It is approximately one half hour from Campobello Island , Canada (Franklin Roosevelt’s summer home) , Rouque Bluffs State Park, and Sandy River Beach (ocean swimming) and Lubec, a beautiful ocean side community which is the easternmost point in the United States. In addition, there are dozens of hiking trails with all degrees of difficulty, owned and maintained by the Maine Heritage Trust. Lakefront, private, and beautiful!

Connor's Landing was beautiful and well appointed, we absolutely would recommend it! We used it as a base camp to hike the Cutler Public Land Reserve trails. The site was private but easy to find. We were tenting, but there was an open flat area for an RV or Trailer. We heard owls, red squirrels, and some geese, and enjoyed the lake view from the site. There is a little path down to the shore with gorgeous moss. The site has a fire pit and picnic table and a few chairs. There is a very clean and thoughtfully built outhouse. Everything about the site makes it clear that it is cared for! We ran into some car issues at the end of our stay and Justin was super helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to help us! We would absolutely recommend this site!

Lovely, quiet campsite

The site is very clean and QUIET. A beautiful view of the lake and a small path to walk down to the water. The outhouse, water, and other amenities are well taken care of. Definitely would stay here again. The only potential issue is that the RV spot is on the top level of the site and the fire pit, picnic table, and tent area are on the bottom level. This would be challenging for someone who has mobility issues. The site is also quite dusty but we’ve had no rain for a while. Still, very nice, quiet spot.

Nice place on quiet lake. Bring your kayak. . Has electric hookup and water.Very reasonably priced for all it offers. We will be back! Al and Lori
