This property was once owned by a relative of mine who had homesteaded here. After he died, his daughter then owned the land until she was old and wanted to move. She sold my sister and I each 1.5 acres of ground. We have chosen not to build on this land that we've owned for over a decade, because we want to build something amazing. For now, we want to share the joy of the land and make enough to pay our taxes on it! We love the trees, the birds, and the running water on this property from Fox Creek. It's been organic pasture land only as long as I can remember, and I'm older. We do NOT want party animals using this property......quiet, respectful families or small groups are perfect. Don't disturb our nice neighbors who live pretty far away, but who are used to quiet. Don't even light a tiny campfire unless you KNOW YOU KNOW HOW TO HANDLE IT, AND HAVE WATER AND A FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO PUT IT OUT. Otherwise, get a propane firepit, and have no worries. : ) We only allow RV campers. : ) No tents. Please don't leave a mess. We will charge your deposit if you do. Do you want the ability to take a quick drive to a hundred places to hike, explore, fish, raft, cycle, 4 wheel, etc? Want a perfect location to walk your dogs, hike, walk, even ride your horses (we have the ability to host horse campers) from on our Rails to Trails pathway? This camping spot has water rights, and often through the summer, there is a little stream going through the front of the place. The meadow grass is beautiful, and you can see the tip of the Tetons from the campsite! EASY LOCATION to Driggs, Victor, Jackson, Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Bear World, Kelly, Heise, etc. Quiet, respectful people a bonus. We don't accept partiers or loud boisterous people.....sorry.....people around here go to bed by 10 pm (county quiet hours begin then) , and don't want to hear any overly obnoxious noise--Be a good camper, be clean, pack out your trash, and we'll both be happy. No tents, or extra campers, or more than 2 vehicles in your site at any time. ONE RV/camper only per site. Tents may be considered, in conjunction with an RV for no less than $50 in additional fees. If you set up a tent without permission, there will be a minimum $75 fee per night charged to your deposit. If we have to have interaction with you due to noise issues, fire issues, or damage issues, or any other complaints by our far-away neighbors, we will charge your security deposit a fee, based on how long it takes us to deal with the issue. As long as you abide by the golden rule, all will be well. We live about 15 minutes away, so we can help if need, but won't even know you are there otherwise. Remember, this is a beautiful open area to camp in, but we do not provide anything other than a great new graveled driveway, septic hookups, well and electric 50 amp service. Bring your own camp chairs and completely covered mesh-top fire pit and a fire extinguisher, if you want a campfire. NO OPEN-top FIREPITS. Look at Teton County, Idaho burn bans before lighting. NO motorized bikes or 4 wheelers/ATV's etc. in use at campsite. Go to your trailhead to use these. Our biggest draw to other guests has been the LOCATION, SPACE AND PRIVACY THIS PROPERTY HAS...which is worth a lot.

This is a great base if you’re ok with driving to and from Grand Teton and Jackson every day. Victor and Driggs are very nice small towns with great food options and this site is extremely close to both. Beautiful views of the Idaho mountains and tons of space to move around.

Great location with amazing views over the fields and mountains. Extremely private and quiet. The towns of Victor and Driggs are delightful. Good restaurants and stores. Great small town feel but close enough to Jackson to visit - and leave as it was so busy. For directions just use the road sign as we couldn’t see any brown gates. They also look like they are building more sites for RVS but from the place we were situated we couldn’t see it.

Beats any RV Park Hands Down

The location was centrally located between Victor and Driggs and offered very convenient close access to lot’s of hikIng trails, mountain biking and kayaking opportunities. The location is just off Hwy 33 but far enough away that the road Noise was hardly noticeable. It really felt as if we had the field mostly to ourself. There is one other neighbor who we enjoyed meeting very much. The night time sky featured a grand Milkyway lighting things up with many shooting stars. We will definitely be back!

Janine and Kendall were so accommodating! Great location for fun times on the west side of the Tetons. Victor and Driggs are small and friendly towns and this site in between them with a bike path to both towns. Just minutes away from the Teton River and Grand Targhee Ski Resort with amazing mountain biking in the summer.

It wasn't crowded and quiet. We were careful to keep our 6' distance but we got to know a few of the friendly horses on the other side of the fence. It was very nice to have water, power and sewer hookups and have that openness. You don't get that in a RV park.

The site had a nice, albeit it a narrow, gravel pad. Unfortunately, it was right next to the new septic tank that didn't have any grass on it, just wet mud/dirt. The description leads you to believe that you'd be the only camper on the property. When in reality there were two other RV campers there. Our site did face the road, away from the other campers, and provided plenty of road noise to drown out all the other campers' kids running around. Ultimately, we expected more beauty and serenity for $57/night.

Beautiful setting with views of the pasture with grazing horses and a peek of 3 Teton peaks. Victor itself is worth investigating...great coffee, deli, massage at Teton Springs, hiking and biking. None of the Jackson buzz. Thank you Janine and Kendall!

Scenic, quiet, perfect location - you can't ask for much more from a campsite! This the ideal spot for a "gateway" to the Grand Tetons, especially when crowded campsite options in nearby Jackson Hole are $$$$. You'll have this whole place to yourself (the dream!), with epic 360 degree mountain views. It is a primitive site, so come prepared with water, etc. There are a few landmarks on the property to let you know you've found the right open field (parked trailer and cool old rusty truck). We were so happy to have found this space – I highly recommend!

This site was great, and I recommend it highly! Finding a place to stay near Jackson and Yellowstone in the summer is expensive, and I was so happy we happened upon this spot on Hipcamp — not only was it much less expensive than other options in the area, but we also got to see the charming towns of Victor and Driggs, Idaho! The campsite itself is a beautiful little field with easy access off the road. The horses in the adjacent pasture are a plus, and you really should get there before sunset so you can watch the beauty of the sun going down over the mountains. Oh and Janine and Kendall are very accommodating (something I haven’t always found with Hipcamp hosts); they checked in via text after we arrived but otherwise gave us full privacy. Really, five stars all around.
