Camping site number one is located at the base of the property in an open area. That’s perfect for a camper. Back your rig in and set up camp. There’s enough room to set up a fire pit and a picnic table nearby. It’s very quiet and the night skies are amazing. Walk up to the top of the hill for gorgeous views of Mount Katahdin and surrounding areas.

I had a great time at Douglas’s site. The views of the night sky are incredible. It’s a very peaceful and quiet place to unwind. The directions were very clear and communication with Douglas was excellent.
