Conor’s Landing Rare find ! Private two acre lakefront lot on beautiful Orange Lake in Whiting Maine with a single site for one motor home or RV. Easy lakeside access for large or small Rvs with brand new hook ups for water, sewer and electricity. This is a one of a kind site to spend a week, month or entire season with complete privacy. Magnificent post card quality sunrises and sunsets, perfect for kayaking and canoeing on Orange Lake and the entire Orange River Heritage Preserve, great fishing for bass , pickerel and perch, abundant wild life including deer, eagles, loons beavers and more. Property is approximately one hour from Schoodic Point and Ellsworth. It is approximately one half hour from Campobello Island , Canada (Franklin Roosevelt’s summer home) , Rouque Bluffs State Park, and Sandy River Beach (ocean swimming) and Lubec, a beautiful ocean side community which is the easternmost point in the United States. In addition, there are dozens of hiking trails with all degrees of difficulty, owned and maintained by the Maine Heritage Trust. Lot amenities also include large sweeping access for Rvs of any size, easy hook up for all utilities, launch area for kayaks and canoes, and large level viewing area to relax and enjoy the lake with fire pit and picnic table. The perfect campsite!

We'd never used Hipcamp before, but some friends highly recommended it, so we thought we'd give it a try. If you like a very private and quiet site, and like being serenaded to sleep by loons and a nearby duet of owls, then this is the site for you. The site is very well maintained, and to us, the perfect campsite. The lake is beautiful and just right for canoeing or kayaking. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Great private RV spot

This was a nice private camp spot that still had all the RV hook ups. The forested area by the lake was very beautiful. Easy to find. And great location near the bold coast.

A lovely private campsite on the edge of a pond For an RV, there are electric, sewer and water hook-ups Everything is brand new The outhouse is well built There is a fire ring, fire wood, and a chair to enjoy the view and fire. Loved being private

LOVED THIS SPOT!

This spot was amazing. The lake is beautiful, and the moss bog surrounding Connors Landing is magical. I would highly recommend this spot. It's camping at its finest, as other reviewers mention. We will hopefully return for more camping here! Note: We have a Ford F150, and we pulled a 15-foot camper on an extension so we can drop our back gate to access the bed on the truck. So, it's more like an 18-foot camper, plus the long truck, and it would have been tight turning around. We actually just backed out of the drive (the drive is VERY WIDE). It was no problem. But it would be tight for a super long rig.

Lakefront, private, and beautiful!

Connor's Landing was beautiful and well appointed, we absolutely would recommend it! We used it as a base camp to hike the Cutler Public Land Reserve trails. The site was private but easy to find. We were tenting, but there was an open flat area for an RV or Trailer. We heard owls, red squirrels, and some geese, and enjoyed the lake view from the site. There is a little path down to the shore with gorgeous moss. The site has a fire pit and picnic table and a few chairs. There is a very clean and thoughtfully built outhouse. Everything about the site makes it clear that it is cared for! We ran into some car issues at the end of our stay and Justin was super helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to help us! We would absolutely recommend this site!

Lovely, quiet campsite

The site is very clean and QUIET. A beautiful view of the lake and a small path to walk down to the water. The outhouse, water, and other amenities are well taken care of. Definitely would stay here again. The only potential issue is that the RV spot is on the top level of the site and the fire pit, picnic table, and tent area are on the bottom level. This would be challenging for someone who has mobility issues. The site is also quite dusty but we’ve had no rain for a while. Still, very nice, quiet spot.

Camping at it finest!

Nice place on quiet lake. Bring your kayak. . Has electric hookup and water.Very reasonably priced for all it offers. We will be back! Al and Lori
