Spring Lake Ranch boasts countless trails and lake activities. Formerly known as Sayersbrook Bison ranch, at one time it was one of the largest Bison ranches in the world. This property is filled with amazing things to see and explore. Nothing like it in Missouri. Lake is 60+ acres and is spring fed. Amazing fishing, swimming and kayaking. We are pet friendly. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edge Cliff Wineries which is next door to us. The beautiful shower house is super clean, has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance. Firewood and ice are available to purchase; kayaks and fishing poles are available for rent. If you forget something at home stop by our little country store, we might have it! :) The sites are about 20 ft from each other - if you are looking for more privacy please check out the secluded site or the peninsula.

RV Site 8 Full hook-up

We enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend at Spring Lake Ranch! We had 3 spots in the full hookup camper area. The dock area was beautiful- We fished and swam - even though it was pretty cold. The beach area was great for the littles to play in. We also enjoyed playing in the creek and the playground. A few downsides, but not enough to keep us away. The pool was dry - and while a cold weekend - didn't look anywhere ready to go for summer. The sewer alarm kept ringing, and when they came to fix it, they pumped out the sewer - so one evening the camp area smelled like poop. Overall - we had a great weekend with friends! Will definitely return!

We stayed in the secluded area. It was so peaceful! You need to drive to get to the shower house, but that wasn’t too big of a deal. The shower house was great and clean. The things to do here for entertainment is way more than expected. We wished we could stay longer! Staff was awesome and super helpful! We’re coming back!!

Absolutely beautiful and welcoming atmosphere!! We didn't being coffee and went down to the store that next morning to see if we could buy some. They did have Starbucks iced coffee in the cooler, but was looking for grounds. Jonathan offered to make us some from his own coffee machine and then continued to talk while it was brewing! Great people and Absolutely BEAUTIFUL land!! Definitely going back!!!

The ranch was beautiful! The only negative about site #4 is that the ground was so rocky that we had a hard time getting our tent stakes in and could feel the sharp rocks under our feet inside the tent. The trails around the site are beautiful and lush with so many trees! The picnic table and grill were convenient. Definitely felt secluded - which is what we wanted! It was nice to be so close to the EdgClf winery during a rainstorm. There is a hill leading up to the campsite that is very steep and is all loose rock. Made us nervous at one point since we don't own a truck. We were disappointed no one working at the store to help us when we wanted to rent a paddleboat on our final day. A sign said they wouldn't be back for 3 hours. There was no one at the dock either. We would have loved to have stayed longer and enjoy the water but instead we just went back home.

Enjoyed the lake and the beauty of the place. Enjoyed the hike and the piggies at the top of the hill. I wish there were more secluded campsites and I usually don’t like campsites that are so crowded- which this was definitely was, especially as it was memorial weekend. I felt bad for our neighbors because we were in the back campsite (B7) and it’s right next to a small cabin you can rent- It’s right on top of each other. Also the country “store” does not have everything you need. You’d think with it being memorial weekend that they would be a bit more prepared but it had your bare basics when we were there. The staff were very friendly.

A5 is a great spot! Right near the beautiful lakefront and steps to the beach and just short walk to the bathhouse/restrooms. We've stayed at A-section sites 3 times and they are always great. Some folks do come near the campsite to take out rental kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats, but everyone is polite and friendly. We enjoyed some kayaking and a hike around the lake. Bathhouse is one of the nicest I've experience at a camp ground. We shall return!

This place is beautiful especially the lake. The sites are quite small but the views make up for it. We only stayed one night so we did not take advantage of any of the activities but there was lots to do. I would definitely return for a longer stay

When we booked this on Hipcamp, we thought it was just camping- but it’s so much more! This place is super cool. When you arrive you are greeted by cows and horses, they also have goats. And as others have mentioned in the comments, the ranch dogs roaming around work hard at their jobs but are also as sweet as can be (interacted great with our dog as well!). We booked the campsites on the lake which was beautiful spot. The spots were a little closer together than we expected, but be we had no problem fitting our 8 person sized tent. This place had horse back riding, a dock for fishing, multiple great spots for gatherings and fire pits. They also have some really cool cabin rentals as well. It’s very family, kid, and dog friendly. The bathrooms are also very nice. If you are looking to plan a trip with a group this would be great place! Some campers next to us came with a group (some tent camped, some RV, and some stayed in cabins). If was so easy for them to meet up and had some large areas to hold little cookouts/fire pits gatherings. Overall, I would highly recommend. You can he’ll they take pride in their place and the experiences they offer.

Site C1 - wood platform

Camping here was a really fun experience. The land is beautiful and the lake is full of aggressive panfish, spotted bass, and some crappie too. The hosts have kayaks, paddleboats, and canoes to rent. The bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious. However, the campsites are not. If the campsites are relatively full, I would recommend finding a less booked weekend. The campsite tent platforms are ~10-30 yards away from eachother so if it is a booked weekend, it will be very cramped. Our trip was great and since it was at a time where camping is not as common, we had well enough space and quiet. The hiking paths are nice and circle the lake and property. The instructions from the host were spot on and very helpful and I was able to meet the owners and they are very nice. The winery next door (shares the same entrance road) has a sign near the entrance to Spring Lake and is highly reccomended as they make great wine and are also super friendly.

Beautiful location! First off, it was a big ranch with various walking trails around the ranch. We booked A3 site for our car camping and the sunset view from the site was just amazing. People working there were so friendly and helpful. They also offer kayaking and provide life vest from the country store. Few things that could be a concern for others are, sites are pretty close by and since we are by the lake, people came in-front of our site for fishing. Since it was off season when we went there, we only had couple of people coming but during season, there might be more. So, if that might be concerning. Other than that, we had a beautiful time there and would love to come back and explore the property more.

Great spot next to the horse barn and not far from the bathhouse. The hookups are on the right side and not the left so make sure you have a long enough water and electric cord.

Incredibly beautiful place! The campsites all have great views of the water and nature packed woods. Sunset here was spectacular. And your probably thinking that it can’t get any better then that can it? It does get better…. We lost a purse and the host found it and called after we left defeated. They have it there going to even drive a hour away to bring this thing back to us! Will be back

Beautiful place. My child and I stayed here for a few days and greatly enjoyed the calmness and hospitality. We felt especially safe with the dogs running the property at night. When the world becomes too much, we will definitely come visit again!

Loved the space! Spent lots of time fishing (caught a few bass) and relaxing. Nice little spot to hang out with plenty of space for kids to run around. We had two tents, and a canopy that all fit perfectly in the area.

Our visit to Spring Lake Ranch was wonderful! While the weather was still too cold to really get out and enjoy all the beauty we did love our views and Jonathan and his family were so easy and affable to work with. We chose an RV site with a lake view and tree coverage and loved the overall feel of the park. We watched the dogs and horses play, took the 2 mile hike both by foot and horseback and loved the evenings around the campfire with friends. This is a definite return site for us!!

This was a great campground. The Hiking trail was very good and scenic did the long trail. We saw some bald eagles! The shower house and bathroom were very clean and nice. We did switch sites from A5 to A2. The A sites are not really level enough to put a large tent. Very peaceful place, lol might be different when the campground is full in the summer. Would absolutely return and highly recommend

The tent camping was beautiful, we had so much fun fishing on the docks and exploring. Everyone was super nice ( our car battery died and one of the workers from the ranch came and helped us jump it ) I would definitely recommend the lost close to the water waking up to a beautiful lake was amazing! The camps sits also are very clean and roomy!

We had such a great time here. It's a gorgeous piece of land. There are horses, cattle, birds of prey, and all types of animals. The creek or spring is just magnificent. The campground is beautiful. We will be back for sure because we had a wonderful time here.
