This property and farm has been in our family for 3 generations. In 1964 my grandfather started the campground due to limited camping at New Germany. My father tells stories of it being filled with guests all summer long! Over the years there was few upgrades and now it's in need of a facelift. Landscaping, electric upgrades and bathhouse remodels were completed Spring 2021. We will continue to renovate in phases it's been a labor of love, but you can still see the beauty of this rural location and enjoy the peace and quiet. Hope you enjoy your stay. Lots of trees, shade and nature. It's located near New Germany State Park, 1.5 miles by car, less than a mile by foot. The state park has a lake and hiking trails. Garrett County has so much to offer, waterfalls, lakes, hiking, skiing, Amish gifts, history, fresh air, beautiful scenery. The campground was first started in 1964 by my grandparents, we are currently completing renovations in phases.

Sleepy Hollow Campground is a family campground. Tent sites are in designated open area among trees and nature. Campers may select their favorite spot in the designated area upon arrival. First come, first serve. There are fire pits and tents throughout the area that's designated for tent campers. These tent sites do not have electricity, if you want electricity, book an RV_Tent site with electricity.

Our cabins are cozy A-frame cabins that include a bed, electric, Heat_fan, table and chairs. There is a campfire outside and also a small charcoal grill that you can use. You will use the shared campground bathroom facilities which are just steps away from the cabin. Guest must bring their own linens for the cabins.

Hi, I would definitely come back to this place the owner was veré kind and helpful restocking the firewood the little convenient store was so helpful for the little things that we need during our stay. Went I got there it was raining and there was no to many people but I can see this place a bit pack during high season. 9/10

Sleepy Hollow Cabins
The a-frame cabin was very clean, easy to keep warm with the space heater, and comfortable! The campground was busy, but this was too be expected on a holiday weekend. The campsites were just much closer together than I had expected. It was nice to have a trail near by to take short walks on. The bathhouse was clean. Angela said hello as I was leaving, and she was very kind!

Sleepy Hollow was a wonderful camp for a weekend get away- especially if you're looking to spend time in the local state parks for hiking and boating without being tied to one in particular. Angela was a wonderful host and the improvements made to the campground are evident and made with love. Can't wait for our next visit!

Sleepy Hollow Cabins
Had an excellent time at Sleepy Hollow. I was in the area for a day hike so I didn't bring any of my camping gear. When I finished my hike I didn't want to go home and lucked out and found the glamping spots at sleepy hollow. Was my first time glamping, as im usually much more of a tent camper. Was a really nice change of pace. Still in the great outdoors, but with a few more modern comforts like electricity, frigerator, and heaters! The glamping store was cute and convenient, wood on site was dry hardwood and reasonably priced. Thank you Angela for sharing your beautiful land!

Nice setup and location. Would stay here again. Close to several state parks. Restaurants nearby as well as hiking and biking.

Camping here was amazing. People were friendly and nice and the camp ground was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back again! We didn't want to leave because of having such a good time here.

Very nice campground. The shop was cute and had just about anything you might have forgotten, especially if you need cold weather gear! The wood provided on site is the best you could ask for - it was incredibly dry and easy to lite. When we stayed, all of the guests at the site were fantastic neighbors, felt very comfortable with our toddler! The bath house was fantastic and boy was that shower delightfully hot when you want it to be! I would definitely come back!

I loved the Safari Cabin at Sleepy Hallows. The place was extremely clean and beautifully complemented the untouched nature around it. The camp is equipped with Starlink, so connectivity was never an issue. Bonus: The highlight of our trip was the people we met! We encountered some really open and fun individuals during our stay.

RV_Tent with electric Sleepy Hollow
My group of friends and cousins had a blast at Sleepy Hollow! Angela was super friendly and very accommodating and was helpful with whatever we needed. The site is a loop and isn’t huge overall but there is enough space between each site. That being said we were loud and having a lot of fun but were still respectful of the quiet hours. We appreciate the hospitality, the campground set up and will definitely love to come back!

Sleepy Hollow is a hidden gem! Angie was there when we checked in, so it was easy! Central location to hikes, next door to a state park, only a few minutes to PA. Great location, quiet, and the bathhouse was stocked and clean! Won't hesitate to book again!

Very nice environment and camping sites. I loved the tent sites they feel very secluded and some offer a deeper woods feel. Wildlife is in abundance and I adore it. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Very happy with my experience here and highly recommend!

This was a cute, quiet little secluded place that was hidden. We booked last minute and communication w/ Angela was great! We had a RV electric hookup site. Place was clean, bathrooms and showers were nice. Our truck battery was dead in the AM and I msged Angela and at the time her uncle was on the property to help. Definitely plan to stay again!

Great place close to fun things to explore. Small campground nestled in the woods. Sites close together but everything you need to enjoy your stay. Bath house is great condition. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at this little campground. We booked the smaller cabin but Angie was kind enough to switch us to a medium size cabin which was perfect. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. My kids loved it so much that we ended up staying for an extra night. Highly recommend this site!!

My family and I had a great time camping here at Sleepy Hollow. Campground was well maintained and had all the amenities you could want for a camping stay. Stacy, the host, was accommodating and very hospitable! Plenty of things to do in the surrounding area as well! Would definitely return!

I loved my stay at Angela’s camp site! It was a cold off season stay, but perfect. Even woke up to some snow ☺️ the night was quiet and I got great rest, and wish I could have stayed longer to explore the area and have a cozy fire going. The bath house was also fantastic! I felt safe and comfortable, which means a lot as a solo female traveler. Hoping to return for a longer stay someday!

RV_Tent electric Sleepy Hollow
I was told I’d be the only camper, but when I drove through, some of the long term renters creeped me out, so I left. The cabins looked nice, but definitely did not feel that it was a safe place to camp alone,, so I went to my family’s house instead. It was also much farther west than anticipated. Having a clearly marked office would be helpful.
