fold out sofa bed would not fully open no matter what we tried.
The listing mentions that wi-fi there is spotty. OK. But it unavailable the entire time, while the host's private Wi-Fi was clearly visible with very strong signal the entire time.
Since we had no way of communicating we were unable to contact the host and ask if there was perhaps some trick to opening the sofa. Next morning we literally picked the sofa up turned it upside down to see if we could fix it, but no go. Since we had literally no sleep the previous night and no prospect of some the next we had to end our stay. (Originally booked two nights.)
Upon leaving we tried to follow the directions for locking up the unit. One end consists of two large metal storage container doors which would not close properly no matter how hard we tried and we tried very hard. Maybe some settling-the front door has to be lifted to close properly. But couldn't communicate.
We left at about 11:00 a.m. - the regular checkout time. When back in range I contacted the host to let her know we had left. Later that day I contacted her again and gave a full accounting of the issues we had. She said she would look into it and thanked me for letting her know. We've heard nothing from her since. I fully expected she would reach out to reimburse us for the second day of the rental but apparently not. It would have been the right thing to do.

I loved staying at Suite Spot. Definitely recommend 4 wheel drive. You’re really forced into the enjoyment of nature and small creatures around you. Had an amazing experience

This was exactly what I needed. Simple, comfortable, and quiet. The availability of creature comforts with the rugged outdoors was amazing. Stargazing and picturesque views. The host was very sweet and accommodating. The directions given were perfect, especially for someone like me who gets lost easily. 10/10 would recommend to friends and stay again!
