Drive right up and camp! This listing is for tent camping or parking an RV. There is a 50 amp RV plug-in for electric access. During the summer season, a flush toilet and sink is a short walk away. In the winter season, you’ll have access to a composting toilet in a private space. What we love about this site is that it is shady in the summertime until about 11 a.m. The last 2 miles to arrive are on a hilly, gravel road that requires slow speeds of 5-10 mph. Most cars can do this with no problem, going slow. Sports cars or cars with very low clearance should not drive on our road. You'll have access to a spring and creek, a waterfall, and a hiking loop through the woods. There is a cabin within view (Cedar Cabin) that might have guests. Site #1 is tucked into the trees with an open view of the large fire pit in the field. You can collect wood nearby to start a small fire, or ask us about using the large fire pit. Site #1 is closest to the bathroom. All the sites share a bathroom with a flush toilet and running water for hand washing only. Potable water bottles can be filled from our well spigot near the main house. You can pitch your tent tucked into the trees, or if you have a small camper, you can park it near the firepit, weather permitting. This site is not good for driving in wet weather.

Our 220 sq ft. Hilltop Cabin, accessible by car, but on a gravel road, has a queen bed on the ground level, a double bed up in the sleeping loft, and a twin bed in the sleeping loft. This cabin has electricity, and an indoor toilet and kitchenette in a separate building behind the cabin. The last 2 miles to arrive are on a gravel road that requires slow speeds of 5-10 mph. Typical cars/sedans can do this with no problem, going slow. Motorcycles, ports cars or cars with very low clearance should not drive on our road. November- March is WINTER MODE, when we drain the water lines for freezing temps. Water access in winter is limited, so there is not a kitchen sink or shower at the cabin. There is a flush toilet and bathroom sink a short walk away at the event center in a heated building. The cabin has an electric heater. There are 3 other places near the cabin to pitch a tent, or hike into the woods a primitive campsite. This is perfect for a gathering, or a retreat for up 20 people. You'll have plenty of solitude and privacy on your 25 acre area, and you can use the pavilion space for large group meals, yoga or dance, playing or recording music, kids swing set, and more! You'll be able to hike together and use the large firepits at night (or by day)! Wonderful camp in the woods

Dockley Ranch Glamp - Hilltop Cabin

The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

We loved staying here! Claire and Myke are so nice and their property feels private. The bed was comfy and our space was warm. We loved watching the goats and liked have the dogs near- they are very well-behaved. We’ll be back again soon!

This was my second time staying at this property! Always a wonderful visit. I wouldn’t have thought it could get better than the first time but somehow it did. Claire & Myke are so kind and are excellent hosts with a beautiful property that has so many thoughtful fun details! Great for exploring!

Tent Village - Summer Only

I stayed in the Tent Village for 4 days while I visited Missouri to view some caves. Claire was easy to get in contact with and so hospitable. The property was stunning and I enjoyed exploring its trails, including one with a waterfall. Also, the warm outdoor shower felt luxurious. I can’t wait to visit this property again soon!

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

The cabin was well put together, and my family loved the charm of the ranch. Having a hot outdoor shower was wonderful. Even as a family of 6, it seemed like there was plenty of extra room to move around the cabin when needed. The kids loved the experience, and the parents were more than satisfied. Our only gripe is that we didn't plan more time to explore. Next time we'll have to stay a couple days at least!

Large Group Campground + 2 Cabins

Wow! I can’t say enough good about this place. My fiancé and I rented the whole campground for our joint bachelorette/bachelor party. The grounds are beautiful and it has a fantastic view of the hillside. Both the cabins are cute and cozy with water and coffee inside. The outdoor kitchens are great for a large group. Plenty of outlets around and lots of grills as well. We did the outdoor movie the first night which was super fun and I highly recommend! We got to feed and pet the goats who were so cute. The hike to the falls is well marked and the falls are very pretty. Claire and Myke are attentive and fun loving and I am so happy I booked this place for our party. All of my friends had the best time and can’t stop talking about how we want to come back!

We loved staying at Claire and Myke’s hipcamp. There was wood for a fire, cool trails on their property that led to a stream, and good energy all around! The road to the property was pretty rough so be prepared for that (: I definitely recommend though!

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

The land is very beautiful and the cabin is quite cozy! The hosts and very kind, helpful and prompt. They have 5 dogs and they are so sweet and great company! They stayed with us for 2 days except when in the cabin. It is a great comfort, being a mom of girls in the woods. We love them, the goats, the land and the cabin. Can't wait to explore more when it gets warmer.

Dockley Ranch RV Site 1

We loved camping at Dockley ranch! Myke and Claire are great people who made us feel right at home, and were very responsive to our questions and needs. The other campers / woofers were also very friendly. The directions to the site were very clear, and the tent was already set up for us when we got there. It was a big tent with a queen bed inside, a proper mattress, side tables, outlets and a lamp. There were a couple of heavy storms but the tent held up very well thanks to pvc reinforcements installed by Myke. Even with the windows opened, no rain got inside. They have a lot of land, including a trail system you can hike, which goes right by a lovely creek. Myke and Claire have five dogs which are very friendly, a bunch of goats who will look at you with some curiosity, and an alpaca roaming freely, but who likes to keep a safe distance. The cabins look really comfy, and the outside showers have hot water. Highly recommend staying there!

Fantastic getaway!

The cabin was fully stocked and had wonderful presentation. There was a great attention to detail from having lighters in the cabin to having a projector for entertainment! The owners were so incredibly kind and inviting, and definitely warm to any questions we had. My husband and I will definitely be back sometime for a getaway

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

My family and I loved staying in the cabin at Dockley Ranch! Our favorite thing to do was hike down to the waterfall and the spring to swim. The trails are beautiful and clear, and so is the water! My kids enjoyed exploring the creek and checking out the wildlife. We came last summer, and they’ve been begging to go back ever since. It’s a three hour drive for us, but well worth it! Their dogs are super sweet. My kids feel in love with them last summer, and seeing them again was like reuniting with old friends. They hang out and keep us company and even helped my kids feel safer, knowing they were sleeping at the door. The cabin itself was wonderful. It had games, cozy furniture and beds, a nice outdoor kitchen, and a really cool outdoor shower. It was so nice to take a break from the heat in the AC and clean up in the shower after swimming and hiking all day. Claire and Myke are wonderful, welcoming hosts. They invited us down to the bar area for their open mike night, and even let one of my kids perform. We had such a great trip, and we can’t wait to come back!

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

Absolutely stunning place! Everything was so well thought out and lovely - all the design, mise en scene, amenities… The outdoor shower was easy to use. This was our first time using an outhouse/sawdust style toilet and it was very easy for us to figure out! We found it pleasant and were grateful for the helpful instructions. AC was on point! We visited in early July and were comfortable the entire time. We highly recommend getting omelettes in the morning. They were delicious and nutritious!!! It was nice not to have to worry about breakfast since the cabin is secluded and far from town. There was a pretty intense storm the first night we were here. There was an emergency radio for us and a page in the welcome book that told us everything we needed to know. We felt safe and enjoyed the rain on the metal roof lulling us to sleep. Mike and Claire were kind and friendly. They responded promptly to our messages and came swiftly to the rescue when we ran out of propane late in the evening. Great folks. Overall this place is inspiring, comfortable, and magical. Can’t wait to be back 💕

A bit of luxury in the back hills.

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

The cabin was large and air conditioned, very cute and comfy. The outhouse next to the cabin was convenient, but the flush toilets down the hill were nicer. The skinny roads in are 2 miles of gravel and hills, just so people realize.

Dockley Ranch Glamp - Hilltop Cabin

Hilltop cabin at Dockley Ranch was magical! Myke and Claire were wonderful hosts and getting a taste of their life with the wildlife and nature was a great experience for our family! We hope to come back!

Family reunion

Large Group Campground + 2 Cabins

The property was perfect for our family reunion. We made pizzas with the outdoor pizza oven and had a campfire. The next day we hiked to the waterfall and enjoyed that beautiful scene along the creek. Later our host used four wheelers to transport coolers and chairs to a different part of the creek and we all sat with our feet in the creek for hours. We had a cookout at the pavilion, which is huge and beautiful and has a covered shelter with tables. There's so much space to move around and each cabin sleeps 4-6 people. The alpaca were neat and the baby goats were adorable. The glamping tent platforms were really fun. and there are endless options for pitching a tent. Myke and Claire provided a lot of attention and service to us that we weren't even expecting.

Great place to tent camp! The hosts Claire and Myke were very helpful through the trip. Our kids loved to explore the area and all the animals. The farm dogs were very well behaved and were amazing with our kids too. Our favorite part was probably the hike to the waterfall on their property, It was so beautiful! We hope to return soon!

Nestled in the heart of a sprawling ranch, this campsite is a hidden gem for larger groups seeking a night or two in nature. The sweet resident dogs, comfy cabins, kitchen and bath amenities, and soothing creek offer a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. And let's not forget the adorable goats and alpacas that greeted us upon arrival! Our host Claire was amazing and even drove our chairs and coolers down to the creek for an afternoon swim. Highly recommend!

Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! We loved meeting them and getting to see their property. Columbine Falls is a gem of a destination after a hot day. We loved meeting the goats and having a slow, peaceful morning. We only stayed for one night and a morning, but it was beyond worth it! Thank you, Myke and Claire!

Most Relaxing Experience Ever

Myke and Claire were amazing and quick to respond to any questions we had. Their campsites were spread out and isolated and there were farm animals that would just roam around about their business. It was such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and they had fun activities and rest spots spread throughout their acreage. They have 5 beautiful dogs who watch over the land and will protect you while you sleep (we had 2 sweeties who stayed both nights it was wonderful) There's a bathroom with running water for all the campsites to share that is clean and well kept. You can't go wrong camping here. The hosts and atmosphere are just absolutely amazing.

We really enjoyed our time and this campsite, we took advantage of the hiking trails and especially enjoyed all the 4 legged friends! We would recommend your stay here….its a little out of the way our preference actually! ) but worth the drive.

Cedar Cabin Glamping Dockley Ranch

I love this place for peace and quiet. They had everything we needed and the cabin was surprisingly warm. I enjoyed the polite dogs on the property and the seeing the stars at night. The hosts are very welcoming and low-key. Walking to Columbine Falls in the morning and having breakfast omelettes delivered afterwards was an extra bonus!
