Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife around but no hunting is allowed. Our designated tent sites do have firepits and picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There is a centrally located bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $15 per bundle and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is located at the tent sites), you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs.

Hilltop Cabin

Our Hilltop cabin is a 1 room cabin with a queen bed(sheets/blankets/pillows provided). couch, and loft area. It has electric and water at site, There is a dorm size fridge, microwave, grill, firepit(firewood provided for a fee), Bluetooth speaker/FM radio and tv with antenna channels/DVD player. It is located within a short walking distance to our rustic bath house (Towels provided for a fee) Pets are also welcome for an additional fee. Centrally located on our farm overlooking a beautiful field and within short walking distance to hiking trails. It is accessible via a gravel road which does not show on the location map. perfect for those who love to camp, be in nature but prefer a bed after enjoying whatever the day holds.

Sunrise Hideaway

Our Sunrise Hideaway cabin is nestled among the woods overlooking a beautiful field and not far from some hiking trails. It has many comforts of home such as electricity, heat/ac, running water. There is no wi-fi and cell phone signal varies however there is a tv w/antenna and a DVD/Blu-ray player. There is a gas grill, microwave, dishes, dorm size fridge, toaster oven/air fryer and a Bluetooth speaker/FM radio. This cabin also has a cozy electric fireplace that can be used with or without heat for perfect ambiance. There is plenty of hiking both on and off trails. Laurel Gorge, Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake and Grayson Lake are just a few attractions within short driving distance from us.

The General Cabin

Setting back about 1/2 mile into our 375 acre farm is The General, a 2bedroom one bath cabin. It has many comforts of home such as electricity, heat/ac, running water. There is no wi-fi and cell phone signal varies however there is a tv w/antenna and a DVD/Blu-ray player. There is plenty of hiking both on our property or on Daniel Boone Forest which surrounds us. Laurel Gorge, Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake and Grayson Lake are just a few attractions within short driving distance from us.

Setting back about 1/2 mile into our 375 acre farm is our Bowman Cabin. Kick back and relax in this beautiful open concept cabin on a small duck pond. It has many comforts of home such as electricity, heat/ac, running water. There is no wi-fi and cell phone signal varies however there is a tv w/antenna and a DVD/Blu-ray player. There is plenty of hiking both on and off trails. Laurel Gorge, Red River Gorge, Cave Run Lake and Grayson Lake are just a few attractions within short driving distance from us.

Nuttin Fancy

Pitch your tent on top of Oak Ridge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Plenty of hiking trails onsite or go off trail for some amazing adventures. There are 2 waterfalls within a short hike and plenty of small creeks and a river to explore for the experienced hikers. There is a rustic bathhouse centrally located on the property that has a shower/toilet/sink. There is also a spigot to get potable water. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee and must be leashed at all times. We are within short driving distance to Laurel Gorge, Carter Caves, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake and the Red River Gorge area.

Tent sites 6 sites

Sunset Ridge is set back about 2 miles from the entrance to our property and has an amazing view. A perfect spot to get away from it all. Plenty of trails for hiking and many spots to see wildlife from.

Peachtree Lot is located about 1.5 miles from the entrance to the property and is set off the side of the gravel road with the woods as a backdrop. It sets close to one of many hiking trails on the property and is a short walk from our Sunset Ridge location. There is a firepit and picnic table for your use. Bring your sense of adventure,your tents and any the necessities for being out in the woods.

We have 5 spots cleared for tents only in the woods or in a field or you can hike around and find your own spot. Not accessible for vehicles but you can park up near our bath house. We will gladly help you get there with our side by side if we know ahead of time.

The host was very accommodating and kind. We got caught in a storm and they let us stay in one of their cabins. The camping spot itself is really nice. It's secluded and has a beautiful view. They also have lots of amenities. The bathhouse included toiletries and they had a wifi spot with free water and juice. Good price and well worth staying if you plan on hiking there or nearby/at RRG

The General Cabin

Cozy little cabin on an absolutely breathtaking piece of land!! Especially with all the rain lately, the waterfalls were really flowing! The beds in the cabin were super comfortable and we all slept great. Liz and her husband were so nice and very helpful!!

Sunset Ridge

Had a great time with some friends at the sunset ridge tent site. Property was beautiful and lots of trails to explore. We went down to the creek to check out the caves and rock formations. Would highly recommend this site if you’re looking for a place to hike and explore.
