It was an amazing stay. We did two nights in the Magnolia tent. The nature walks are incredible, the cows are so fun and the entire place is just very relaxing. Only recommendation to future campers would be to NOT arrive after dark. It was very hard to find the entrance etc. due to the surrounding town not having a lot of streetlights. We will be back!

The Farm House was large and nicely decorated. There were a lot of areas to hang out. Kayaks and canoes and fishing poles are available. There are several gas grills and many wood grilling pits available with wood provided. There are chickens and cows and a nice walking trail. Very peaceful place, except for the loud airboats that frequent the waters.

This was the quiet respite we needed to fill our cup and restore. Peaceful, quiet, friendly, clean, cute. We loved the screened porch, having a full kitchen, and long walks in the woods. Our host wasn’t in our business, yet available if we needed anything. We have been influenced by the permaculture to consider doing a Hipcamp at our Christmas tree farm. Thank you Tara!

Had a wonderful stay camping! Friendly cows welcomed us every morning. We had a spot right next to the water. The compost bathrooms were easy to use. Would stay again! Thank you!

I was visiting Rainbow Springs with some of my friends and we absolutely loved staying at this location!!! The cottage is so homey and comfortable. Our favorite part was the cows! They're so nice! Great price and a great property. Super responsive host. Thank you, Tara!

My family loved the experience. Waking up with cows and chickens was fun . We made s’mores and played board games by the camp site . Saw the starts on our telescope and biked around the property. The only thing we didn’t see was gators . Lots of hiking spots . The place was clean and even had a coffee maker . Couple suggestions I would add would be nice if they had a picnic table by our glamp . We loved glamping there would definitely go back again .

Glamping was a great experience. We loved seeing the cows and chickens . The glamp was right by the water and we had a fire pit available to cook the hot dogs and s’mores . The only thing we wish we had was a picnic table by our glamp . Also wished the toilet was closer but we had bikes and were able to get there fast .

Cute shabby chic decorated farmhouse provided a nice retreat for a couple days. I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch looking out to the water and watching the chickens roam.
Tara’s directions were helpful. However I ended up driving past the property at first. The Boondocks store is a short distance past and I remember seeing it mentioned in another review. So, I stopped in and pick up some snacks and a sandwich and then headed back to the property. The wood tree shaped sign and driveway were easier to see from that direction. All in all I had a great stay!

Camp next to an Airboat highway
It's sad that so much effort went into the site and guest experience. It could have been a perfect little getaway... (with one new unfortunate detail that's is no fault of the owners; but, never mentioned.)
The scene is a treasure. Set camp behind a little farm, with walking trails to an orchard... It's next to a small natural stream overlooking sea-grass and old birch woods. It's like a vintage oil painting of old Florida.
And talk about amenities too (compost outhouses, outdoor showers, swimming hole with rope swing, a two story gazebo with power and shelter [just in case or just because]... Seems like they also have new [very cute] glamping tents coming soon.)
Unfortunately, (and, again, at no fault to the owners) all of this seems to be a literal stones throw from the area’s hot spot for AirBoat adventuring.
During the first day, this continuing and intense (can't hear what you said across a campfire) roar was chalked up to new experiences... But when it lasted well into the early morning... Well, that makes sleeping under any stars hard-to-call serene.
(Oh, and our guests rented one of the “cabins.” A one night stay, after “fees,” was almost $500 for something certainly not connected to the farm [as advertised]. Do yourself a favor, just rent an Airbnb instead.)

We loved tent camping on Tara's land! It was georgous scenery, farm animals, and perfect weather. Everyone we met there was super kind and hospitable! The only thing we weren't thrilled about was the compost bucket style bathrooms that attracted critters to crawl on ya bum. We definitely want to come back but would probably bring our own toilet device.

I chose this place to stay to escape the bustle of the city, to be close to nature and recharge. The cottage is adorable and feels homey the moment you set foot in the door. Observing the cows, walking the trails and soaking up the songs of the swamp was magical and I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you Wonderfield!

Wonderfieldfarm is absolutely magical. The property is gigantic and there is so much beauty. From waking up to the sound of roosters to seeing the morning sunlight peak through the moss covered old old oak and magnolia trees to watching cows in the wild. One cow ran towards us, it was so cute and happy. We spend a day at Rainbow Springs which is less than 45 minutes away from Wonderfieldfarm. Everyone was super nice and we will definitely be back. Such a nice weekend escape and can’t wait to experience another season there.

My friends and I had an excellent time camping at Wonderfield! The property is massive and very well maintained. The amenities place it much higher than a normal campsite. Cut firewood for the multiple fire pits, compostable toilets, a screened gazebo with a small solar power system and the outdoor shower were all extremely welcome perks. If you’re summer camping like we did, stock up on bug spray and maybe some battery operated fans. But even with the bugs and the heat, we had a blast! We arrived too late in the morning to enjoy tubing down the Rainbow river but our host informed us of an awesome swimming hole just a stones throw from the campsite which was probably a better time anyway. I really look forward to coming back this fall! Thanks again Tara and the rest of the staff at Wonderfield!

Kitschy Cottage on Orange Grove
We loved our stay! Great little house, and the property is beautiful. Especially enjoyed the boardwalk trail, and the employees Stephen and Chandler were super helpful!

This cabin was quaint, but more than we needed for a family of five and the amenities were awesome! Basically if you stay on property you have your run of the whole farm, which means feeding cows, chasing chickens, free eggs and citrus, access to canoes and kayaks and more! It’s a funky property but there is a ton to do on site-hikes, fishing, canoeing, interacting with animals, etc. we were about 40 minutes away from weekiwatchee springs and rainbow springs and we loved both. We mixed in an airboat ride as well. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back with friends!

Camping at WonderField Farm & Grove
We loved our stay at Wonderfield farm. The property was a blast to explore and was only 35 minutes to the seven sisters spring, where we were able to rent kayaks and spend all day on crystal clear water. We were able to have a lot of privacy on the property, and firewood was provided which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the farmhouse and had a wonderful time! We slept well, beds clean and comfy. Great a/c. Pleasantly surprised with 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen was great, cooked breakfast both mornings. We enjoyed walking the property and visiting with the cows. The best part of the house, in my opinion, is the two screened in porches. One side had a comfy couch where we streamed Mass (internet was great). The other had a huge table (and comfy couch) where we enjoyed our evening meals. Kudos to the caretaker who had lit tiki torches outside for us both nights and had a fire in the fire pit going for us the 1st night, thanks so much. We really liked it here. We do not like the airboats, they are very loud and really disturb the peace. We did not notice them after 10 pm nor early morning though. We really love this area of FLorida. Boondocks a door or two down looked to have yummy sandwiches but we didn’t try them. We love Inverness & Homosassa. All the people with whom we interacted were amazingly friendly. The clubhouse (?) area looked great, I bet it’s beautifully decorated if you have a party, meal, or shower. We noticed a screened in porch building down by the water. Definitely rent that if you like camping, it was really cool, complete with bath house. We did feel mosquitoes. Overall, this farm is definitely worth it and we’d highly recommend it.

Wonderfield Farm was a cherry on top of our week long trip to Florida. We were tired of the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the quietness and serenity of the farm was exactly what we needed.
Tara was very welcoming and responded promptly to our questions on Hipcamp chat. She doesn’t stay on the farm full time, but we met some of the other people who work there tending to the animals and taking care of the garden.
The house was spacious with a large living room, a bedroom with two comfy queen size beds and a shower. There is an additional bathroom with the Tun next to the kitchen. The kitchen was my favorite place! Bright, newly renovated, with quality appliances and kitchenware and a cool bar we used for eating breakfast and writing.
There are also two screen patios: one with a large dining table and a grill and another with a sofa and a fire pit.
We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and the roosters. Our daughter was thrilled to meet the chickens, the ducks, the piglets and of cause the cows. It was super fun to fed them oranges!
We walked through the garden, took the nature walk through the property and picked oranges from the trees and from the ground. What a neat experience!
The farm is very authentic and is surrounded by a creek and marshes. We didn’t see any snakes or gators, but quite a few lizards, frogs and furry caterpillars.
Tara had provided plenty of information about places to explore nearby, dining etc.

We loved our experience of staying the restored Farmhouse on an actual working farm. The house was decorated nicely and included everything we needed for our stay. One of our favorite experiences was walking on the trail labeled clearly along the waterway. Plus, Floral City was near several nice State Parks like Crystal River and Homasassa Springs

The experience was excellent the farm is nicely tucked away. the provided fire pit and wood was wonderful there are some air boaters in the swamp but a few of them gave us a free ride which was terrific
