Don't fret about site as you may choose after arrival - sites affected by weather changes, eg downpours. We are a delightfully funny almost 5 acre farmstead built by Swedish Pioneers in 1876. Our Hipcamp was started in 2023. We have a variety of areas for vehicles, tents and small campers midst leaning trees and funky old farm buildings. Fenced paddocks to run free. Well water via hydrant, some drinking water available. Outhouse. Access to electricity, if you have an extension cord. Lots of campfire wood to collect, burn and take. The Milky Way on a clear night. - SMACK IN THE BELLY BUTTON of the U.S.A. We are 30 minutes from the intersection of INTERSTATE 70 (east-west) and INTERSTATE 135 (north-south) - CREATURES: The Host Charlie Dog, shy Klaus dog, 2 sheep, unseen cats and a goat named Dolly. All love to hangout. - VERY SAFE. Very popular with solo travelers cuz we have gates and we are PROTECTIVE HOSTS who care and look after you as if we were all one dysfunctional family. - PARK AT YOUR CAMPSITE - RUN WILD AND FREE at sites in the acre paddocks with 5' fencing MORE MESSAGING THAN USUAL. Beverly, Human Host, and not Canine Hosts, must know ahead when to unlock the gate and help you get settled. Special requests best made before arrival. A sense of humor and flexible joy for creative chaos will help give you a funny little farm experience. (More apt, Funny Farm Experience). LINDSBORG, just 3 miles away, has a population of 3,200, but White’s Foodliner is a grocery store with a Swedish aisle, our local Geographic Photographer is at Small World Gallery. Shops have toys, Swedish gifts, art, homemade ice cream, etc. Pharmacy, post office. Dala Horses every corner. LOTS of events. AUGUST NOTE: There is little shade during heat of day, so alright for those arriving in evening and leaving in morning, but not for those staying during day. This cozy corner, next to The Whitehouse, is a sweet spot to pitch your tent or vehicle. Trees and front row view of Kansas sunset. The Whitehouse, a chicken coop built before the 1876 home, is filled with hay and soft places to sit or sleep during a storm. The Whitehouse is within an acre area surrounded by a five foot welded wire fence, so you can let your restless dog, grumpy child and other humans run wild and free. It is most private area in the Middlemost Paddock dispersal option. Campfire is ready, if no wind ban.

Pleasant grassy areas available to pitch your tent right next to your vehicle. The paddock is in middle of the five acres and closest to Jon the Outhouse and water hydrant. The one plus acre is surrounded by five foot welded wire fencing so animals and wild children are safe to run free.

NOTE: Everything is negotiable prior to arrival. Nestled in a wee field, you are surrounded by aging trees, woodpiles, scrub brush, the Barn and the “Silo with an Echo”. Just beyond the trees is the expanse of Kansas seasonal wheat, soybean or the simplicity of a winter plain. THE BARN is available, with prior consent, as a shelter from a storm, dinner at our old family table and chairs, and quasi- shop of antiques, bird feeders and sundries from our Almost Estate Sale. THE SILO WITH AN ECHO is another form of entertainment. Sing opera, Neil Young, or Miley Cyrus at the mouth of this ancient cement tower. A bit of a trail around the trees is being born for those who need a walk-about after a day on the road.

Nights with Miss Gypsy, our sweet little 1948 Teardrop Camper, are cozy and worthy of fantasy. A place to romance a book or a lover, listen to the Barred Owls or just to be grateful for a place out of the rain and off the ground. Gypsy is basically a tent on wheels. You can sit or lie down inside, another words, cannot stand up. Comfortable for one or two less-than-six-foot tall people. She is said to be cramped with two tall humans and a 90 pound dog named Rover. The cotton sheets are dried on the line and there are handmade blankets. An extension cord connects her to the electrical outlet in the Alpaca Coop. The charged battery gives you lights, music, overhead fan. Gypsy’s backside pops up to a butcher block counter. The mini retro breakfast center will brew coffee, toast a bagel, griddle eggs and pancakes. To add to the luxuries, TV tray tables, outdoor chairs and campfire can be requested. NOTE: Ideas are needed to make Gypsy more attractive, exotic and uptown, or at least a journal worthy entry.

Beverly’s hipcamp was the perfect place to stop on our roadtrip out west. The dogs had so much fun exploring the space and Beverly was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It unexpectedly rained most of the night and we were able to set up a cozy spot to relax and unwind after a long day of driving inside the Whitehouse. We loved the spot so much we will be staying on our return trip back home!!!

Beverly’s place was the perfect respite after a long day on the road. Her directions were easy to follow and she let me in when I arrived. The setting was lovely and having the sheep, goat and dogs come say hello was wonderful. Overall wonderful value and a lovely host!

Beverly was so kind and welcoming. She made sure I had everything I needed, and blessed me with good conversation to boot. Gypsy was perfect for my needs, and the wide open sky and almost full moon were gorgeous.

We had such a wonderful time at Beverly's! It's a very peaceful spot, and Beverly made sure we had everything we could POSSIBLY want. She even brought us a table and chairs to use. We really couldn't have asked for a better host, and her animals were just as wonderful too. Still, one of the MOST outstanding things about our stay was getting to know Beverly herself. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stay there.

I had to cancel my trip due to unexpected circumstances. The owner reached the day of trip with easy instructions. She even offered a refund! Totally unexpected, great leadership! Hopefully we will be there next year.

Beverly's place was a perfect spot for us. We felt secluded back behind the white shed. The location is entirely fenced in. I recommend taking a walk or bike ride on the trail adjacent to the property. Beverly is an involved host and will make sure you have everything you need. We would stay again.

Fairly level, quiet campsites with lots of leeway in where you park your vehicle. Charming small farm atmosphere with what Beverly called her “motley crew” of two sheep, one goat and two small, well-behaved dogs which got along well with our dog. Meadowlark Trail is about five minutes’ walk away.

This was one of those stays where everything just felt right. The campsite itself is spacious and peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful garden that carries its own calm energy. I loved the land—it holds you in a way that feels grounding and free at the same time. Beverly's openness added to the experience without ever feeling intrusive. She even offered me the option of staying in her little teardrop RV, which was such a generous touch. Her dogs, were friendly, playful, and brought a lot of joy to the space. Honorable mention to the sheep and goat who were also a very nice addition to the farm experience. Overall, it was more than just camping—it was connection, beauty, and ease. A place where you can breathe deep, feel welcome, and truly enjoy the adventure. Make sure you get a tour of the space, especially the garden! What a pleasant surprise. Thanks, Beverly.

We had an amazing stay. Beverly greeted us with enthusiasm and kindness. The site was very well maintained, and even had power, bathrooms, a cooking area and more. We recommend staying here!

Camping here was amazing!! Beverly was so welcoming and hospitable, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of trees for shade and there are lights hung up so hanging out after sunset was very comfortable. The animals were super sweet!

Our group of four had the most wonderful stay at Beverly’s farm. Beverly is an amazing host, as well as person! She made sure we had everything we needed and was very thorough with instructions. We enjoyed getting to know her and her two cute pups. The goat and sheep were a fun addition! Close drive to Lindsborg and Coronado Heights, which offers the most beautiful sunset. We enjoyed every bit of our trip and will definitely be making our way back soon!

Hidden gem in Kansas

What a great place to land in Kansas. I found this place by searching “unique campsites” and it delivered. I got in and Beverly showed me a nice spot with lots of camp amenities I wasn’t expecting like electricity and an upgraded sleeping spot! The peaceful animals added to the vibe. Then I set out exploring the area on my bike. There is a lovely bike trail that sets off basically right from the property that takes you to a quaint and interesting little town. For me the best feature of the town was a municipal pool with a $2 admission! If, like me, you love a place to swim to cool off from a day on the road, this one’s got it! As a woman traveling alone I also felt very safe here which is another huge plus. One note, even with bug spray I got a ton of bites, so make sure you bring the best you got cause the mosquitos here are beasts. Beverly will tell you that too. Up until now my favorite spot to stop on my annual trip to Colorado was a place in nearby Salina. Now I have this one too. There must be some unknown quiet magic in this part of the country.

We loved our stay at Beverly’s place. It was a great, safe location near so many unique Kansas landmarks. We had everything we needed and Beverly was so helpful in offering nearby attractions, recommendations for restaurants and shops. One of our dogs made a new best friend with her dog Charlie, they were inseparable the entire trip. Overall, I would recommend the property for fun things to explore (quite a few buildings on the property), peaceful and isolated, farm animals are fun, outhouse bathroom quite nice, electricity and access to well water, campfires and space for the dogs to roam.

Oh my, my hubby and I cant say enough good things about our visit. Beverly is beyond the nicest hostess. If you need anything. She had it all. We loved that everything was fenced in. I think our doggies had the best camping trip ever. So secluded and with the beauty of trees. Just added to the omninance. Just relax and enjoy. Oh and the outhouse is so adorable I have never been in such the cutest thing ever. Hand sanitizer, spray to smell nice, trashcan, and I have had a stroke so mobility is less than good. However, I don't use a walker. I use a walking stick. Anyhow, in the outhouse has like a handicap potty sea this helps me allot get up and down. I hope everyone has an opportunity to go here. I just can't say how enough how much fun we had here.

My boyfriend and I had a great time during our short trip! Beverly is fantastic, ensuring we had everything to have the best experience for any type of camper! Great communication, flexibility, and overall just really kind. The pets on her land are timid at first but are sweethearts, Beverly ensured we were comfortable and offered options if we didn’t want to be around the animals. (But seriously they’re so sweet and Beverly gave us some food to win them over😄). Felt like I was staying with family, we are already planning a second trip here next year

We loved staying the night at Beverly’s. From the moment you pull in, it feels like you just made to your friends house. My son got multiple tours of the garden and helped with the sheep chores. A special memory for an unconventional trip.

Beverly is the sweetest! She's so easy-going and kind, and her space is a dream. I stayed in the Gypsy camper for a night while driving from Colorado to Illinois, and it was the perfect lil getaway. Beverly even let me feed her sheep and goats in the morning! This is the perfect spot if you're looking for good conversation and good vibes.

Perfect place to get away and have some peace! Beverly is an incredibly gracious host and you feel like family the moment you arrive. The camper was comfortable and warm and it’s nestled among the trees. My son and I will definitely camp here again!
