Come to a campsite near you that is just outside the city, but a place to let go of the wifi and be in Nature! We have Ground dwelling and tree dwelling sites Available. Our site is about 8 mins from Cankton and 20 mins from Lafayette. So there is a place to stop in to get water and not really necessary but more wood . We do supply Water if you need it, and can set up a shower if you request it.

This is a solo campers dream to get away, all you need is your food and a good smores kit and hot dog roaster!! If you need water it is available upon request. I recommend a good chair when you come and a good book!! The Tent has a pillow and sleeping bag, you can bring your own if you like as well. The Fire pit is a shared spot for the tents in the front.

This is a hanging site for Hammocking ,De' David is adventure rich and hidden away in the back of the woods. Its a bit of a hike in, not bad, but its a bit of a walk to get to the back with your gear. It has a fire ring , all you need is the food and marshmallows !! Grab you a book , test your gear , enjoy being in nature!

This was a beautiful location and great introduction to Louisiana terrain for a family who had never been :) Our stay got cut short due to some environmental influences (some heavy rain and brown recluses within the tent). Would have loved to stay if we prepped better and didn't have a young child with. Only complaint, is parking is described on site, I would say its better stated as on property, as this is not a drive up to your site and unload kind of experience. If we would have known, we would have packed much lighter. Regardless, a beautiful spot, accommodating host, and lots of wildlife to be heard at night!

Our stay at De' Thibodeaux was great. The forest surrounding our camp felt private and secluded. The open grass fields between the campsites created an open air atmosphere. At night, you could hear a symphony of crickets and owls. The lighted bridge across the canal into the trail felt magical. My only drawback was that I brought too much gear. I was not prepared for the amount of walking it would take to get from the campsite, back to the vehicle. Otherwise, it was an amazing area.And a lot of culture and sites to be seen in surrounding areas.
