Property used to be part of the Oregon Trail. Its history also included being a dairy farm and a corn field. Now a pretty yellow house sits on it. This large back field is empty, just waiting for you to park. There’s an outside bathroom- toilet and sink you may use.

This campsite offers a clean, quiet, and conveniently located spot for travelers, whether you're in an RV or pitching a tent. Many reviewers appreciated the clean restroom facilities, easy access from the highway, and the peaceful setting amid cornfields. Kim, the host, is noted for her excellent communication and accommodating nature, making guests feel welcomed and safe. However, some did mention the lack of shade during the day, so plan accordingly if visiting in hot weather.
Very clean and safe place to spend the night. Kim was a great communicator. Access to a clean restroom with flush toilet (inside a vinyl shed) was a very pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend this site for RV (only a few sites) and tent camping (well-maintained grass area).
The site was clean and easy to find, the host was friendly and responded quickly to my messages. The site was mostly quiet except occasional dog barking. For most of the day there was very little shade, something to plan for. The site is dog friendly but note that there are seasonal foxtails so check first before you walk your dog. This would be a nice place for an overnight stop off and worked well for me since I was away during the daytimes. In hot weather you wouldn't want to spend all day here due to lack of shade. In mid June there was no shade until about 5 PM.
We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem near Caldwell, Idaho. The campsite was well maintained, quiet, and far exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful amenities, including a clean restroom, made for a very comfortable stay. If you're looking for a convenient overnight stop with great hosts and excellent facilities, this place is hard to beat. Highly recommended!
Kim was a great hostess. Quick to respond and was accommodating as can be. As a solo female traveler, safety is so important and I felt so safe there. I met other gracious women there. I would definitely return.
Site advertised with electrical hookup but none available. Host not present and not available via HipCamp to address the issue. Space not very large field for 6 possible sites. Sites were not particularly even. Location was conveniently located off highway for a 1 night stay and price was good. But I don't think we will choose to stay there again.
Parking is in a dirt backyard next to a cornfield, which I thought was neat. It looks like they were in the process of planting new trees to add shade.
There is a large common grass area with a fire pit that can be shared with other campers. They have a bathroom in a shed. That may sound off-putting, but it was very clean, nice, and unique!! Also, without hook-ups, it was convenient to have a bathroom on site.
We were in the area to visit friends so we didn't spend a lot of time at the site during the day. It was quiet and peaceful at night. Kimberly made sure to call and check in on us after we arrived. She was super friendly.
No issues whatsoever camping here. Easy to find, easy access to a bathroom, easy communication with host, and nice and quiet at night. All in all, a great experience.
This pla e is really nice, the house has the old southern house vive with big trees, Kim is a great host, she tried to accommodate all my needs, the driveway down to the house it's gravel but really very easy , I've made it with my 28ft trailer.
You can use the firepit, she has smores ready to go.
I would totally recomand the place. Also super close with Caldwell downtown, that is cute with great places to eat.
Just a small, quiet campground which has had a lot of improvements from the previous year. We loved our stay last time and throughly enjoyed staying here again. The owner was not in town so we were greeted by her friend who was house sitting. She was super cool and gave us several recommendations of restaurants in the area. I was not cooking after our long day of travel!! I really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the birds and fresh country air verses the road noise when we have to stop at a Cracker barrel or rest stop. We will definitely come here again, next time we are traveling through.
This place is close to I 84 so very easy to get to.
Very quiet place to spend the night without much light pollution. Clear communication with Kimberly. It is a dirt lot so be prepared to track it in your vehicle or use a shoe mat. Listing mentioned a steep driveway and we were expecting 15 degrees or more but it was not bad in our Sprinter van.
Very beautiful space just on the outskirts of the city and the peacefulness of country living could be addictive! The host, Kim, was very responsive to my questions and had wonderful recommendations for site seeing in the area.
