My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time on our camping trip this past weekend. The campground was not overcrowded, so which site we stayed at was flexible. We found a site that was perfect for our tent. It overlooked the forest and the pond. There were a perfect amount of trees surrounding us so we could hang our hammocks from them. The site was covered in grass and it offered a picnic table, fresh water access and an electrical box. The bonfire pit was great quality and there is wood offered on site for purchase at a great deal. The portable bathrooms were clean and the groundskeeper was friendly, as well as the other campers. The owners are passionate about what they do and they want everyone who stays to have a great experience. We would definitely come back!

The instructions were pretty clear and the area is very nice. I had to message the host for our site number and some other questions but they responded really quickly which was appreciated. I was a little bummed with the man-made lake because the "shower" option states to "bathe in the lake," but it's quite small and calm, which I wouldn't trust for a bath (running/river water is best). The porta potties and electricity were great additions considering the other sites we stayed at were completely rustic. They also had bundles of wood for $5 - awesome. Overall I'd recommend this place and would probably stay again with the good price.

Small scale campground for those that prefer not to camp in a crowd. Clean sites, water, electric. Not oversold so able to space out from other camps. Family friendly and pet friendly... time to relax around fire when the sun goes down. Self serve Campfire wood for sale on site was a nice perk. Portas were clean and fresh. A new permanent restroom structure is in process and sure to please guests. Our hosts greeted us after set up and shared insights. Ability to communicate through text/Hipcamp communication thread is a nice feature. Would stay here again if in the area ... close to all we needed and sought to venture to. Thank you.

The first Cub Scout camp out for Pack 4053. We had a great time hiking, swimming, fishing and kayaking! Very clean, quiet campground. Loved that there is water and electric at every site.

We were close to other campers but it wasn’t bad, the lots for each camper were the perfect size for our tent, vehicle, fire, picnic table and lots more. There was also a super pretty lake right behind our tent and a lot of space to walk our dogs

Affordable, Clean port-a-pottys, clean water, excellent cell phone reception, nice sized fire ring, and they sell wood on site so bring cash! This was a great little spot near Whitehall, North Muskegon, Silver Lake, and Ludington. It is close to US-31 so you will hear vehicles passing by.

It was very nice. Water at each site was a plus. Great area to walk around the little lake. Communication was fast. The outhouse was not the greatest.

The. stay was good, quiet, and level. It was what we expected. The weather was spectacular. I never saw an employee and the portable toilet needed service.

It was a nice, small camp site. I was only there one night on my way south after taking the Ludington Ferry. Not sure I would have picked it for a longer stay due to how close the camp sites are to each other. Only real bummer was the porta potties had not been serviced in what looked like a while, but maybe I hit it on the day before they would be.

Our stay was lovely. Campground was super easy to find. However, there was a slight mix-up with another group who had reserved our site. We were confused because we didn’t know we could reserve specific sites. We weren’t able to get a hold of the host so we didn’t know what we should do.

Karner Blue Campground
I loved camping on Brody's land, Karner Blue Campground. We stayed a week and we loved it. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The camp was kept very clean and porta potty was clean. The other campers were all respectful of each other and friendly. The camp is in a very good location,7 miles and your on a Beautiful Lake Michigan Beach and area attractions! We will definitely come back to this camp.

The campground property was identified and the roads were clearly marked. We liked being able to choose our campsite upon arrival. The sites were easy to navigate; each had a fire ring and picnic table. The campground was well organized and had firewood for purchase which was great.
The other campers were friendly and helpful.
We were only there for one night but would have been happy to camp for several. It was a great stay!!

Nice and quiet, and the hosts are very friendly. The lake is gorgeous at sunset. The sites are generously sized and have plenty of nice spots for tents. Great spot!

We had a lovely stay at this small campground. Campsites were large and had power and water hookups, which made our stay even more comfortable! There's a small lake nearby to enjoy, fit pits & picnic tables at every site as well as friendly neighbors. Camp was quiet as night and barely could hear any road noise from town. Would definitely stay again!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Karner Blue. We loved the cozy, quiet atmosphere and our kids really enjoyed the little lake which was perfect for skipping stones. We were impressed with the size of bundles of wood for only $4. The host was very nice and responded quickly to messages. We would definitely come back and stay again!!

We absolutely loved it here! It was a nice quiet setting near hiking and biking (I had an awesome ride on the trail, and it was only 1.25 miles from my campsite!) We also checked out a beach, had an awesome fire and walked around the campground a bit with the dogs.
Our site had water and electric and we brought a camper, so we didn’t miss shower facilities, etc. at all. But it sounds like they’re constantly adding new things, and the hosts were so kind. I can’t wait to visit again!

Great spot! My friend and I ended up arriving pretty late to the area and it was so easy to find and settle into! Very quiet and nice place to sleep for the night. Bathrooms very clean!

It's a nice quiet campground. Spots closer to the pond are smaller and better suited for tents. The second row spots are better as pull through for campers or RVs. It appears that every spot has electric (15/30/50) and water. Each site also has a fire ring and picnic table.
There's a dump station near the entrance by the office.
The pond was a little smaller than I expected but it's a beautiful setting. The campground itself is less than an hour drive to several beaches and lighthouses.
The camp hosts weren't terribly helpful. I checked in with them but they didn't warn us about resevered sites. The host did message us about those after we were setup but it wasn't an issue for us. We also booked the site about an hour before arriving.
Lastly, the path from the office to the campground is paved with wood mulch. After a storm, it was rough leaving.
I would highly recommend staying here again and if we're in the area, we'll be back here.

Overall, this was a good and affordable place to camp. I would have liked a more enforced “quiet time” during sleeping hours, as some other campers were pretty loud for a good portion of the night. Also worth mentioning, the camp sites are pretty small and very close to the other camp sites. Not the “hip camp” and “private” feel so much. I feel the listing should have highlighted this close camping situation. We also never met the host. Fire wood is $5 on the site and $4 in person, I felt a bit ripped off there since I bought beforehand.
