Steve has a beautiful, big back yard near Savannah ready for a visit. Just 20 minutes from everything you can't find a better place to park your rig if you're in the Savannah area. Easy in and out for any size camper with plenty of space to camp without feeling like you're encroaching on the family. Definitely a great place to stay!

Our second stay! It's lovely property, flat, easy in and out, very private and we felt very safe. Steve and Tanya are exceptional hosts, welcoming, friendly, informative about the area; and their children are exceptionally well behaved. So polite, funny and smart! It was a pleasure to stay with them.

Steve and his wife were super friendly and Steve offered his help for anything needed. As a Solo traveler, it was especially nice that Steve checked up on me every few days. It was a lovely spot. Easy access for big rigs. Easy straight shot to Savannah in 30 mins. There is free dump station at Camping World in Pooler. Electric, water, garbage and WiFi are included and worked great. Would definitely return if ever in the area!

What a gem! We had a wonderful time on our visit to Savanna and that was thanks to Steve and his family. We had no problems fitting our 41’ 5th wheel into the spot and it was a wonderful space to relax around the fire in the evening. Steve and his family were wonderful hosts as well. They gave us great suggestions on where to go based on our group and what we were looking to do while in town. We wish we could have stayed longer and this will be the only place we want to stay next time we are in town for sure! Thanks for treating us like family!

We had an awesome time at Steve’s campground - one RV (travel trailer) and one tent, plenty of extra space. Super cool firepit set-up under a massive, beautiful tree. On-site friendly kitties, chickens, saw an armadillo & some owls. Really fun time, highly recommend, would absolutely return.

Steve’s place was an exceptionally nice place to camp. It was private and it was very easy to access Savannah. Steve recommended the trolley tour which we did and enjoyed. Waking up to the roosters call was fun and reminded us of our childhoods.

Steve’s setup was great! Firewood was available for the fire pit. Water and electric hookups were great. The area was awesome, good privacy, easy to find, and a quick drive to downtown Savannah. We will definitely be staying there again when we decide to explore Savannah some more!

My husband ended up staying there almost two weeks and my daughter and I were there for a few days.
Pros: Steve is absolutely fantastic and one of the kindest of people.
It’s a Beautiful area
The site is huge with a really nice fire pit.
Water and electric are included.
Negatives: phone service is awful. However, he does have great WiFi.
My husband will definitely be back!

We stayed Steve on our journey from Michigan to Florida. His location was a prime home-base for our adventures in and around Savannah, GA. The property was easy to access and the utilities were easy to hook up to. The area was spacious and felt private. The fire circle was gorgeous and surrounded with seats, swings, and a hammock. The chickens and roosters were friendly and provided us a calming wake up in the mornings. 10/10, highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Steve’s place! There was only one RV space, so we were the only guests and had the fire pit area all to ourselves. It was also fenced on the side where Steve and his family lives, so it felt very private.
There are roosters, hens and two cats on the property, and horses grazing on the neighboring farm. If you are lucky you might even see deer!
Savannah is only a 30 min drive away, so it’s close enough to visit.
Play areas for kids, a pond, swings… Our daughter played with their kids. Lovely sunrise under the huge oak tree…
We had a lovely couple of days and will definitely try to come back!

My family and I are full-time travelers and wanted to visit the Savannah area. I am very happy that we stayed here as opposed to just a regular campground or RV park. Steve and his family are extremely welcoming, and made us feel like family. His land is large enough to be big rig friendly, we have a 44ft fifth wheel. It is also very flat. There is a nice fire pit area with swings. It is conveniently located not too far from activities and stores. Pets are allowed if leashed. They do have free roaming chickens, though, as a heads up, they are also extremely kid, friendly, especially for the little ones. They let our daughter play on the swing set and everything. He responds very quickly and communication was great during our whole stay. I highly recommend booking this place.

We came into town to visit family who live in Savannah and very much enjoyed our stay on Steve’s property. Both he and his entire family are all so very friendly and accommodating. I literally was greeted with fresh picked figs one morning! Our dogs haven’t been around many farm animals and were very curious, but entertained, seeing all the chickens, horses, cats, goats, and a pig. The rv site was flat and extremely easy to get into. It also has partial shade from a large oak which helped in the July heat. We had no issues whatsoever and will 1,000% be back to visit.

We highly recommend Steve's campsite. We are new to Rving and really liked how we were able to pull thru and park easily. Steve's a great host and checked on us by text often to make sure we were OK. When our AC broke down, he rigged us a special power line that we could use to run a portable AC unit we bought to fill in. Its an easy 25 minute drive from the campsite to downtown Savannah with good restaurants and historic sites. The beaches are just a bit further away. We'll be back.

Loved our stay with Steve and Lee, THE most gracious hosts on the planet. Very friendly and easy going. The way they set up the site offers plenty of privacy and your own fire pit with lights (and even fire wood). Steve had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Do take the hop on/ hop off tour in Savannah. Well worth the history and points of interest you wouldn't necessarily see (thank you, Steve!). Easy directions to find. Steve had us set up in no time. The lane going out of the area is a bit rough, but there is an alternate route and only 2 minutes longer. Very convenient to Savannah, local shopping, and other areas of interest. We would definitely stay again and again and again...

We needed to install some solar panels on our RV and we reached out to Steve before our stay and he didn’t mind at all. He even let us borrow some tools! Overall it was a wonderful stay, convenient to everything we needed

Steve is a great host! Very accommodating and has a true desire to make sure you have everything you need. The communication was very good prior to and during our stay.
This was the perfect spot for us as we were in visiting family for Thanksgiving and were in and out of downtown Savannah several times.

Steve and his family were wonderful hosts! Very easy to communicate with and willing to help out if we asked! The set up was lovely! We built a few fires and hung out on the hammock. I would highly recommend this camp!

We loved camping here for the week! The camp was secluded in the backyard with a great fire pit. The host & his family are SO NICE, seriously above and beyond hospitality. They gave us our privacy, but checked on us regularly (it was hurricane season and they guided us newbies through the potential storm). Would recommend this spot to anyone looking to stop in the are :)
