The Paris Crossing Hideaway Escape to the heart of South Central Indiana at our peaceful, 1.5-acre wooded retreat. Whether you’re rolling in with an RV, pitching a tent under mature oaks, or looking for a unique indoor camping experience in our heated pole barn, our site serves as the perfect basecamp for your Hoosier State adventures. We limit reservations to one person, family or group so you will enjoy all the spaces without others to disrupt your experience. The Space & Amenities * Versatile Camping: We welcome tent campers looking for a quiet wooded corner, RVs (up to 30ft), and guests who want to stay in our spacious pole barn. * Hookups & amp; Comforts: Stay powered up with 30 amp electric and fresh potable water. After a long day of hiking, refresh in our on-site shower. Porta-potty available for all campers. * The Pole Barn: Our 20x24 garage/pole barn is equipped with power and heat, offering a sturdy, weather-proof alternative to traditional tenting—perfect for early spring or late fall stays. Also has a shower, kitchen sink, refrigerator, full-size bed and seating options. *There is a porta-potty for all campers. Explore South Central Indiana We are strategically located just minutes away from some of the region’s best natural treasures: * Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge: A paradise for birdwatchers and nature photographers, featuring wetlands and boardwalks. * Hardy Lake State Recreation Area: Only 10 miles away for boating, fishing, and swimming at the beach. * Tribbett’s Woods Nature Preserve: Visit one of the few remaining "near-virgin" forests in Indiana, home to massive 150-foot beech and oak trees. * Local Charm: Explore the historic Paris Crossing area, known for its railroad heritage and the nearby Tobias Bridge.
