Island Side Barbershop and RV Site is a Veteran owned business located in the peaceful town of Ventress, LA. There are many beautiful homes and historic land marks close by. A 3 minute drive takes you to False River with boat launch access. Only 8 minutes from downtown New Roads, LA. Or drive across the mighty Mississippi River via the Audobon Bridge only 15 minutes away.Each site contains a covered cypress swing. A fire pit with fire utensils and cooking grate. Also a cypress bench that converts to a half picnic table. Park your camper on our large limestone pad and get a fire going. Only a 2 minute drive to the beautiful oxbow lake, False River. Walk across the street to the Island Oasis convenience store or drive 2 minutes to the dollar store for anything you may need.

Island Side RV Site
This was a great safe place to stay while visiting friends in St Francisville LA. The sites are well maintained, large and level, easy to get into, great water pressure and super quiet at night. The gas station grocery store across the street had everything you need. Great beer, wine and liquor selection. I would highly recommend.

I loved this campsite! The site is very spacious, safe and well-maintained. The strip lighting and the porch swing are a nice touch and make it feel inviting and special. Everything was clean and thoughtfully laid out. I highly recommend this place.

Really neat site in the middle of a swampy area full of frogs and even a young alligator. Bring your bug spray and a sense of adventure! The hosts were so kind and made me feel immediately at home. The camper pad was perfect and felt very private.

We absolutely loved this spot!! Quiet & convenient to I10. Properly suited for my 30 ft trailer & had full hookups! My dad and I enjoyed our night there and the cats sat outside enjoying the stars!
