The first day of all stays gets free hot dogs and potatoes to roast on the fire pit. No cost for soft drinks and water in the fridge. The Retreat is located in the Northern Georgia Smoky Mountains, about 10 miles from the start of the Appalachian Trail. It is completely private and isolated, with only one site and one guest reservation at a time. The property spans 11 acres of forest, offering peace and seclusion. We are about 9 miles north of Blairsville, GA, and 20 miles from Blue Ridge, GA. Breakfast is available, along with assistance in planning hikes to nearby trails and waterfalls. Canoeing is also available. In Blue Ridge, you’ll find a narrow-gauge train ride, as well as many tourist attractions and shopping opportunities. We would love to welcome you and make your stay a memorable one. The Isolated Retreat carries a spirit of peace and unconditional love.The site is the only accommodation on the property. Great 2 night stay!

Ray was the most gracious host making sure we had everything we needed. He had hot dogs, potatoes and marshmallows ready to roast on the fire pit (stocked with plenty of wood) on our arrival so we didn't need to worry about dinner. He even offered organic vegetables from his farm just down the road. The tomatoes and cucumbers were delicious! The RV was stocked with coffee and other drinks in the fridge and basic toiletries were provided. Star gazing at night from the hot tub was very nice even during these hot summer days. We enjoyed local BBQ at Papaws BBQ and grabbed some local honey from the antique store right next door. Nottely reservoir trail is minutes down the road and is a nice hike around the lake or if you want a beach, you can try Poteet Creek swimming area. Blairsville is about 15 minutes away and has grocery and restaurants if you can't find what you need at the Dollar General 5 minutes away. We had a great time and will definitely return soon! I do want to note that this is a RV on acres of woods. As any camping or RV'ing situation, you need to expect bugs and a little dirt. The RV could use a little updating but everything was in working condition (the AC was top notch) and we were very comfortable during our stay.
