Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.

My wife and I are slowly starting up our own little farm. We have 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, a dog, chickens and two ducks. We are on 34 acres and have a river that runs through the middle of it. We are 10 minutes from Alma and 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant. Lumberjack park is about 2 minutes away and Stearns preserve is about 5 mins away where you can walk or ride bike on a nice paved trail. We have a small garden that we plant every summer and plan to start a small farm stand this year. We are in a quiet area with lots of wildlife. We have 1 spot near the house with a view of the river that can support electric hook for a smaller RV and can attach a garden hose for water if needed. We do have a “field” that RVs can use but there is no hook up and there ground may not be level. We have many options for rustic tent camping along the river. No public restroom available. We can also provide some fire wood for campfires for a small cost. Along the river fires are allowed but must be contained in a fire ring. If camping by the field fires will be dependent on conditions. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe that can be used with prior consent. There is a park up river where you can put in and then can exit at our house which is about an hour on the river. We are very new to this and just purchased a UTV so we will be able to start making trails and clearing areas. But for now, camping along the river you will have to walk (and carry belongings) through tall grass to the site you desire. Quiet time 11 pm. We are an easy going couple that just want to share this slice of paradise with others! WiFi available

The River Wild

This site is located right along the pine river away. Deer, ducks and geese love swimming and walking by the river. This site is completely rustic with no electricity, water or restrooms. The vegetation is very tall but we will have areas cleared if you choose to pick one of those locations. Currently you must walk to the sites by trail and also carry any items you are bringing. We eventually will have a trail cleared and will be able to transport via UTV.

This site is located in the yard next to the house, chicken coop and garden. This has electric hook up and can provide water if needed. Has a view of the river and also a large fire pit near camper site. Smaller fire pit is located by the river. WiFi available. *This listing does not include the camper

Field Of Dreams

This site is located in our “field”. Less secluded and more out in the open. Does not offer a direct view of the river. Fire allowance will vary depending on conditions. If fire is allowed it must be in the fire pit provided. No hooks available. This is 100% rustic. No bathrooms besides the great outdoors. If water is needed you can use the hose connected to the house. Wildlife loves wandering around dusk and dawn. Many deer and occasional foxes.

The River Roost

This site is located near the house with a view of the river. It is a camper that sleeps 4 with electric and water hookup. This site faces the river and has the garden with a field view for the back. The chicken coop is located close by as well. Guests will have fully private access to the camper but hosts may be home and may be seen in the garden or doing some yard work. We will try to keep any work to a minimum. Guests have two options for fire pits. One close to the RV and another located down by the river. Guests can enjoy kayaking, fishing or taking a chair and just sitting in the river. This site is open to the ducks and chickens so please let us know if that will be an issue.WiFi available

Wow The Farm was awesome. The host was so cool and accommodating. Did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. What a beautiful piece of heaven. We had a bonfire by the river, enjoyed their chickens, ducks, dog. And the deer were abundant. So peaceful and relaxing. Thank you ladies we had a great time.
