Fourth stay here at the farm, this one with my son. Super peaceful as always and just two minutes from Devil's Back Floats, from where we floated the Bourbeuse River. My son visited the farm's horses a few times a day, we did some fishing, swam in the river, and just had a great weekend. As usual our hosts were great, attentive as needed, and very generous.

Jennifer’s campsite is a relaxing getaway with great access to the Bourbeuse River. They also have friendly horses, pigs, and chickens on site. I would highly recommend.

Tent camping spot was great! Had it all to ourselves. Hosts were very helpful getting us settled in. Grocery store down the street was stocked with everything we needed for the trip.

What a lovely little slice of heaven! We loved our weekend in the river cabin. Our 15 mo old daughter had a blast! Great hosts, great accomodations and such perfect vintage charm!
Our daughter loved the animals and playing in the river. It was a very comfortable and clean place to stay. We will definitely be back and look forward to bringing more friends and family to stay in the other cabins. 🙂

This is my second time staying here and the camp site was clean as usual and the hosts were very accommodating. There is very easy river access and nice places to swim and fish.

This was my third trip back to this beautiful spot in as many years. So I’ll just let that be my review this time. I camp in a lot of different locations, and this is one of my faves. Brought both of my older kids this time and they loved it just as much as I. Hosts were great as always. See you all again next year!

we really enjoyed staying on Jennifer's property!
she was a great host and the cabin we stayed in (river cabin) was completely stocked, comfy, and private enough for us to feel at ease after/ before a day of hiking, biking, touring, and site seeing.
with all the accomodations, we were able to spend most of our time enjoying ourselves and exploring the area (including visiting with the other animals on the property, cooling off in the bourgie river, and napping in the picturesque screened in room.
another bright spot to our stay were the polka dotted guinea fowl, who may have ensured our stay was tick free.
*bring your cds--there's a boombox!

Great spot for tent camping. Very clean and shaded. Easy river access for fishing and swimming. Available water access and restrooms if needed.
Beautiful scenery and the host was very communicative. Looking forward to coming back and will be bringing my son along on the next trip

We had an amazing time and the property is beautiful! We stayed in the River Cabin and it was fully stocked with anything you could need (definitely brought too many things this time around oops!). We were super grateful for the window AC unit in the bedroom as it got pretty toasty this weekend. Everything is amazing, I can't recommend this spot enough!!

Charming River Cabins on the Bourbe
This was our second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first! The cabin is just up the hill from the river, there is a float trip operation just across the road, the rescued farm animals are wonderful (Henry the pig is our favorite--he lies down for belly rubs), Jennifer is lovely and helpful, and even though you're out in the country, you're not too far from "civilization." Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a hidden, quiet, peaceful camping trip, this is the place. We tent camped in the meadow. Camping spot is spacious and ground is nice and clear. The river is gorgeous, and the sound of the dam put us right to sleep. Great fishing as well. My husband caught good sized smallmouth and several other species. And the hosts are just lovely! Will definitely be back again.

I loved the spot we were in and even though we came at a bad time during the year jennifer made sure our experience was amazing. the land is so beautiful and they made sure we had everything we needed. if your looking for a camping spot i think you should consider going here.

Great spot! It was very secluded and just a literal stone's throw from the river. The camping area was flat and soft, lots of trees around. The hosts were super-helpful and responsive. Great experience overall. We will be back!

Such a great place to spend some time with the family. We’ve been twice now in two different cabins. Not a long drive to feel like we’re far from it all. Very scenic river behind the property. Very clean, very affordable and very friendly. Devil back floats is right across the road and makes it very convenient for a day trip on the water. We will be back again and again.

This place surpassed our expectations for our girls weekend getaway.
Jennifer was such an awesome host who went above and beyond for us.
The river was beautiful and we were able to sit in the river by the gorgeous dam and play cards and just enjoy the outdoors.
Jennifer also told us about a beautiful winery just 10 min away from the cabins that we got to check out one night also.
The property is wonderful and they have horses and pigs for you to see/pet.
All in all it was such a great experience and we will definitely be back.

This place is amazing! The houses have so many accommodations. The River access and dam was great for kids of all ages. So many wonderful touches. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Will most definitely be back.

This was a great camping location. The campground was clean and level. There were clean outhouses available for use. There was a very short walk to the river and great fishing. Awesome stay.

Camping right next to the river was so wonderful. It was me and my 2 kiddos, and we had the entire meadow to ourselves...which was great! If there would've been other campers booked that night it would've felt a bit cramped. I would suggest bringing friends and look to book all the sites for your stay if you are truly looking for privacy. The cabins are up on the hill and provide plenty of space away.
We loved playing in the river and visiting the farm animals as well! Jennifer's hospitality was spot on too!
I would highly recommend this place!

This was a beautiful piece of property. We were the only ones there and had the pick of camping spots — all of which were close to the river which provided wonderful background sound all night long. Spent some time in the river and finding frogs since we were there at the beginning of frog season. The outdoor shower was fantastic and very necessary after the 94 degree day!

Did some tent camping and all I can say is, what more could you ask for? A perfect little camp spot steps from the river, good fishing (caught large and small mouth bass, sun fish and brim), float trip options near by, attentive, friendly proprietors, clean facilities, a small grocery store just a couple miles from camp ... It certainly checked all my boxes. This was my second stay here and there will be a third.

Such a beautiful, historic property! Cute little cabins alongside a relaxing flowing river. We enjoyed having horses, donkeys, pigs and a couple dogs to visit with occasionally! If you want to get away and relax, this is the place to do it. The cabin had everything we needed.

Amazing stay! Just book it! Beautiful property, easy to get to. We stayed in the River cabin and slept to the sound of the water. Jens animals are darling and it’s obvious how much love and labor is put into their place. Jen was very helpful, accommodating and fun to talk to!
