Forest Haven Camping offers a mixed experience for campers, with many appreciating the beautiful surroundings, clean facilities, and friendly community atmosphere. The site is particularly praised for being family-friendly, with activities like kayaking, hiking, and clean shower facilities. However, some guests noted the campsites can be quite close together, which might reduce privacy, and noise was an issue for a few, especially during busy times. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for those looking to enjoy nature and community, but tent campers might want to consider potential noise levels.
DONT BRING YOUR TENT!!! Pretty property but that’s about it. So extremely noisy at night it’s insane. I have never complained about noise anywhere, but quiet hours don’t exist here. I hate sounding like a Karen but it was honestly wild. IF YOU HAVE AN RV THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU.
Popped in for one night for the first time and not only was I already excited for how charming they seemed to be, but the weekend happened to be a holiday weekend in October and they had a kid friendly itinerary for the weekend. Very community focussed as a site and very friendly! Will definitely return.
This was a great spot for tent camping. There was so much to do and explore. Hiking, kayaks, trails, etc. The community and atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. Many friendly animals were around camp! We would definitely stay again and recommend!
Small, but wonderful. I camped and wouldn't have liked it if the other sites were booked, because they are REALLY close together. Luckily it was just me and 1 other tent. It was so peaceful; at night with the insects and the morning there were so many birds singing! Bathrooms are clean. Kayaking was fun and I caught my biggest fish ever!
Very nice RV camp with full hookups. We brought our teardrop and two dogs. Picturesque lake that we definitely would have paddled on if it was warmer. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. Good walking trails in the woods. The camp had a variety of seasonal RV campers, some short term, and a few tent campers in the separate tent area closer to the lake. Will definitely stay again!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a very pleasant experience at Forest Haven Camping. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful nature that made it easy to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it truly felt like a little getaway from the busy city life. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were convenient and tidy. It’s also a wonderful place to bring a dog — plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. Highly recommend.
Nice place for the family. There’s a large lake/pond with water toys and a swimming pool and jungle gym for the kids plus a ping pong table, fuze ball, and pool table. There’s shade where the RV’s park and picnic tables and firepit The management staff is very helpful and friendly.
It was wonderful finding a place to stay for the weekend on short notice that had electricity and water for the weekend! Loved how they called to see if we would be there by 8 pm when the office closed so we could make arrangements to get in when we arrived, but we ended up getting there in time! Our site was perfect for our first time van camping with an attached tent on the back of the van! We had a view of the pond and the site and grounds were extremely clean! Staff was super friendly as well as the campers around us! If you have a golf cart , we wish we did, you will love it, especially the trails! Very relaxing and fun atmosphere! Loved seeing the goats on the property and how much the kids enjoyed walking them on leashes around the grounds! Seems like a great place for kids and adults! Thank you for a great experience, Forest Haven, and we hope to return soon!
Good campsite, lovely host. The wifi signal was too weak and there was only one restroom/shower facility in the entire campsite. You will need to walk quite a bit to get the restroom.
Well maintained, very clean, very spacious lots even for our motorhome. Clean laundry, clean bathrooms, and a beautiful little walking trails and swimming pond.
Brad liked the laid-back ambience. I liked that too, that there weren’t parties into the night and it was more family oriented. There was definitely something for every age group. Bathroom were spotless. Everything was well kept. Very nice trails. You’ll see us again.
It was nice, a little muddy due to all the rain they had that week. The creek was nice to listen to while sitting around. The shower house was cleaning good.
Perfect spot! Laid back and peaceful place to camp. We was able to fish, go hiking, and have a great camping trip. I would say the shower house is great but kind of a walk from tent camping area.
Amazing view! The people and staff were so nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and there were so many things to do. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but will be coming back for sure!
We enjoyed camping at Forest Haven RV Park. The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. The walking trails were great. We will definitely camp there again.
Great experience, very helpful staff, nice campsites.
If you are staying at tent sites, bring a longer extension cord. 100 footer will be long enough for any tent site.
What a nice campground! Cleanest shower/bathroom house I've seen in a bit. The owners were very nice and the community of campers were very kind. We tent camped and the sites were spacious and in a perfect location. The sounds of nature were present and I felt like we were in the middle of the woods instead of our campsite. Great place and we will definitely be back!
It was such a great place, I extended my stay twice! If I’m back in the area, this will be my go-to. It’s a very quiet property, especially with seasonals. The owners were responsive and kind. The location was beautiful.
omg omg me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves at this campsite the owners was very nice and had everything we needed the whole spot was so beautiful and breathtaking me and my friends are coming back every summer!!!
The hosts were very accommodating with our late arrival and we were able to have a large area due to not being other tent campers. The showers/toilets were relatively clean. Lots of things to do in the camp, but we weren’t able to get around to it.
We loved calling at Forest Haven! The restrooms and shower were recently refreshed and everything was very clean! The swimming pool and lake with kayaks and paddleboards is worth coming back for!
