Do you need to recharge from the busyness of life? Nature’s beauty and simplicity awaits you at Our Daily Bread Campground. Cradled on almost 200 acres of rolling hills, farmland, quiet valleys, picturesque woodlands the scenes of nature will ennoble the senses. The shimmering waters of Miller lake adorn the property’s southern border. Deer, wild turkey, swans, sandhill cranes, beaver, and occasional fox are but few of the residents who live here. Come and enjoy the peace and serenity, rest and relaxation of Our Daily Bread. We offer a place for families and individuals to come and feel safe and enjoy some quiet time... away from the hustle and bustle of life. We have lots of trails for hiking, a playground for kids, and lots of seating areas to rest and relax. We are an alcohol and smoke free campus, and don't allow foul language, parties or any disturbances to other guests.... as we value the satisfaction and peaceful experience here for all our guests. We do not allow pets for our cabin guests, and we're also a smoke and alcohol free campus. We have boats for rent (kayaks, canoes, row boats, paddle boats). This is not for everyone, but if you want to come and commune with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet, then this is the spot for you! Our goal to provide a peaceful, quiet ambiance for all our guests and so we don’t allow loud music and we require adherence of our quiet hours from 10pm to 10 am. If you’re using a generator, please run it during the day until 10pm, so that it’s not running all through the night.

Escape to a truly remote and peaceful wilderness at our exclusive, tent-only campsites. Nestled approximately 600 feet from the parking area, these sites are accessible only on foot, offering a quiet, secluded retreat perfect for backpackers. The trail to camp is a natural, unpaved path with uneven ground, so a sturdy wagon for gear can be very helpful. Your destination is a tranquil, one-acre plot with six well-shaded sites under a thick canopy of trees. From here, you'll witness one of Southwest Michigan's most breathtaking views: a pristine wetland and lake, virtually free of light and noise pollution. Gather around the community campfire ring, sitting on large logs and enjoying the free chopped firewood we provide (or bring your own if you prefer smaller split wood). Wilderness camp sits on the wetland side of the lake and is home to many animals, and the perfect spot for a birdwatcher's dream! For your convenience, pit toilets, showers, and a hand pump for safe drinking water are located 600 feet away by the parking area. Other close-by amenities include a playground, lookout tower, and our Cattail forest... fun adventures for the young and young at heart. For a minimal footprint, we have designated cathole areas near your site. Book a single site or reserve the entire area for a discounted group rate. This is an unparalleled opportunity to unplug, enjoy nature's silence, and find your peaceful place. Beach area and lake access is about 1200 ft from campsite, and can be reached by car or on foot. Rent a boat to experience some of the best views of nature... we have canoes, kayaks, row boats, and paddle boats available. Good to know: This is an alcohol, cigarette, and drug-free campus. Our campsites sit right on the lake overlooking the water! This rustic campsite is located on the grounds of Our Daily Bread Christian Campground and has been described by previous guests as one of the quietest places on earth. This is not for everyone; we don't have permanent campers, so it may just be your party at the camp, although we usually have cabin guests or fishermen on the grounds. We have outdoor privies (pit toilets) and a shower house for use at no extra fee. We have the old-fashioned hand pumps for water... it's well water, which is safe for drinking or cooking. There's lots of space for running around and playing, with a sandy beach area nearby and a rope swing for kids. We also have a volleyball net and a basketball court next to it. There's also a playground with swings, a slide, and a deck with seating nearby to watch little ones from. We have rental boats available (rowboats, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes). Just reserve with us ahead to ensure it’s available for your group. Pitch your tent and listen to the natural sounds of nature... bird songsters, beavers in the water, deer passing through, or the chirping of the frogs at night. At night, it's pitch dark, and the only light is your campfire. The view is breathtaking, and the colors in the fall are worth the trip... it's a Norman Rockwell scene! We have nine separate sites in this area, group campsites, and cabins throughout our 200 acres of camp. We have the space to accommodate a larger group for family gatherings, church outings, or a friend trip.... just let us know! FYI, we're a Christian campground and do not allow smoking or alcohol on the premises. We do have some restrictions /rules for our furry guests, so please inform us of the type of dog and weight, or refer to our "Rules" for more information. Re: check out times, we're very flexible, and allow extra time at no additional cost as long as campsite is not booked. Thank you.

Do you need to destress? Unwind? Then come to Our Daily Bread Campground, a small piece of heavenly peace & quiet, or as several guests have referred to as one of the quietest place on earth! Our goal is to provide a place for guests to come and debrief, relax and take a break from the busyness of life, to get away from the city, the noise, the lights and see the darkness, stars, wildlife... deers, variety of birds, beaver huts, and enjoy hiking the different terrain... trails deep up in the woods where no one can hear you; get your workout walking our hills, or just walk a more gently trail; take a boat on our lake, a nice view from your cabin. These are newly remodeled, quiet, peaceful cabins nestled up in the woods overlooking our 80-acre lake. Has queen size bed, sofa pull out bed (full), & sleeps 2. It has kitchenette, bathroom, AC, heat, microwave, toaster, fridge, ceiling fan, work space/desk, & free wifi. Also private deck with grill, stove eye. Our camp sits on 200 acres w/ miles of trails, rolling hills, woodlands, farmland, & lots of beauty. No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed on the premises. We provide linen, towels & complimentary rowboat. This is not for everyone, but if you're looking for a little quiet and peace in pure beauty surroundings... we're it!

This is a quiet and peaceful spot to getaway and reflect. The space is clean, quiet, and quaint, include air conditioner and heat. Your spot includes a private deck with gas grill with stove eye for cooking (gas is included), with chairs and table to dine outside and view the lake and surrounding nature; kitchenette inside ( microwave, fridge, sink); bathrooms include walk in shower; living room with nice comfortable love seat and ottoman; sleeping area includes 2 futon bunk beds with futon toppers and blow up mattress for extra comfort if needed; privacy around your cabin hidden by pine trees and overlooking main camp area and lake... and fyi... no permanent campers, so usually very quiet; choose any unused campsites below to use for a campfire or use fire ring close to cabins... lots of firewood available, either stacked or plenty of branches available all for free; lots of wooded and open trails for hiking. Inside cabins sleeps 4 comfortable.

We loved staying here. It was peaceful and quiet, and the views were amazing. Cabin is just as pictured. Debbie and Larry were gracious hosts. Fishing was good - we used one of their boats. I hope to be back again.

Such a beautiful place to stay the weekend. Upon arrival i met Debbie and their sweet lab i believe was named Buster who showed me around the whole campground. Later on in the day i met her husband Larry. Both were just so friendly and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Its a very clean and peaceful campground that sits on a large lake perfect for fishing. One of the nicest camp grounds ive stayed at. We will 100% be back. Thank you Debbie and Larry for your kind hearted hospitality

Excellent experience, remarkable hosts. We parked in a field and walked our gear a short ways to the "wilderness" tent sites -- this was definitely worth it as the sites were very private. The facilities were clean and the property was beautiful. These hosts have a wonderful campground.

I’ve camped out here twice while working in the area, but will undoubtedly make this beautiful place a destination in itself in the future. Completely peaceful, nothing but nature sounds at night. The hosts are the nicest people you’ve ever met…I enjoyed great conversations both visits, and Debbie even made a point of taking a trip from their house down to the campsite to share some freshly picked tomatoes. This place is really something special. I can’t wait to go back.

Camping by a lake with amazing host

My husband and I did one night of car camping at this camp site. It was really peaceful and private. The restrooms and bathroom were clean and well kept. There were even basketball court and volleyball courts! Larry kindly helped us with starting the campfire and Debbie provided us with clear instructions on parking and logistics. It was our first car camping experience so I was worried at first that we may not be comfortable for the night. Larry and Debbie made sure that the campsite was clean and welcoming. Definitely recommend this site. Thank you for this experience!

And everything was beautiful and wonderful. There was ample firewood, but the logs were huge. Hard to carry and impossible to put in the fire. I only brought a hatchet and not an ax so I really couldn't split the wood. But we burned it anyway, our fires were a little bit ridiculous with the size of the logs. The boats were great, the grounds were perfect, the pit toilets were as good as can be, and my friends that took showers said that the showers were fantastic. Our hosts were very genial.

Place is real nice. Definitely quiet and has plenty to do. It's hard to see from the app but if your trailer is much bigger than 17 foot, our 17 footer was pushing it going in there especially if you're not pulling it with a truck. The entrance is beautiful but the pine trees have really grown out chocking the road. I was nervous driving the camper through all the pine branches. Not sure if the rules changed but we were also using a quiet inverter generator and some people complained about it even though it wasn't in the rules. Maybe they have restricted generator use from now on. Bring an axe or your own wood. Wood is free but not split. Other than that if you're tent camping or renting the cabins the place is perfect But it's not so perfect for a travel trailer.

Beautiful area!! Nice and quiet. The hosts are amazing and are very attentive. There’s so much to do and the hiking trails are picture worthy. Definitely a beautiful sunset and sunrise while overlooking the lake. 10/10.

Sites were well kept, clean and great views of lake and wildlife. Pit toilets and hot/cold showers were also clean and worked well. Could not ask for better experience. Very peaceful and quiet and Debbie and Larry are very nice hosts. We would definitely stay there again

The entry driveway has a row of pine trees on either side that are overtaking the driveway itself making it tight to get a vehicle through without scratching the sides of it through the pine boughs. But once you get through that, it is totally worth the effort! This campground is pretty rustic and very peaceful. The camp sites are spacious and have fantastic views of the lake. The wildlife is incredible. We saw turtles, frogs, geese, swans, ducks, turkey, deer and a beaver! The hostess and her husband are two of the friendliest people you will ever meet and were sure to make us feel very welcome and encouraged us to contact them if we needed anything. We had a very relaxing weekend and look forward to camping here again.

Debbie and Larry have quite the peaceful piece of land! I reserved a tent site by the lake for a Sunday. There are only seven sites in that area and when I checked in all the other campers were checking out. So I had the entire place to myself! The sites are as described, simple and with a great view of the Miller Lake. Firewood was available for free but that day none was split. I found some split wood roadside for cheap. I initially reserved a primitive spot bc I was only staying one night, but Debbie suggested the main grounds as there probably wouldn’t be anyone still there. I’m glad she did lol. The primitive sites are just that. A close cluster of mostly dirt sites with fire rings. No picnic tables. A short trek will lead you back to the edge of the lake where the sites are. It reminded me of Boy Scout camping, gathering all your wood, flint and steel etc…But it is as described, so if you’re into it great! Debbie and Larry were super friendly and welcoming. Oh, and Buster! Overall a great experience!

We stayed at a campsite number two. It was very lovely, quiet and peaceful. It was right in front of the lake. The couple was very nice and sweet. They even brought us gas in the evening when we ran out for our generator.. would recommend highly. Much thanks from Kirk and Connie from Pennsylvania traveling to Iowa via a roundabout way.!

I really enjoyed my time there. Very peaceful and the fishing was good. Camphost family was very helpful and nice. Also a young gentleman named Adrian brought me fire wood and split it for me . Can't say enough good things about my stay. 10 out of 10 for me

We had a fantastic stay at this campground! The tent sites were clean, spacious, and surrounded by peaceful nature. It was great to have access to hot showers and clean toilets — a big plus for comfort. One of the highlights was fishing from the boat — the lake was calm and full of fish. Firewood was provided on-site, which made our evenings around the campfire even better. Everything was well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect place for anyone who enjoys tent camping with great fishing, basic comforts, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back!
