In 2021, the City of Maquoketa, in collaboration with local partners like Maquoketa State Bank, established a dog park within the fenced area of Horseshoe Pond. This dedicated space allows your furry friends to romp and play freely, ensuring they enjoy the great outdoors just as much as you do. The campground is equipped to accommodate various types of campers, including motorhomes, pull-behinds, and tents. To preserve the integrity of the campground, all camping activities must take place on designated gravel pads.
