Piney Bend spans 7 secluded acres on both sides of the river, set on a scenic bluff with sweeping views and direct access to the water below. Ember Nook, our cozy riverfront cabin, offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This thoughtfully designed retreat sleeps up to four and features a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a large covered front deck with full river views of passing kayakers and jet boats, and a spacious private firepit with Adirondack seating. Just steps away, guests enjoy an outdoor cedar shower house, an outdoor restroom, and a dedicated prep sink for meal prep, washing dishes, or cleaning the day’s catch. A private two-person wood-fired hot tub and lounging area overlooking the river adds an unforgettable touch to evenings under the stars. For larger groups, Ivy Ridge, our fully stocked modern camper sleeps up to six and includes a private shower and ice-cold A/C. It’s parked right along the river with its own private firepit and water access. Looking ahead, three new modern two-bedroom cabins with private spa areas are planned higher on the bluff, offering incredible views and the same peaceful river access. We anticipate availability by Fall 2026. Piney Bend Riverside Tent sites are in a dispersed camping area on a spacious sandbar along the banks of the Big Piney River, perfect for swimming, kayaking, tubing and fishing. Guests will occasionally have another group visible to the campsite they choose. **PLEASE NOTE** These campsites are only accessible by kayak, swimming or tubes so unless you provide your own way across the river these sites will only be able to be reserved during the warmer season. You can add a kayak to your reservation if you don't have your own. Prefect for kayakers doing a two day float on the Big Piney needing somewhere to camp overnight.

This listing is for a unique Glamping Experience at Piney Bend Riverfront! You will be sleeping along the banks of the crystal clear Big Piney River suspended above the ground IN the trees! When you arrive you will have two kayaks waiting for you. All you will need to bring is your clothes and campfire food. You will load up your kayak and paddle to your own secluded sandbar where you will find your suspended tent, complete with bedding and places to store all your gear safely off the ground. There is a firepit set up for you to cook your dinner, you can even catch your dinner straight from the river for the full Experience. The Big Piney is known for its amazing fishing! We provide two chairs to sit and enjoy your amazing view and when it's time to climb into your tent you'll have a full panoramic view of the river and the starry night sky. Fall asleep to the sounds of nature and the water lulling you to sleep. Experience the Ozarks like never before and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Piney Bend RV Campsite is a flat concrete space to park your small camper or set up your tent on the banks of the Big Piney River. During peak season our 24' camper is set up here and there wouldn't be room for anything much bigger. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, tubing and fishing. Guests will enjoy the full site to themselves, but please note there may be another group visible 300 feet up river. Guests will have no access to bathrooms and will have to be self contained. There is 30 amp electric and fresh water hookups at this site. Please note.....due to our convenient proximity to I44 you will hear traffic sounds in the background during your stay.

Ember Nook is a charming one-room tiny cabin tucked into the trees and overlooking a scenic stretch of the Big Piney River. Set on a peaceful bluff at Piney Bend Riverfront, this cozy retreat offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and simplicity. Start your mornings on the front porch with a cup of coffee as the sun rises over the river, casting a beautiful turquoise glow across the water. Our property runs parallel to the river, with the Mark Twain National Forest just across the way—creating a quiet, wooded setting with a true Ozark feel. Inside, the cabin features two queen beds and space for an additional air mattress if needed. A small dining area, couch, and thoughtfully stocked dry kitchen make it easy to relax and settle in. The kitchen includes a butane single-burner cooktop, small refrigerator with freezer, portable sink, storage space, and basic cookware. Just steps away, guests enjoy access to a clean, well-maintained outdoor restroom and a standout outdoor shower house with hot water and full river views—one of the most loved features of the cabin. Fresh potable water is available at the outdoor spigot, along with an outdoor sink for dishes or cleaning fish. Outside, you’ll find a spacious front porch with seating and hanging hammock chairs, a picnic table with umbrella, and a large private fire pit surrounded by comfy Adirondack chairs (firewood available for purchase). Games are provided for relaxed evenings in, and the cabin is equipped with air conditioning and heat for year-round comfort.

The private bathroom includes a flush toilet, sink, and shower. Sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate up to six guests and include: • Memory foam queen bed with privacy curtain • Queen slide-out bed • Convertible dinette • Convertible sofa • Twin bunk Outside, enjoy your own charcoal grill, picnic table, and private firepit just steps from the riverbank. The view of the cabin was absolutely breath taking. The cabin overlooks the beautiful big piney river and outlooks large rocks and Missouri hills. We stayed here from 10/23-10/26 so the vibrant fall leaves painted the backdrop. Even just sitting on the patio drinking coffee was very tranquil. We could not kayak due to the weather since it was raining on and off during our stay. Lacy was so kind to give us a full refund and a discount code for next time! Outside the cabin there is a huge fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and stargazed. We recommend buying some fire wood from Lacey and utilizing the bonfire grill and regular grill. Lacey offers so many amenities that made home cooking meals super easy and enjoyable. We made some really amazing meals that we enjoyed by candlelight on the picnic table. The aesthetic of the cabin was 10/10 and super hippie/boho and cozy. Which we absolutely loved! Our dogs had a wonderful time playing fetch outside the cabin. One of the best parts was taking a hot shower while it was chilly outside. This was the perfect and most romantic trip for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his 30th birthday. It is our tradition to go Glamping for our birthdays. We’ve been to a few different airbnbs but we both agreed that this has been our fav.Lastly but most importantly, Lacey was an extremely hospitable host, really quick to answer any questions I had and went out of her way to accommodate us several times. Thank you so much Lacey we will be back:)

Piney Bend is beautiful and peaceful. The camper is very clean and cozy. The beds are So comfortable. We added a Kayak float trip this year to our stay. It did Not disappoint. We Loved it! We have decided to add it as part of our Annual trip. Lacey is a wonderful welcoming host. We Definitely recommend this place!! You will want to visit again and again.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Piney Bend River Cabin! From the very beginning, Lacey was the most accommodating, responsive, and kind host. She put in extra effort to organize an extended Piney River float— it was the highlight of the visit! The cabin itself was just precious. It was cozy, spotless, and had more amenities than any rental I’ve ever stayed in—fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. You can tell so much thought and care went into making the space welcoming and comfortable. The setting was gorgeous—right on the river with a peaceful, low-key vibe that made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. The drive up the hill to the cabin looked a little intimidating at first, but it was easily doable in my AWD Forester. Just give it some gas :) Between the amazing cabin, the beautiful location, and Lacey’s incredible hospitality, this trip couldn’t have been better. I would recommend Piney Bend River Cabin to anyone looking for a chill and secluded adventure. I can’t wait to come back! P.s. the neighbors are all friendly, including Julio, the Llama that arrived a few doors down.

My kids and I had a great stay in the cabin. It is small but has everything you need to stay cool and comfortable. Quiet, secluded, close river access. Lacy was extremely helpful and communicated with me quickly to coordinate our stay. Lacey helped us with kayaks and a shuttle up the river so we could float back to the cabin. So nice to end a day on the river at your cabin without having to do anything else to get there. We will definitely be back!

This camper had everything you need! We had a great time in Laceys’s camper. With camping with 3 boys 5 and under, it worked out wonderful for us. May be cramped with too many adults tho. Very clean bedding, and right on the river, although if swimming with little ones, it was kinda tough. Not a lot of spots for the to get into the river at safely. Lacey came out to help with the dumping and water, and we had to do nothing, which made it very nice. The very few people nearby was very nice as well. I would definitely stay on this property again!

We had a great stay at the cabin! You definitely need 4WD to get up the hill. If you don't have 4WD, then the RV would maybe be a better option since it's located at the base of that same hill. The cabin sits above the road that runs next to the river. You can't really even see the cabin from the road, so you're really hidden, which is nice.

We had a wonderful stay in the RV trailer over the weekend. The views of the river while we had our meals were wonderful. The RV was extremely cute and cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were very comfortable, even during the rain and one of the hottest days of the month. We brought our own kayaks and opted for the float, and Lacey and her husband were wonderful and dropped us off for a scenic and lovely float down the piney. Lacey was very prompt in responding to our questions and requests, and made for a wonderful host. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay on the river.

Great location! Came down with my buddy and his kids to enjoy a weekend away from the city. The kids had a blast hanging out in the cabin and sitting around the fire. Lacey gave great instructions and it was so easy to find. Would definitely come back again.

Lacey was very good about responding in a timely manner & was there in 30 minutes when we needed help. The camper was very clean and comfy for my family of four with 2 dogs. The grounds had space for a small tent so my 7 year old got to “really camp”.

We had the best stay at Piney Bend! We had rain move in right before the trip and Lacey helped accommodate us by switching us from tent sites to the camper. The camper had everything we could need. The stay was right on the river and it was beautiful. I even caught a fish right out front of the camper. Lacey kept a constant eye on weather and river levels and never missed a beat in communication. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. It’s also close to a lot of outdoor activities that we really enjoyed. Lacey was able to help get us setup on a float trip with her kayaks after our planned trip got cancelled. Floating the Big Piney is a must do when you’re there. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a weekend getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of the State!

Absolutely lovely stay! The views are AMAZING! Beautiful little home. Lacey really has thought of everything. A dry cabin, but they have a lovely little cold water dish station outside, and AC. An outdoor shower, but with hot water, shower mats, and a dry space for clothes. Also the compositing toilet? DREAMY! We've all stayed at those places with a "composting toilet" that's just a bug infested old porta potty with a bucket of mulch in the corner to sprinkle over. Or the one with a too small shower curtain that never really closes. And they all seem to be in a hill. This one is level 🤣, has clear instructions, is very clean, has hand sanitizer and toilet bowl spray, extra supplies, is roomy, not far from the house but still very private, it's lovely. Lacey was wonderful we had a few issues (none of them were her fault!) and she was quick to respond and did everything she could to make it right. We will absolutely be back!

We spent two nights in the cabin for Easter weekend and had an amazing time. It rained/stormed practically the whole time, but the space was so well equipped we still had so much fun! The front porch is nice and deep, so plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors even when it’s raining. There’s a beautiful view of the river, the beds are cozyyy, and the cabin is equipped with everything you would need besides bringing your food! It is very well insulated and the AC unit worked really well. The compost toilet had such a cute little room and with the directions/set up that did not smell at all! Everything is well lit, and the outdoor shower is really cool. A few things to consider- we had a 1.5 year old with us (she did her first Easter egg hunt there which was special). But, because of the layout with the porch height and the drop off/overlook of the river, we had to be on top of her at all times when outside. Which wasn’t a big deal but if you had multiple little ones it might be a little challenging. We also brought our 90 lbs Labrador who had an amazing time. He had plenty of room to roam and went for some beautiful walks. The host, Lacey, was phenomenal! Very responsive, so thoughtful (she left a little Easter basket for our girl), and was really on top of it watching the weather and levels of the river since there was a flood warning. You are in really good hands here and guaranteed to have a good time (even if are dealing with some weather)!
