Tour the horse rescue, help with morning or evening feeding, treat yourself to a H.I.G.H. session or get some coaching on your partnership with your own horse. Just ask for a menu of ranch activities.Bring your tent or RV for dry camping. Don’t leave your horses at home, bring them along with your portable corral and feed, we can supply them some water. We have a lighted round corral for evening enjoyment and you certainly don’t want to miss an evening sunset ride. (The Rockin’ N Ranch does not offer horses for riding or rent).

My goal on this trip was to get off the hwy and see new things and new places. This was a great spot and just what I was looking for. The host was awesome and came out to make sure I found my spot since I did not arrive until way after dark.

I loved dry camping at this ranch! The host were amazing and generous with their time to share about all of the different animals that they have rescued. I would gladly stay there again!

I actually didn't get the opportunity to stay. We came into the area hours later than expected (dark) and immediately lost cell reception, no GPS, no email, no phone, making it to difficult to find. Once we got back into cell range I messaged host and they were ready to do just about anything to help us get back. Very friendly and when we are in the area again we will give it another try. Not host fault, T-Mobile's fault 😊.

So beautiful, silent and peaceful. I didn’t have the chance to meet Morgan but they let me know they would be in town when I arrived and to make myself comfortable. A great place for some reflection if that’s what you’re looking for. It is about 30 min off the highway so be sure to have enough gas to get you there and back.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. Unfortunately there were too many clouds so I couldn’t see the stars clearly but other than that it was quiet, peaceful, and inexpensive. 10/10

What a treat! Isolated and beautifully scenic surroundings! Nice to disconnect and get off grid and enjoy the quiet, I will definitely be back on my way to Denver! Thank you, Morgan and I hope to meet Chris on my next stop to your property!!

This place is really neat. Nestled in the Unionville basin south of Wendover, seeped in history and beauty. The folks were super nice and helpful. The campsite is quiet and has 360° views. Very peaceful.

Simply magical location. The big skies, the wide open space and the serenade of rescued animals. Morgan is an amazing host, kind and gracious. This is a must stop.

Morgan’s property feels very safe and private. We arrived later than expected, and didn’t want to bug our hosts by stopping on the way in, but he came out to the site after we were settled on his ATV to greet us all the same, sharing stories and information. Sadly, it was too stormy for us to meet the horses in the morning as planned, but we definitely hope to go back.

Camping on Morgan’s lot was the best camping experience I’ve ever had. He came over to our camping group when we arrived and told us about activities we could do nearby as well as gave us info about the history of building his house and his tree collection. I’ll be back!

Awesome campsite situated right in a valley between two mountains. Friendly hosts that came down to make sure we were settled in and see if we needed anything. Crazy views of the night sky. Would recommend to anyone looking for an off the grid stay with amazing views.

Morgan offers something very hard to find when on the road: a slice of predictable peace and quiet in the desert. We booked a half an hour before arriving. He and his wife came right out to meet us and lead us to our site. They were very friendly, brought some firewood, and shared lots of great info about the history of the land. Open desert, nothing but mountains to see, clean and quiet. Awesome spot, would recommend 100%, easy to get our 23 foot trailer in and out. Rods were beautifully maintained. I wish I had planned for More time here!

Great site. Flat and clean. Very private and truly in the middle of nowhere. Very easy to get to. Morgan and Chris are wonderful. I wish I had more time to check out the property, and will be back next time I’m through the area.

Morgan was the most hospitable and gracious host that we could have ever hoped for for our very first hipcamp experience. We had just gotten a new car recently and rented a travel trailer (first time, too) to break it in and explore some spots in Nevada. His listing mentioned the importance of reaching the site before sundown and when we were not able to do that, he and Chris greeted us at the front of their property at 10:00 PM to make sure we didn't get lost! There was firewood at the site and Morgan directed us as to where the sun would be rising so that we could station ourselves appropriately to welcome it in the morning. Unfortunately we were a bit tired and missed watching the sunrise but I can see how it would have been beautiful. In the morning, Morgan helped us fill out water tank, let our toddler feed his cows, helped us into our car when it locked us out, gave us a gas topper to make it to the gas station, all the while sharing his wealth of knowledge and life experience about relocating to Nevada. He even graciously offered to let us leave the trailer on his property while we explored the nearby town before we headed out. We totally wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return the next time we find ourselves in the area again. Had a great experience and made a new friend. Thanks a lot, Morgan and Chris!

We had a great time exploring the surrounding areas in our 4 x 4 jeep. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful landscape, and beautiful hosts. We ran short on eggs and forgot to pack our coffee and the owners of the property were gracious enough to bring us farm fresh eggs, and coffee for our stay. Highly recommend this place great place to get lost and chill

Pros- it’s in the middle of nowhere. Cons- it’s in the middle of nowhere. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re just traveling through for the night or if the weather isn’t great. 20-25 minutes off the highway. We arrived late (10pm) and were able to find our spot (thanks to Morgan for the awesome directions), but couldn’t stay longer than 4am because of the wind and rain so didn't get to see anything but dark Nevada desert. I’m sure it’s great in the summer and in an RV though.
